An Ikorodu High Court, Lagos State, presided by Honourable Justice A. F. Fokanu had on July 13, 2021 delivered judgment in favour of the Claimants, Odushoga Olatufewa Ajigbokun Descendants Family, in suit IKD/2948LM/2020, in respect of the land at Maya-Nla village, along Maya – Ajegunle Road, off Ikorodu-Itoikin Road, Ikorodu Local Government, Lagos State.

Barrister Qudus Lawal, Counsel to the Claimants, said, “The Maya-Nla land situate at Maya-Ajegunle, off Ikorodu-Itoikin Road, isa family land belonging to the Odushoga Olatufewa Ajigbokun descendants family, which has been confirmed by the court.

“Odushoga Olatufewa Ajigbokun is the ancestors of the claimant family who was the first person to settle on the landed property in the present location, and the High Court of Lagos in the Ikorodu Judicial Division Holden at Court 2, presided by Honourable Justice A. F. Fokanu gave judgment in favour of the family,” Qudus added.

He also averred that the court had on January 21, 2022 granted the family leave to execute judgment of the court and issue warrant of possession against all persons occupying the parcel of land, and the family had with court sheriffs on Friday 27, May 2022, gone to the land to execute the judgment as ordered by the court.
