As soon as that fight started, it didn't take very long for Sunny to gain the upper hand. Sunny was about to impale Pilgrim with a couple of spears he picked up before Pilgrim quickly entered dark mode to save himself.

May be i exaggerated sha. Pilgrim's fighting skills is not average. It's a little above average and he's still no match for any of those people I mentioned earlier....without the gift of course. Even Pilgrim admitted that Sunny always used to kick his àss when they were young.

This Pilgrim guy is grossly exaggerated and if there were no dark powers at all, his fat àss wouldn't even last in the badlands.

Pilgrim might be exaggerated. But if you make a top 5 fighters in the badlands. He will be 4th or 5th.

Without the dark gifts. My top 5 fighters:

1. Sunny
2. The Master
3. Quinn
4. Pilgrim
5. That dude Sunny chopped off his hand.

The Widow starts from No. 6

This are people we have actually seen fight. Ankara might be better than some but we just presume and haven't seen her fight.

Watch the fight scene again. The Master was clearly calm and steady. Pilgrim was very aggressive and rushing like a foolish lion. The Master has great martial arts skills which enabled her manuver through Pilgrim strikes.

Even Pilgrim was tired of failing to land a decent strike. And shouted "No more games".

From what we saw in this episode. Pilgrim dark gift wasn't just ordinary like the rest. First he wasn't born with the gift.

I even believe during the days of Azra, he was a nobody and probably an errand boy for the true sons of Azra (Sunny, his sister and the rest). Maybe Sunny and his sister liked him regardless and took him as their sibling.

That's that. I think the machine which Pilgrim used to gained the dark gift needed someone to be like the Master. Maybe during the lost days of Azra, there was a Master who can gift people the gift using the machine. I think that's what Pilgrim became.

And that power is very overwhelming as we can see. So y'all chill, The Master isn't overrated. Pilgrim was just overpowered.

Pilgrim is a thief. He is not a dark one.

Seems y'all are updated on the latest episodes, so am free to lay out my points.

I haven't watched the episode but this right here...

I don't understand how people rate Pilgrim's fighting skills outside him using the gift. The guys fighting is pretty average and cant even be placed on the same level as The Master and Sunny or Quinn.

The bolded also keeps raising questions in my head. Like why did Sunny allow his sons gift to be transferred to Pilgrim? Why didn't he take it for himself? I know it's to advance the plot, but to be honest, it made no sense.

Sunny didn't let Pilgrim take his son gift to himself. In order to take away the gift, Pilgrim needed to become the intermediary or something between the machine. Only someone of that power can take away someone's gift.

Pilgrim couldn't even lay a finger on the master until he entered into the dark mode.

In fact, I believe she allowed him to do his worst while he was in dark mode to fully understand the power of the person she is fighting.

Now, she knows that pilgrim wasn't born with the gift which will consume him overtime, she also knows that pilgrim has a power to turn of the dark gift.

Next episode will be exciting

Did anyone watch the preview of the next episode at where Sunny was fighting the black lotus with his trademark ferocity and the master said "True power hide until it is ready to strike" before apparently going on to wreak havoc.


This is Sunny sister and I think that his gift has been restored.

Patiently awaiting The Master vs Pilgrim 2nd leg.

And most especially Pilgrim vs Sunny

Omo The Master chop am ooo, contrary to popular opinion and expectation. If say na Bet 9ja now, so many of us ticket for don cut.

This is the best episode in the season so far, though it's a tough call.

It's safe to say that Pilgrim is very overpowered (which is how I like my villains to be) so much so that it's taking its toll on his body.

Hopefully season 3 isn't the end.

Forgive my perversion of the widow, she is just too beautiful not to have shown us some skin in the series.

Yes, American English and a little bit of Chinese do to some of the characters being Chinese.The writing is base on one of the highly popular Bruce Lee movie, what they did was to go deeper into the story and yes the writing is well written in which the movie setting is base in U S A around the 19th century.

Its 16 episodes, so five more episodes remaining and other TV networks are trying to take over the season 4 of into the badlands from AMC.
I pray it pushes through.

Yes, Sunny couldn't remember Pilgrim. You might be right but look at it this way.

Ankara never meet Pilgrim but she knew he was one of the lost sons of Azra. Same Ankara met Sunny and didn't say if he was one (lost sons of Azra) and Ankara and the Master obviously spent years together at the monastery. So Ankara should know if The Master is one of the lost sons of Azra.

Ankara did say Sunny's dark gift was very powerful when she met him. I think she even tried to access it but was throw away by the gift inside of Sunny.

I'm just not sold on The Master and Sunny being siblings cause I believe their timeline don't match.

I'm more inclined to believing the widow as Sunny's sister than The Master.

But let's see sha. You might be right.

Astra clearly exists. I mean that was were the gift was discovered. Though it might not be what Pilgrim is preaching it is.

Please go and rewatch it again. That man isn't Quinn. He just looks like him. Quinn doesn't know anything about the dark gift until he met MK. Black Lotus have been hunting dark ones since the days of Astra.

Captured by the black lotus and brian wash into working for the black lotus under the pretense that her brother is dead, she will finally see sunny in the black lotus Chambers as a prisoner some how both of them find out they're brother and sister in which she will help sunny escape/ survive the black lotus.

It makes perfect sense if the Black Lotus kidnapped Sunny's sister. We know Sunny, Pilgrim and Sunny's sister where in that ship when the Black Lotus attacked.

Sunny and his sister helped Pilgrim escape. Someone in that boat took Sunny away and had either take or locked it inside of Sunny to avoid the Black Lotus from tracking him. Maybe Sunny's sister was left in the ship and captured by the Cult.

But I'm not sure the cult would allow her work with them. It's a cult of men and so far we haven't seen any woman among them.
