Guy get a canon powershot sx40hs or sx50hs(bridge camera/semi pro camera) . Get a fairly used, it's match your budget perfectly.

They have some pro features you gonna like (like PASM mode + hotshoe and full HD video @24 fps).

Let nobody deceive you, the cameras produce superb image quality even at ISO 800.


I must buy the sx50hs this year, whether the devil likes it or not.
