the checklist u submitted along with your application, was it the one sent to you by VFS or the checklist on DIAC site and the $585.was it the amount you wrote on the last page of the form as visa charge or did you convert it to AUD?

lawland: . You will understand what I mean when the time comes to make payments, meet the requirement, have your qualification approved and waiting for your visa to be approved.. Waiting for invitation alone is a psychological stress and don't even think Nigeria is the only country applying for it... Go to expaforum and you will understand what I am talking about.. I will only advise you to be realistic and make a workable plan and stick to it.. You have only heard about people positive stories here, you haven't heard the negative ones and mind you that any money paid is not refundable.. I wish you best of luck my brother...

ferdimako plans has always been study/pr and he has always been realistic about it
both of his plans works hand in hand and i'm sure he choose November for personal reasons best known to him

lawland: These is a general advice..... If you planning to study in Australia, chose a regional location.. This will benefit you right from your Visa processing to PR application.. Avoid states like Queensland, Victoria and NSW...

surveyor1: No. There is no problem because the embassy will only consider the bank account you presented not the one you paid your tuition fee with since they have see the COE.

jennykadry: The listening and speaking are the two easiest part especially speaking. You will be fine, I used to be friends with an IELTS official and he told me that
They could care less if what you said made sense during your speaking test as they re only watching out for how well you speak and how much of what you have said they are able to get (accent and all).....and how they hate it when the candidates pauses for more than 5 secs or making weird sounds like ....."hummm, ya, hmmm, etc.

I wrote IELTS at ECU when I wanted to study overseas for a year sometime ago, there was nothing like a head set, a casette player was all they used.

@everg,ur course is under tafe. Vocational educational training. I don't think u will be eligible for what u asked. Since ur visa will reflect that. 20hrs per week is what I knw. Let d experts answer this guy o. Lol.
