Some of you ladies deserve what you get. Anyway, there comes a time in every man's life when a line is drawn between marriage or relationship and status. Once a man's status changes,it is almost natural for him to detach himself from everyone who will not match his new status, including his lover and friends. Now that is a fact every honest, made man will agree to. #Pele_dear |
WE ARE READY FOR OAU TOMORROW-NASU CHAIRMAN. Following the recent hulahu in the university, the chairman of NASU expresses the association's plans in these words,''the entire campus will vibrate to our incantations tomorrow. we have summoned the greatest spiritualists in the south-west part of Nigeria. We will arm our members with bante and abenugongo. we will send them to a journey of no return, and we will take oau for ourselves.'' Students are implored to remain in their various homes, and tune to channels tv to watch a live feed of the events. |
Imagine a big bowl of rice with a small meat. . . . . . . . . frustrating right? |
Any of those strong menthols should do. . . . but lately even aboniki does not seem to work. |
I suggest you guys work together as one big academic family. During our set as aspirants of the great citadel,we created a thread like this one,and i can remember just how well it paid off;that owes to our relationship as one big academic body. We shared lots of academic and non academic information, had fun and played games together-frequent elections were held for different posts on the thread, and awards were given to members of different sub-groups. I even met a friend, brother, roommate and mentor here(jodekss);made friends with others too. All i am saying is that i think a lot more could be acheived if you guys would work together-compared to individual effort. Best of God friends. |
The op has a point here. Most,if not all universities in Nigeria,do not offer these courses listed on a professional level. Too much attention is given to courses such as medicine, law and computer science,to mention a few. Everyone is only out defending his own course of study, but when we look on the brighter side here we realise what our nation needs is professionalism, not only as a theoretical concept but also a practical ideology,in these lines of profession. |
When you are broke they push you around like a cart wheel, but when all is sailing up the calm sea and you are about to enjoy your made moments, they begin to ask you when you will marry them. Skinky ass bitches. |
MOVING CLOUDS Stagnant fleet sailing on moving air. What are these,clot-likepairs? Forming moving shapes, appearing sky high, spreading like whitish sails, sometimes brownish pails; And parting slowly, separating into scattered pieces. And folding slowly in unison, Forming thicker pairs of white shells I watched as they parted, slowly. vanishing into oblivion; At the presence of the red sun. As night approaches like a quiet visitor. |
DEATH WISH Skimpy thoughts descending on lofty minds; Feathers descending like floating papers. Pull the arc,a crack in circumference. Let the grim reaper find you; Crosses crossed in cursed crucifixion: A custom in the regions of horror. Abetted by hungry vultures with hoarse cry- your demise is quickened at devil's feet. The waters chuckling in indifferent chatter; mocking your feeble feet. Drown in an ocean of your troubles; And watch as they fade with mocking smiles. The piccolo will play silent tunes- And the sharks to have a great feast. Naked souls in the land of silence bearing weary faces and tinted smiles- Your ushers to the city of burning fume. And here, your drowned troubles resume- landing an heavier stroke. Shackle your thoughts with iron binds, or crackle at the touch of burning strands. |
Its not him you miss, its the sex. You'll get over it. |

The a priori feature of religious doctrines cannot be observed under the inquisitiveness of our natural mind. Whatever cannot be questioned or inquired about should not serve as a basis for true knowledge. For the sole sake of knowledge and knowledge alone, I sternly assert that all that cannot be subjected to reason and factual distinction should be held tentatively, pending the availability of reasonable proof. |
I have searched beyond and ayond for that which ultimately constitutes to the evils of our world today, and during my research I found that religion is to blame for the phenomenon. The sanctimonious quality of those who are deeply rooted in religious doctrines is akin to their hypocritical nature; The vice has over the centuries plagued the philosophical nature of human erudition, marring the aesthetical characteristics of human reasoning. Speaking beyond words that are vague and devoid of meaning, I have incessantly researched(more of an observation) on the behavioural concept of religious piety,of which I have found that ignorance stands to be a phenomenon amongst religious peoples. I do not mean that religion does not have its relevance,of course it helps to regulate the jurisprudence of our native societies, but to what end? I mean that we are surrounded by thousands of religious lore and doctrines, ranging from traditional systems to civilised religious organisations, yet the world still reeks of corruption, societal class, social deformity, moral declination and so on. It surprises me that those who claim to know the way are the ones leading us to darkness, they tell us the way of faith cannot be questioned and we follow dogmatically like blind flies in moonlight. They are planted in religious doctrines yet the way to love and spiritual understanding is left arid in their hearts. To them everything is tied around principles; everything is accredited to sin. They refuse enlightenment from everything other than their stipulated laws, withdrawing into ignorance, and gradually loosing touch of reality. Extracted from Oladuke Michael Oluwatumininu's RELIGION AND CRITICAL REASONING. |
MY HEART PERSPIRES I need you to make me sane again; The moon has refused to give its light The clouds thickening in hasty fog My eyes are died with crimson I have lost all passion, and There is no fire in me to enthuse I am tired of my own philosophies Dangling around my neck like an old necklace I have no heart to call my own My heart laments in self disappointment; I am not where I wished to be And the way back to him I seem not to know I fear for my own existence Ah! I fear for my own future Wavering as darkness binds Nothing seems to purge me of my restlessness Maybe nothing could I perspire in the absence of tranquility My heart;why do you not find peace so! Everything I held uptight now seem to matter not: Maybe it never did But at least I have learnt Yet I await the peace only heaven can bring Oladuke Michael oluwatumininu |
Zoest:gotcha! |
imoleay0:thanks a whole lot. |

I think most people would agree on guilt. Pain hurts but Guilt stings, you never really get over it. |
MzPreshie:i can only pray you don't get to experience guilt. Pain can fade with time,as u learn to forgive those who hurt u,but guilt never fades because it is easier to forgive others than to forgive yourself. |
dechandel:i know the feeling ma'am. I think we all do. ![]() |
