Politics / Business Opportunity! Earn Per Vote by mictochy(m): 7:31pm On Apr 08, 2011 |
You can make money per vote. Thats the latest business in town right now. In most states, like Enugu some parties are paying people between 1000 Naira to 5000 Naira to vote for who they are told to vote for. Some said the scope is if you raise your thumb up, that means you are interested, then some under cover guys will be ready to take your offer. Make money if you like, but remember that money is like buying yourself into slavery. LOL I've got an offer sha, 5k for my vote. Chei am serious considering that sha. Lets wait and see!! Politics / How To Choose Whom To Vote by mictochy(m): 7:25pm On Apr 08, 2011 |
Its election time! How do you decide who to vote? What should look out for? Most persons like my friend look at money. He votes for candidates that pay highest. Others like my classmate look at Age. He votes the youngest contestant. Many like my brother look at appearance. He votes the most handsome/beautiful candidates Few are like my Dad. He votes for people with good ideology and track record Many are like me. I won't vote. What of you who are you voting for? How do you decide? Michael Editor @ http://corporatenigeria.com |
Politics / Nigeria Needs Total Reformation by mictochy(m): 12:49pm On Apr 05, 2011 |
We run an economy today that is based on budgeting. But, to a large extent, our culture does not encourage budgeting. In advanced economies that we are copying, if one lives on a monthly salary, it is difficult to expect one to share with members of one’s family, outside those in one’s nuclear family. In some instances, as one’s children attain the age of 18, parents would ask them to move out to get a council flat to live on their own. There is nothing like: “Sorry, I was passing by and remembered my relation lives here and I said I should stop by to greet him”, and perhaps, expect that in appreciation of the courtesy, one would reach into one’s pockets to accommodate the unexpected visitor. From which budget is that going to come from? |
Business / Central Bank Preparing Market For Chinese Yuan Trading by mictochy(m): 6:03pm On Mar 29, 2011 |
In its bid to diversify Nigeria’s foreign reserve base, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has begun training of staff and operators in trading in the Chinese Yuan. Lamido Sanusi, CBN governor, has always made a case for diversifying the country’s foreign exchange reserve, with a small shift into Asian currencies, in particular the Chinese Yuan. “If anything is changing from a strategic perspective, it is that we’re looking towards the Asian currencies. If you look at surpluses in China and if you look at where the RMB (Yuan) is today and the likely future direction of the Chinese economic policy … we believe some position in RMB would be good,” he told Reuters last year. Nigeria’s foreign exchange reserves, which currently stands at $34.9 billion, is held more than 80 per cent in US dollars, 10 per cent in Euros, and the rest in other investments including gold.
