My brother, you know me well... I don't take attack on my character on this Forum to heart.. In fact, I don't even report those behind the assasination. But for a senior mod to join the conspiracy is highly despicable to say the least. It's no news that Nairaland is anti-North.. So many hate comments against the North go uncensored and the perpetrators allowed to go Scot-free, whereas, all replies from the few brave Northerners are censored and their messengers outright banned!

My brother, life is all about risk, and all risk could turn out positive or negative. If it turns positive, then you smile and move on. But if it turns negative, learn from it and also move on. That makes you a man. Living in UAE is not actually easy. Whether you have visa or not. There are alot of people staying here without visa and still feeding and also feeding family back home. From your statement, life in Nigeria has been rough, but you want to step up. I think you took a bold step. When you come in, you will understand all about the country. Don't give up your fate. You will adapt with time when you come. All you need is Grace!y advice for you is to move to the less expensive emirate like Umm Al Quwain or RAK where accommodation is cheaper compared to Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah. Just be positive within yourself and come with enough food stuffs, don't come with too much outgoing wears. If possible we try to see when you come in, I can guide you if the need be.
