I use both, but I use Chaka more. Although they both have same transaction fees as you stated, Chaka has more to offer at the moment.

-You can cancel your order on Chaka IMMEDIATELY in case you change your mind, but you will have to contact customer care to do the same on Trove.

-You can make direct USD deposit into your trading account on Chaka even if it's $1, but on Trove you need at least $1000(I stand to be corrected), and again you have to contact customer care for the transaction to be executed. This is very important to note particularly if you have access to your own USD because the exchange rate is now crazy due to the ongoing situation.

But for the sake of objectivity, Trove has a better interface. So now, it's time to make a choice. HAPPY INVESTING!

Can you confirm how much is Trove transaction fee? Thought I read somewhere here that they charge a transaction fee of $2 for either buying or selling of stocks. Since I am not too sure of that and I have tried reaching out to the customer service to get to speak with them. The line is not connecting. Do you have a no I can reach them on?

Please I’m new to this, which is better between Trove and Chaka, all things considered. I know their service charge for foreign transactions is about the same from google but in terms of other things, I would like to which is better.

I am sorry I don't have a clue too as I am also new to it. I have only opened an account with those three I mentioned but have not started to fund yet. Wanted to fund Chaka to start with but got to discovered that my account is still on verification. This is taking ages! Pulled a call to the customer service yesterday to find out what the position was but just for him to tell me they are waiting for cscs go generate a no. Very fustrating to me. Since I am not too sure if Trove has the same charges as Chaka, I decided to settle for Chaka which I know charges 1%. How long did it take you during the document verification process for your account to be completely verified?

I don't have bamboo. I only have Trove, Etoro and Chaka. I am trying to see the platform with the least charges. What percentage do you pay when purchasing and selling of stocks using bamboo?

I use bamboo and it take about 20hrs for the funds I transferred to their account to be processed

Looking at the Chaka snap shot I uploaded, it's showing final step for document verification. I noticed the message popped up when I attempted to make a transfer from my account. Even at that, I don't know why it has taken them so long to make their verification since I already completed the registration process since on the 12th May. Anyway, I just emailed the support to find out what's happening. Hopefully, I will hear from them today depending on how quick they are responding to complaint.

I really want to commend OakPearl, Yeryer and the rest for the great work here. You guys are really amazing! I have been reading up the thread for a while now. I have downloaded Chaka and Trove application and want to start trading.
First in all, I will like to find of if Chaka charges $1 for buying and selling of stocks only.
Secondly, can anyone recommend the stock I can buy into with a minimal amount for short term as I intend funding it now through bank transfer. Though I am looking at ACB, NIO, NEPT and GRWG.

Can anyone please advice me on what to do with like 500k lying idle in my savings acct without any Kobo added as interest(reason being that I make transactions exceeding 3x/month). Will it be a good idea to put it in my stanbic mmf or vgif with investment one. Though I don't have an account yet with investment one as I don't know if they are reliable. Your candid opinions will be highly appreciated.

I guess you should be fine with the student copy if you can have it certified at the high Court. I might be wrong anyway but I believe that should be okay since your school gave it to you.

I applied for my transcript and proficiency letter from my school. I explained in details to them why I need to have the transcript send to me. I told them I need to generate a code from uni assist and also to apply to school through uni assist with the transcript and the transcript should have uni assist address attach to it.

But the guy in charge said according to the school policy they can only send it directly to the school I am applying to in Germany.

my friend(who we are both applying to same school in Germany through uni assist) has his own original transcript and proficiency letter addressed
to uni assist with him by his own school and he told me I will need to have mine too because I need to certify it at the german embassy here in Nigeria.

When I contacted my school again they told me they can only give me a student copy and not the original one.

Please what else can I do guys as I am applying through uni assist and not to the school i choose directly.
Should l tell them to send the original copy to the embassy or my company that I work for in order to have it with me cos I was told I must have a copy my school intend to send with me also.

The student copy they intend to do for me won't have any address attach on it, will it be acceptable if I decide to certify it?

My cousin was denied a visa this morning and he will like to reschedule for an emergency appointment since his school starts orientation for international students on the 6th while the main program starts on the 15th August. Please for those that don't understand my post 150k is for complete documentation and not visa guarantee. If you want visa guarantee there is a negotiation for that. 150k I'd to put together all the documents needed to be submitted. Documents include legalization of all documents at ministry of foreign affairs, authentication at ministry of education, sponsorship affidavit from high court, translation of documents to Ukrainian language, medical check up, travel insurance, guidance on how to get bank statement, filling of applications form, and guidance during submission. Please this is not visa guarantee. Visa guarantee has a different arrangement. For those of you that think 150k is visa guarantee please don't contact me it's not possible with that amount. You could buy the ticket then when you gets to Ukraine you would resell it to some Nigerians coming home for summer. so many would be coming home for summer just sell it to them when you get there.

Why not! Its better you have over document than submitting under document. You are good to go but make sure you have sufficient cash in your account in millions.

There is no big deal with the application. The interview is a kind of interactions. Provide the documents as outlined in the lists from the German consulate website. It just basic questions about your work, where you are going to, your family etc. Anyway, have had a successful interview twice. The second one was two weeks ago and had a multiple visa to spend 90 days of six(6) months.

Hello Oga Bellong,Udz and everyone in the house. Please I have a concern and would like to seek advise from the experts. I am 39 years but will be 40 next February. I have an HND in Electrical Electronics Engineering. I sent a mail to EA if they could assess my HND and came with a positive reply that they can, provided I have ND as a prerequisite. Now, my question are:

1. If I quickly do the assessment, will I be able to get the 25 POINTS for the age before I clock 40 next year?
2. EA talks about CDR. Am I under any obligation to to CDR and what is/are the likely consequence of not doing CDR.

I will be glad to hear from my ogas in due course.

Electrician...... TRA.

Study requirements of the two bodies to know which one you think will be easier for you. Also check the job descriptions of both.

Your age isn't a prob... Is your upper credit in HND or ND? If its the former you will definetly get an offer for a bsc prog... PGDs aint common in Germany... The minimum requirements for masters is a bachelors degree... Use www.daad.de for your search... Other ogas go contribute... Cheers.
