NPower Payment Status – 2016 Beneficiaries
1. There are currently 182,347 qualified volunteers.

2. Only 173,046 volunteers are able to receive payments. For those unable to receive payments

a. 5,520 qualified beneficiaries are without account records on their NPVN profile

b. 684 beneficiaries have ‘’Know Your Customer’’ issues between the volunteer and bank i.e expired IDs, Account dormancy, recently closed accounts, transactions are not permitted

c. 2656 qualified beneficiaries with BVN unlinked to provided Account Numbers

d. 190 qualified beneficiaries have invalid account numbers/invalid BVN

e. 107 qualified beneficiaries have NAME mismatch issues

If you are having payment issues, you will be given till the 16th of October, 2017 to sort it out at your end.

Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC has just launched a new Skills Acquisition Training Programmes for all youths within the ages of 18 to 35.

METHOD OF APPLICATION FOR ALL THE PROGRAMMES:

1. The application will only be received online through the NDDC web portal.

2. The applicant is expected to complete one form only as multiple applications will attract automatic disqualification.

The whole issue is getting every concerned person bored.

In fact, everyone is confused due to the answers the Npower Team keep providing each time this issue is been raised.

You will agree with me that overtimes, majorities of the 2017 applicants had asked the Npower team times without number when the 2017 list of successful candidates shall be released and their answers or responses has always been that the 2017 list of successful applicants shall be out probably after September, 2017 ending.

All the Npower female beneficiaries that wish to apply for Npower maternity leave are to write a letter to the head of their Places of Primary Assignment, PPA and to their State Focal Person, SFP.

According to the Npower's policy, Npower female beneficiaries who give birth during the programme are entitled to a three months maternity leave.

THE JOINT ADMISSIONS AND MATRICULATION BOARD, JAMB RELEASES NEW PROCESS FLOW FOR ADMISSION INTO TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS.
JAMB: The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has provided the Step-by-Step Process Flow of the Admission Exercise for the education and information of general public and the stakeholders, particularly the Candidates.

(Candidates should note, in particular, steps 8, 16 and 18 that require their Actions and Decisions) The admission process flow is as stated below;

1. After successful completion of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and release of results, lists of Candidates were forwarded to their First Choice Institutions

2. JAMB thereafter requested all Institutions to use the Lists to determine their respective Cut off Marks and forward same to JAMB ahead of the Policy Meeting and programme (course).

3. JAMB received and collated Individual Institution and programme (course) Cut Off Marks as determined by their respective Senate/Academic Board

4. Three (3) Representatives of Institutions- (Vice Chancellors / Registrars / Provosts), Registrars and Admissions Desk Officers were trained on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS)

5. Policy Meeting was held with Heads of Tertiary Institution and Regulators to determine, among others, the General Cut Off Marks for categories of institutions, based on earlier submissions of individual Cut Off marks by the Institutions.

At the meeting, which was held in Abuja on Tuesday, 22 August, 2017, the institutions decided that the lowest submissions from Institutions would also be Minimum Cut off Marks and these were 120 (for Universities) and 100 (Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education).
