binary123:Bro don't mind these ppl jare, If u get better location especially where ajebo students full, setup a shawarma stand. First learn how to do it yourself on YouTube. Don't pay anyone for training. Once u know how to do it, get a space where students patronise very well and be making it for them. The smallest shawarma uses ingredients worth 1500 to make (including gas) and u sell for 2500, large needs ingredients of 1800 to make and you sell for 3k+. Get someone assist you because when orders come on a busy day u will be overwhelmed with them. As for venue Don't go for large and fancy, ppl will think its too expensive, get a small kiosk that can fit ur gas, pans etc. Put ur prices boldly outside. No buy fridge. Use a cooler with ice packs to chill ur ingredients at the kiosk, the remaining can be at home in freezer. If u run out u go and get more. Experiment with different flavours till u get ur signature taste so that ppl will keep coming to you. Once you have garnered enough customers and orders wan finish you. Then you can expand to a larger place with bamboo fittings, artificial carpet and lights. Update your menu and add fries, burger etc but don't charge higher, maintain ur prices unless economic shifts force u to do so, then after a while you can open another branch elsewhere after u have trained and gotten more staff. All these things na effort and hardwork and can take anywhere from several months to a few years. I have a friend who started this way, now he is a big boy in jos.
