My car consumes too much fuel, I'm afraid of taking it out this days. My mechanic have tried a lot of things but no solution in sight. Which test should be carried out?

As for me I use Toyota Carina 2, and its smoking. So I'm considering ringing it.

Volkswagen passat swapped with Volkswagen golf 3

I'm considering buying a car with a swapped engine, so I'm seeking advice from professionals here in NL.
For example, I've seen a Volkswagen passat (2.5L, V6) being swapped with a Volkswagen golf 3 (1.6L). What are the advantages and disadvantages?
To me I think the weight of the Passat would drag the small golf 3 engine, making it to work harder, thereby making it to consume more fuel than normal.
Please I would really appreciate professional advice and experiences.

If it is the 1.6 or 1.8L 4 cylinder engine, it's ok I have come across the xedos been used as taxi before. The 1.8L is fitted into other cars too that are more common and recent than the 1.6L.

It was a V6, 2.0 engine, so I thought would not be fuel efficient for commercial use, so I didn't buy.

I've been searching for a used car for some time now. I've come across this Mazda Xedos 6, so I'm wandering whether it's a strong car. Does it have good fuel economy? I hardly see this Mazda model around. Anyone with experience about this car

i will answer your question with logic as all fingers arent equal and i believe if there was cash you did buy something better.

if this car is Nigerian used please stay far away no matter how cheap they come, it is on extra time and extra time means it can pack-up in a twinkle of an eye, the parts will fail often that means more visit to the mechanic, the engine will even be smoking as 20W50 is the only oil this car has known.

let me know your budget and see if i can recommend cheap cars within the said budget. If you have further questions feel free to ask.

I live in one of the suburbs of the FCT, Abuja. (Kubwa axis) . I usually pay my bills and I've not been disconnected before. So when the officials of Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) paid me a visit this morning (15/12/2016), I greeted them warmly, since I've already paid for November.
When they asked for the November bill, I confidently showed it to them. But to my surprise, they say they are disconnecting for December. I thought it was a joke. I told them they just brought the December bill on Monday 12/12/2016. All attempt to persuade them not to disconnect me fell on deaf ears. My questions : is it proper for AEDC to bill us arbitrarily? Is it proper for us to pay before service? What do they use in determining what we would consume? Do people receive their salary mid month? Who else have experience something like this? Please share your experience.
