Ait is fta on amos, it depends on your dish size. you can do a 2 in 1 set up if your dish is 90 - 100 cm. 16 degrees /17 degrees east

Valto: if u stay in mushin, u will need atleast 1.8m dish to get a very good reception of irib package ... Those prices u wrote are on the high side. Its just 9500naira for eurostar 1.8m dish at alaba.. U can get it for 10k at oshodi market

1.2m dish=4k-5k(my advice is contact 0bnelly and negotiate for his 1.5m dish if location is nt a barrier)

scalar ring=depends on which one(conical or d flat type), constructed my conical personally and it worked lyk magic.

cabble wire=b/w 7H and 8H

supermax lnbf of 17K=well i 4got how much i was told, but get ur butt to a sat shop and do necessary negotiation. For comparism, i bought my strong 15K lnbf for 1K5 here in owerri and it came with d flat scalar ring which i employed in constructing d conical ring i'm using.

PS i used a 1m dish and my IRIB is b/w 65---68% dependin on tym of d day.

Lastly where is ur location maybe i could offer a helping hand?

people of this forum please help me o! i've been out of lagos for a while. on my return, i switched on my 4922 hd box and it automatically did an OTA upgrade via mytv thus changing the display of the box. the alarming part is that my multitv which has a signal of 80 % displayed "no audio/video", i tried rescaning but i end up losing the channels on multitv yet i have signal of 80%., please house help me.

@all i remember when i got my first satellite reciever, skysat receiver without smart card and skysat dish. I enjoyed sabc 1,2,3, e. tv, xtreme sport, 5fm radio, God, it was like heaven. My skysat receiver decrypts sabc and e.tv automatically. Then mbc 2, sky news, eurosport news was on yagi antenna. Now, i need 3m to watch mbc, 6m to watch sky. Where's filmnet, botswana tv, etc. The MEP dishes. Pls help!
