God opened my eyes this morning, and I saw huge cobwebs all over my house.

I had a dream where my long-time enemy came to my house, and he said if I were aware that he was attacking me. I said, "Of course," or he thinks I don't know all this while.

Somehow I woke up and started praying. I then light my prayer candle. I have a lot of Christian songs, but in that moment I was looking for a mixed foreign Christian song that is soothing like blues.

I find one. Which lasted for 2 hours 30 minutes. After praying I use it to sleep as it was playing from my phone while my prayer candle was on.

I woke up this morning as I closed my eyes just lying down; I saw huge cobwebs all over my apartment with big, big spiders. The type you can't move around without them touching you.

But they are not visible to ordinary eyes.

I am just thinking how to remove them since they are not a physical thing.

So as a Christian you have enemies?
Long-time ones for that matter.

These guys are despicable.

I went to a boarding School, and naturally should hold a bias towards the boarding school, however those in favour of the Day school have equally put up compelling arguments.

For me, what I personally admire about boarding school is the discipline it instilled in me. Those obligatory activities helped in a lot, especially in time management.

I don't know how my day school experience would've turned out, but judging from my primary school experience, I had more time for social activities like playing football, watching movies, and playing video games. All these where restricted in the boarding school, and I don't know how that would've impacted on my grades.

But being that obedient kid, I was able to do well in the primary school, because there was less workload, and also topped my class for a while in the secondary.

Fast forward to the University which is predominantly day, I started well but my grades plummeted, and youthful exuberance had a somewhat negative behavioral change in me.

In my boarding school experience, there were many reports incidences of any type of social vices that day schools are typically adjudged to be renowned for.
There were also notoriously fearsome students that seemed above the law. There were reports of stealing, truancy, even cultism, but less of bullying.

By and large, why both environment have the ability to negatively or positively impact a child, the outcome generally depends on the character, upbringing, and disposition of the child.
Both environments could make or mar.

How about those publicly successful proposals? Do you not think it is possible the lady may have worthy options?

For what it is worth, most women love the show of affection, public or private. And no woman, no matter how timid, would intentionally and publicly embarrass a man she loves, or sees as a future spouse, EXCEPT there are some untold stories.

These untold stories are the major reason for women rejecting men in public, and not necessarily because another soul mate exists or the urge to embarrass men. Some of these women don't even have trustworthy men to fall back on.

You see those catastrophically failed proposals where the man sometimes gets a slap in return?
It is very likely those sort of men have done something unpardonable or at least, something the lady in question cannot bear to spend the rest of her life with him, and my best guess is that such men have already gotten a never-propose,-because-I-will-not-accept notice.
It could be based on serial cheating, physical abuses, manipulations etc.

It may be unsurprising that the real victims in these failed proposals are the ladies who reject such proposals, and not the men who got rejected or even slapped, who, knowing they have done something wrong, would then ride on publicity stunts to further manipulate the girls and further ensnare them for life under the guise of a proposal.

For some ladies, the man has not shown willingness to settle down, and perhaps sensing she is fed up with the relationship, men would pull up the public proposal stunt to tie the woman down simply because he doesnt want to let go.

For some women, they may even love the man deeply, but know deep down they know he is not ready for marriage, and may never be ready in a long time, and rejecting a proposal is the hard truth both parties must bear.

Men use this as a strategy to tie women down, knowing fully well, the public chants of "say yes", "say yes", will turn them into pity cats and make it difficult for a woman to turn them down. It takes courage, and some hard truth for a woman to reject a man in public, and it is purely borne out of untold stories, and not based on intent to humiliate the man.

Men who are rejected know exactly why they are rejected, and deservedly so, it is not always what it seems.

Normally that teacher wey dem slap suppose don hammer from these arrogant parents hand.

That "richness" that gave them the audacity to come and assault a teacher in school will be wasted on a lawsuit.

ANS: Yes. You are expected to "chest" the full rent. That's 100% your responsibility. Remember you took her from her father's house where she knows nothing about paying or sharing rent. However, wisdom dictates that you get an accommodation that's within your means and make projections for future increase.

ANS You pay the school fees 100% bro. Again, choose a school you can afford and get the termly bill and pay directly yourself. Make no mistake of giving her the money to pay. If she does pay, it should be voluntary or freewill and ensure you reimburse her as soon as you can. However, if she's "magnanimous", she may take care of some things like the child(ren)'s lunch pack/box(es), extra clothing etc.
3. If the wife contributes financially, is there an expectation that the man does chores? (Ps I don't want to do any chores in this life apart from occasional cooking lol).
ANS This can occur especially of your spouse is not the "domesticated" type. She can use it as an opportunity to "rope" you into doing chores. That's when you'll be called to "bring out the food in the freezer to microwave for yourself or the children because she's running late getting home". Trust me, women have ways of making you do things you ordinarily will frown at but you won't due to the circumstances. However, try make yourself useful when at home by taking on some chores intermittently like clearing cobwebs , help iron her clothes for church while she's in the bathroom , clearing and washing dishes together as a way of bonding etc.

ANS You don't get to make decision by fiat but through dialogue and compromise (which can sometime hurt your ego)
The last question is ONLY for married men who share bills?
I don't share bills with my spouse but she supports voluntarily especially when she senses I'm not financially buoyant and I make up for it in KIND.

ANS Don't go into marriage with this mindset bro. Women want some level of "freedom and independence" including their finances. Let her spend her income the way she deems fit. That's a way to know if she's a good or bad with finances and to what extent you can trust with your finances or that of the family.

As an added bonus, I suggest you both have this conversation not with the mind of sharing financial responsibilities but to build and secure your future financially. Have a goal or plan and be committed to it wholeheartedly. For instance, if you earn more, you can suggest to her to use her income to run the home while yours is put into capital projects like securing landed properties, setting up and running a family business etc.

As plausible as your view is, this is not a manual to a successful marriage. This mindset is in fact the reason why marriages these days are doomed to fail.

Most men are married to women who are good earners, yet when they need to sort out simple domestic issues they resort to friends for help, while their wives have the means.
Why then is she your partner?

The advantages of partners pulling their resources together cannot be overemphasized.
You make better financial decisions, and achieve more as a family.

There's no law that says a man must foot the bills 100% where his spouse is also earning. It shouldn't be a matter of discretion on the part of the woman. She must be ready to bear a financial cross in the family too, except she is not working.

So too it is with chores, a man must contribute too, whether the wife earns or not.

As a Christian the one of the dangers of listening to secular music is been influenced by them. Since they promote worldliness, there is a high probability of causing us to deviate from our faith, acting worldly, and ultimately leading us into sin.
In the world we live in, it is difficult not to listen to secular songs, even if we do not willfully indulge ourselves, we often hear them been played all around us from entertainment centres.
The gist is not allowing ourselves not to be influenced or corrupted by secular songs, or replacing our entire spiritual life by them.
For me, listening to secular songs alone is not a sin, but allowing yourself to be led astray by them is a sin.
In essence secular songs are like temptations, which in itself is not a sin.
