But the final scene with Ah Sahm walking down the street with Young Jun and other Tongs by his side felt a bit off to me. Young Jun should be leading the pack, not Ah Sahm. For some reason, I find a lot of the secondary characters more compelling than the main protagonist.

Young Jun, Ah Toy, Bill, Lee, Chao, anybody but Ah Sahm lol.

Yeah. I expected more fight scenes since it's the season finale. But can't complain cause am f**king loving this series a lot.

I agreed with you on the secondary characters being more compelling. Ah Sahm is cool but I can easily pick five characters I like in the series before. Of course, Leri/Leary is number one. Dude is something special.

My favourites so far: Leri, Ah Toy, Li Yong, Young Jun & Billi

BTW I love the way Leri talks. I need to see him fight one of these chinese guys, Al Sahm, Li Yong or any strong one.

Am not sure the Chinese guy that beat up Lee works at the Casino or hired by them. I see Mai Ling behind the attack. Remember her Tong and that Chinese guy's Tong are now in business since they tried to kill Father Jun at the festival.

Ah Sahm winning the fight will be a total disaster. Am also pissed that he won Bolo. Bolo would have matched up well against Li Yong.

Ah Sahm was literally begging for his life at that point. Poor dude gave up when he saw Mai Ling gave Li Yong the killed order. Thanks to Bill and Lee who came through for Al Sahm

But see how Li Yong take dey train. He receives numerous beating from his Tong members. He built his body to withstand pain and damage. We saw him deep his hand into hot sand or so two weeks ago.

And only God knows how long he has built his body system to adapt to pain. So am not too surprised he got up from that.

I rewatched the scene about 3 times, awesome fight sequence.

We couldn't have asked for a better fight They both landed great damage on one another. I could literally feel their bones breaking from the sound effects

Yeah. Li Yong is still the undisputed champion. But he received a lot of damage unlike when he fought Al Sahm at home.

This episode 9 is great and I thank God Al sahm was not killed,now I see that there is no family in Business,you guys could see how Mai ling gave that her Boyfriend go ahead to kill her elder brother.

And also That Bill Partner it won't be good to see him drop dead now that we are still going to migrate to Season 2.

If Al sahm should work with penny Father I can see penny falling for Al Sahm again.

Another thing is that I hate to see how Father Jun Abandon Al Sahm..

The season finale will be a blockbuster.

Al Sahm should have been killed, Li Yong was hesitating. Li Yong started the fight in a very poor fashion, and got me thinking "Is he going to be a choker under pressure?". I wasn't surprised he stood up after Al Sahm KO-ed him. Look at how he trains compare to how Al Sahm trains. Li Yong has durability which in that fight was the best ability. In training he was taking seriously beating while Al Sahm was busy sweating over a wood statue

Al Sahm is fo-olish if he taught Mai Ling was gonna spare her life in that critical moment when she was trying to achieve something big. She already warned Al Sahm not to fight Li Yong.

Lee wasn't killed he was just badly wounded. That chinese dude that beat him was the same dude that beat his Tong leader and few of his men in that their meeting with Mai Ling. We might get to see more of him in season 2.

Father Jun is old prick. How I wish it was his son who faced Li Yong, Lemme see if he will leave him on the street.

About the fight, isn't it a fight to the death? If yes, Ah Sahm might just end up killing Li Yong, of course after receiving numerous beating from him. If cinemax pull a GOT and Li Young killed Ah Sahm for real, then we have a series in our hands.

BTW, am happy Ah Sahm have finally realized who Mai Ling is and what she is capable of.

But damn it, am loving me some Ah Toy. The way she talks, thinks and acts is everything. And she is a bloody killer

As for Penny, she will definitely crawl back to the hands of Ah Sahm. She loves him and he does too.
