They are easy to come by in Abuja here, but they are not attractive to me. I prefer the American specs - 2012-2014. They are more beautiful and are ubiquitous
|
The engine is still available |
It took them over 6 years to produce ID cards. They sent me text message on November 2018. The first day I went I couldn't collect because of network issues. I was able to collect it on March 2019, 6 Years after. I however noticed that it will expire on 2023. So funny |
I bought a new engine for my Nissan Almera Hatchback 1998 on June 2018. The car was hit from behind last month (November). I don't want to repair and use the car anymore, so I want to sell the engine. If you live in Abuja or it's environs and are looking for a very sound Engine for your Nissan almera, PRIMERA or Sunny, call 08062444096. You will need to drop your bad Engine for me.

torres89:Thanks, but please I don't know what an electronic cleaner is. Where can I get it, and for how much? |
Please experts / gurus, my car's Mass Airflow sensor (MAF) popularly called Airflow Meter needs to be cleaned, so my mechanic has told me that injector cleaner would be used for it. Please is it right to use injector cleaner for MAF? Who have experience on this please share

They are doing well by the grace of God |
I have finally come to terms with the fact that I was actually defrauded at the most pressing moment in my life. I live in Abuja, along Kubwa axis. Couple of weeks ago, my wife delivered a bouncing baby girl - our first - through C - section. It was a thing of joy. But the money I had with me wasn't enough to offset the medical bills. I'm not the type that bother people with my problems, but at this point, I was forced to swallow my pride. So I made efforts to raise money so I can take my wife and baby home. A good friend of mine who lives in Gwarinpa offered to assist me with 30k. He asked me to come very early as he will leave early for work. That fateful day, I was in his house as early as possible. Thankfully, he didn't disappoint. I was so, so happy. On my way back, along the expressway, I stopped a carb, a ash colored Nissan Almera. There were 3 men at the back seat, 1 person in the front seat, plus the driver. I innocently entered the vehicle not knowing that danger was looming. As I just entered the vehicle, the man that sat close to me started complaining that the car is too tight for 4 of us, he was raising his body and legs, that it's too tight for him to seat. The driver begged me to come to the front, that the other man in front will drop at the next junction. On getting to the front, the driver was complaining that the other man was seating on his gear selector, and as such would not be able to select the gear. The man at the back seat was pretending to be helping us close the front door, but the door refused to close . The driver then asked me to go down because other passengers were complaining that he was wasting their time. As I just stepped my foot on the ground, the driver zoomed with the speed of light. I checked my pocket, the money was gone! In my whole life, I've never been so shocked, to the point that I became dumb. The money in question is not big in a normal day, but given the situation I'm in right now, its like I've lost billions. It's really painful. Every day, I keep thinking about what I should have done better. Hope sharing this experience will help someone avoid falling Into the hands of these evil and accursed men. |
As soon as you notice your Check Engine light, poor gas mileage, or an irregular engine idle, book a service online 24/7 at AutoFactorNG to have your oxygen sensor replaced. This will ensure your vehicle is running smoothly and prolong the life of your engine.[/quote]How much does it cost to change / replace oxygen sensor? Are 02 sensor vehicle specific? |
My car have been gulping too much fuel. My mechanic have tried different things - the spark plugs Changed, injector serviced, nozzles replaced etc - yet no solution. So I decided to do some research. I've decided to share this because Someone in my shoes would need this info. Symptoms of a Bad or Failing Oxygen Sensor Common signs of a faulty car oxygen sensor include the Check Engine Light coming on, bad gas mileage, and a rough idle. The oxygen sensor in your vehicle measures oxygen levels in the exhaust gases exiting the engine. This information is used by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to determine the correct air to fuel ratio for your engine in real time. The sensor is located in the exhaust system and allows the fuel injection and engine timing to work efficiently, which assists with emissions control. The oxygen sensor transmits the data to the vehicle’s PCM to maintain the optimal air to fuel ratio for your engine. A bad or failing oxygen sensor will have a negative impact on environmental emissions and engine performance, so there are a few things to watch out for before your oxygen sensor completely fails. 1. Check Engine Light comes on The first line of defense is the Check Engine Light. The Check Engine Light will illuminate if you have a bad or failing oxygen sensor. As soon as this light comes on, contact a professional automotive technician for a Check Engine Light inspection. This light can come on for many different reasons, so it is important to have it looked at by a professional who can correctly diagnose the exact cause. If you have high a mileage vehicle, there's a good chance it has a bad oxygen sensor that needs to be replaced. 2. Bad gas mileage If the oxygen sensor is going bad, the fuel-delivery and fuel-combustion systems will be thrown off. If a bad oxygen sensor disrupts the air to fuel ratio mixture, or too much fuel is injected into the engine, your vehicle's gas mileage will be reduced. If you find that you are filling up your gas tank more often, keep a record of how many gallons you fill up with and how often. If it is more than normal, have a professional mechanic check out your oxygen sensor. 3. Rough engine idle and misfires As your oxygen sensor is going bad you may notice your vehicle is running rough, misfiring or running irregularly while idling. Since the oxygen sensor output helps control engine timing, combustion intervals, and the air to fuel ratio, a bad sensor can disrupt these engine functions, causing a rough or irregular engine idle. When to replace the sensor If your vehicle was manufactured within the past 15 years, the oxygen sensor should be replaced every 60,000 to 90,000 miles. This sensor is a wear item and does fail over time. Replacement of a bad or failing oxygen sensor will reduce the level of emissions your vehicle puts into the atmosphere, while keeping your engine running smoothly and properly. As soon as you notice your Check Engine Light, poor gas mileage, or an irregular engine idle, book a service with YourMechanic to have your oxygen sensor replaced. This will ensure your vehicle is running smoothly and efficiently, and will help prolong the life of your engine.

timifakay:I don't know of the year of manufacture. But it's automatic transmission |
SmartChoices:Its Toyota Carina 2. I've changed the spark plugs, serviced the injector, change the nozzles. My mechanic told me that there is no catalytic converter in the exhaust, I don't know whether that's the reason |
SmartChoices:Please how do one know if the oxygen sensor is bad |
In Nigeria, due to bad road conditions, repairing the car legs (the joints, thyroid, shock absorbers etc) will top the list. Meanwhile my car consumes too much fuel. I've tried many things but its not getting any better |
