I just wish PYO becomes running mate and takes over after Obi. This sounds like redemption.

We have lost a President because others played dirty. If you had the interest of this country you won't be saying this.

PYO may have lost the battle but to those of us who constantly wish well for this country know he won the war.
That is not the same for Tinubu. His emergence has left us even in more doubt, disbelief and hopelessness and only a wishful thinking that Nigeria survives under him or Atiku.
None of them will get my vote even.

Shey you dey whine me ni. This man was failure for 7 years yet some of you are hyping him. Atiku's score card as VP is outstanding compared to Osibanjo. The only thing this professor will be known for in history is wasting billions of naira on Tradermoni. He is not that bright in governance or resource management.

He is a lightweight politically. A sitting VP came 3rd and a very distant third at that. Nobody really respects him apart from the online herd. I was ashamed for him at Eagle square when he was called to speak and his rented crowd were constituting nuisance. Delegates just dey look am say wetin dey do this one.

And what was Atiku's score card if I may ask? You mean brazenly been at loggerheads with his boss?
As VP you should know your functions are limited, even though constitutionally you have economic powers and functions, in practice that is not always the case.
So the only time you really get to act is when the President is absent, and Osinbanjo showed promise in Buhari's absence, and his intention to contest for Presidency is a non-tacit way of disagreeing with Buhari's administration and a chance to do things differently. It would grossly deplete him and any iota of support he could have gotten from Buhari.
Atiku has political might far more than Osinbanjo, which is why he (Atiku) had the balls to contest against Obasanjo. Do not mistake that with performance. And political might is what transpired and will always transpire at this level of selecting a flag bearer, and not credibility.
In all fairness, we all know who is a more trusting candidate between Osinbanjo and Tinubu.
Osinbanjo has been in the mix of a failed government, and for me there is no better person to know what decisions went wrong than him.

Atiku wins. Hear me out, I'm from the North, we vote along religion and ethnic lines. Tinubu is Yoruba and half Muslim. His VP will be christian. Atiku is Hausa, Fulani-kanuri and Muslims. They are both corrupt, we simply vote our own corrupt (Atiku) at least he will steal and invest it in the north. Muslim/Muslim ticket is still a defeat for tinubu.

I was sent on an errand. The house before my destination had dogs, we were always wary when passing.
This fateful day I passed, I saw the mother dog. She was resting and didn't react. On our way back (Sorry I didn't mention I had company), we thought it was business as usual, as the dog see us the next thing was... RUN.
My counterpart was obviously faster and was ahead, me wey dey back, I could feel the dog right on my heels and breathing on me.
I lost my slippers that day and going back to pick dem was a big challenge because I was scared of another chase.



But growing up I tend to realize when dogs chase children it is for fun rather than to bite or scare them, especially when they don't bark. That dog had me but didn't bite me. Me sha ran for my dear life.
