Sanusi shouldn't have replied the hypocrites that criticized him on social media (twitter especially) |
bluaero:lol..its been long I insulted anyone on this forum, but I have to say you are the real mumu here. Do you think its that easy to impeach Mr president? Let me educate you. let's visit The 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Chapter 6 (section:143) which states that; I quote verbatim; 143. (1) The President or Vice-President may be removed from office in accordance with the provisions of this section. (2) Whenever a notice of any allegation in writing signed by not less than one-third of the members of the National Assembly:- (a) is presented to the President of the Senate; (b) stating that the holder of the office of President or Vice-President is guilty of gross misconduct in the performance of the functions of his office, detailed particulars of which shall be specified, the President of the Senate shall within seven days of the receipt of the notice cause a copy thereof to be served on the holder of the office and on each member of the National Assembly, and shall also cause any statement made in reply to the allegation by the holder of the office to be served on each member of the National Assembly. (3) Within fourteen days of the presentation of the notice to the President of the Senate (whether or not any statement was made by the holder of the office in reply to the allegation contained in the notice) each House of the National Assembly shall resolve by motion without any debate whether or not the allegation shall be investigated. (4) A motion of the National Assembly that the allegation be investigated shall not be declared as having been passed, unless it is supported by the votes of not less than two-thirds majority of all the members of each House of the National Assembly. (5) Within seven days of the passing of a motion under the foregoing provisions, the Chief Justice of Nigeria shall at the request of the President of the Senate appoint a Panel of seven persons who in his opinion are of unquestionable integrity, not being members of any public service, legislative house or political party, to investigate the allegation as provide in this section. (6) The holder of an office whose conduct is being investigated under this section shall have the right to defend himself in person and be represented before the Panel by legal practitioners of his own choice. (7) A Panel appointed under this section shall - (a) have such powers and exercise its functions in accordance with such procedure as may be prescribed by the National Assembly; and (b) within three months of its appointment report its findings to each House of the National Assembly. ( Where the Panel reports to each House of the National Assembly that the allegation has not been proved, no further proceedings shall be taken in respect of the matter. (9) Where the report of the Panel is that the allegation against the holder of the office has been proved, then within fourteen days of the receipt of the report at the House the National Assembly shall consider the report, and if by a resolution of each House of the National Assembly supported by not less than two-thirds majority of all its members, the report of the Panel is adopted, then the holder of the office shall stand removed from office as from the date of the adoption of the report. (10) No proceedings or determination of the Panel or of the National Assembly or any matter relating thereto shall be entertained or questioned in any court. (11) In this section - "gross misconduct" means a grave violation or breach of the provisions of this Constitution or a misconduct of such nature as amounts in the opinion of the National Assembly to gross misconduct. http://www.nigeria-law.org/ConstitutionOfTheFederalRepublicOfNigeria.htm#FederalExecutive Like an elderly man once told me, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than to impeach the president. I hope you now see that you are the real "mumu" now. You can always make a point without insulting people. Bye |
54-years old Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II has explained why he took an 18-years old princess from Adamawa as his new wife. The said response was posted by the Emir in a private mail group and not initially meant for public consumption, but The Paradigm laid hold of the response and decided to publish. Find his response below: “I am sure NC members all have their views and have kept quiet out of (appropriate) deference to our right to make our individual choice. Obviously I do not need to explain anything to anyone in a purely personal matter but a few points are worthy of note: 1. The lady in question is 18 and therefore legally of age to marry under all laws and certainly under Muslim law 2. She is proceeding for her undergraduate education in the UK in January. She had an A in computer science in her O levels and plans to get a degree in computer science 3 each and everyone of my wives is a university graduate and some have worked and often stopped and in each case the choice was purely theirs 4. It is a tradition in Kano that emirs and princes in choosing wives consider issues beyond the individual. The family is in every sense a social unit. My predecessor was married to princesses from Ilorin, Katsina and Somoto 5 The relationship between the late Lamido of Adamawa Aliyu Musdafa the father of the current Lamido is well known. Lamido Aliyu was the first emir turbanned after emir Sanusi I and they remained close until Sanusi’s death. 6. My own relationship with the current Lamido dates back to 1981 when he was Ciroma and commissioner for works. By the way the Lamido and I are not illiterates we know what we are doing and he does have a PhD in Engineering 7. My own mother was married in Adamawa and lived there for more than two decades and I have eight younger brothers and sisters from there 8. it is therefore natural that if I choose to marry from another kingdom Adamawa would be the first choice for me and I am extremely happy to strengthen these ling historical bonds http://www.nigeriafilms.com/news/36159/56/why-i-married-18-years-old-princess-54-years-old-e.html Lalasticlala |

bisiswag:Babe, abeg free that yan.. All I care about is my daughter's happiness. If getting married to an emir will make her happy, fine. I ll make her know all that's involved and it will be left for her to decide. This girl looks happy. She wasn't forced into this. I really wonder what the hell it is with you guys. We are different people and we make different choices. You are a lady, so this shouldn't be new to you. Some girls prefer much older men because they believe they(old men) know how to take care of women much more than the younger ones. Some are just after the wealth, fame and all.. I am sure you would make the same choice as the girl if you were to be in her shoes. You ld become a queen, give birth to princes and princesses, live in royalty and all..Babe, you ld have made the same choice..stop being a hypocrite #RoyaltyTalking |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RmY9DEEpAY Buhari Finally Opens Up On Saraki’s Corruption President Muhammadu Buhari revealed during an exclusive in-person interview with SaharaTV his feelings about Senate President Bukola Saraki and his ongoing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal for false declaration of assets. President Buhari, speaking with SaharaTV correspondent Adeola Fayehun, also addressed upcoming prosecutions of corrupt public officials and his ministerial appointees. President Buhari told SaharaTV that his government is conducting serious investigations into corrupt officials, especially within the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) as it relates to management of crude oil sales. President Buhari said that he could not give specific details on how much stolen money has been recovered “because we could compromise the legal processes” but that “very soon the process of prosecution will start.” President Buhari explained that Nigerian officials are collecting documents on the movement and sale of Nigerian crude, and those findings can be used “so that we can successfully prosecute those who have been stealing Nigerian crude.” SaharaTV asked President Buhari to comment on the ongoing legal proceedings against Senate President Bukola Saraki and their relationship. President Buhari stated that his confidence in Senate President Saraki “will depend on the outcome of the court decision.”. It is the first time the Nigerian president was publicly making his feelings known about the crisis rocking the Senate. President Buhari added that at the moment he works with Senate President Saraki as the constitution requires and added, “there are people [Ministers] I want to work with. I cannot work with them unless the National Assembly approves, so I have been writing to the Senate President and to the leader of the House—it is in the constitution.” He then said that his role as President does not include pressuring the judiciary to drop charges against Saraki adding, “I could be successfully impeached if I do it.” The interview with President Buhari then turned to current events and the controversy involving Nigeria’s Mission to the United Nations disorganization resulting in several missed opportunities and embarrassing moments this weekend during the General Assembly. President Buhari insisted that, about the meeting between international organizations and West African countries dealing with the effects of Boko Haram, “if we are not invited then we cannot be there.” He emphasized in his remarks “everybody knows that we are very serious about Boko Haram. If we know there is a meeting by the international community about Boko Haram, then we will be there. So we have to be invited.” SaharaTV pushed to have President Buhari reveal some information about his Ministerial picks, believed to be announced this week, but he declined to say. “I can’t because it would be illegal until the Senate cleared them I cannot talk to you about them.” He also said, “I have to discuss it with the Governors from the respective States they are coming from.” http://saharareporters.com/2015/09/29/exclusive-video-president-buhari-finally-opens-saraki%E2%80%99s-corruption-trial Lalasticlala, how are you this morning? ![]() |

The comedian was forced to put up the bills which he will be paying for everything the guests will be entitled to on that day especially those for the VVIP table. Basketmouth stressed that people should just stop calling him to ask for free tickets because everything put together cost him a lot of money which is already amounting to millions. In his words, “And that’s the upfront I’m paying for the venue, food and drinks for the VVIP guest, yet people will be calling to request for free tickets like the show doesn’t cost money to put together. God de sha, all those awoof people, make una no let me naked swear for una oh.” Base on the total list he revealed, everything had already amounted to about 14 million two hundred and twenty five thousand naira (14,225,000.00). http://www.nigeriafilms.com/news/36153/39/dont-ask-me-for-free-tickets-ive-bills-to-paybaske.html Lalasticlala |

List of 84 SINators that received the "ghana must go" package. OP, why is the 10th name cancelled? |
IdisuleOurOwn:lol..Mr hinwazaka may not be far from the truth even though he stated it with some hate in him. From Saraki's Address @ the senate today, he said they are still expecting the ministerial list..And when Adeshina was asked this morning, he said he believes Baba will keep to his word..I am sure Baba won't disappoint. The list should be ready by now and be made known to the public by tomorrow(unfailingly). I hope this news is true. |
