Please I checked page 1 and saw that OND and HND are calculated as 2 degrees. Is this real? Or it has to be one of those and bsc |

Milllz: It’s PPR!!!!!!
s a federal hospital, they didn’t give us payslips and they had a generic reference letter they refused to amend to IRCC format. I just submitted my offer of employment and the supposed reference letter. Luckily, the offer of employment had my salary, job conditions and start date while the other letter had just duration and a brief job description. Another headache. I submitted them like that. (I should have added a letter from my supervisors to help me sleep better at night)
Mediclas: Children’s practice. It was pretty smooth.
Siblings: I claimed siblings points, my sister was well settled a few months earlier, so I attached everything I could get my hands on. But it was very complete.
Schedule A: I have a virgin passport and about 4 US visa rejections. It should be 5, I didn’t get past the gate on one occasion because of a mistake . All were blue letters though, no misrepresentation or anything. Those people just hated my guts . So I just respected myself and jejely attached the schedule A form and explained in the LOE.
I had an issue with my name, I always use my 4 names in all my documents, with two of the names separated with a hyphen. But my birth certificate was missing one of the names and I had to add it to claim siblings point. I had done an affidavit, but for some reason I decided not to attach it at the last minute. Another sleepless night because I was so tempted to raise a CSE and attach it, but I decided to relax. When I ordered my gcms notes, I realized an officer had a little issue with it but with the hyphen in my name being absent in another document. (Please just attach the affidavit of name change to avoid stories.)
CRS Score: 456. Should have been 470s but CIC didn’t give me professional points. I followed some people’s advice that I’d be given professional degree points because of my degree irrespective of what my ECA says. It’s a lie.
ITA: 22nd August 2018 AOR: 10th September 2018. MED passed/ BIL: 4th October. Biometrics submitted: 8th October VO- Ottawa
Then the wait started.
Biometrics completed: 14th February, 2019. My biometrics just completed this week, we were a lot that had this issue and initially thought it was an issue but to God be the glory. The only thing that changed in my status was medical. I had raised several CSEs, emailed Ralph and called once.
Ghost update on the 4th of January. Ordered gcms notes on the 12th of December, received on the 15th January, 2019. Apart from the name, every other thing was fine. Just Criminality had been passed.
February 14th, got another ghost update, raised another CSE and I was replied the day after that a decision had been made.
PPR mail: February 16th, 3:56am (dated 15th)
Thanks to a lot of people who helped me, shared in my worries, adviced me. It has ended in praise, yours will too. Congratulations. I can’t wait to send my own PPR song. E go full this page |

olajide21: As expected I missed my connecting flight to Calgary. We were re-booked FoC. Though some of our bags were over the allowable weight, ET allowed us to pass and AC did not even re-weigh them.
Still at Pearson awaiting flight to Calgary.
Seeing/touching Canadian Dollar for the first time. Ha! I feel like I’m already in Canada Oh God. I pray thee favor on my file in Jesus Name. Amen |

Godisincontrol: What are you actually applying for? Express entry immigration. A friend sent me her friend’s reference and I used the address on it on all my documents. The address is below: Citizenship and immigration Canada (CIC) Manor Hall, Plot 110, Admiral Ayinla Way, Opposite Treasure garden estate, Third roundabout, Lekki Phase1, Lagos. The friend is in Canada but I’m just worried. |

Please somebody help me. I didn’t discover this thread until I had submitted. Mimi1999: Good morning guys. I am having sleepless nights wit my application. This is because my reference letter from one of my employers doesn’t have any email address to be contacted just phone numbers. This same employer didn’t give any pay slips or offer letter for the duration I was there. So I only submitted the letter with just letter head, stamp, signature and nothing else. I am worried it may delay my processing. I recently thought of printing my statement of account for the last 3months and sending to IRCC as well as his personal email address but I don’t know how to go about it. Also, my letters all had a Nigerian Canadian address in Lekki. I suspect it’s the vfs office. Please, any ideas? Everything else checks. AOR IS DECEMBER 31st. |

Run! Sorry! Flee! I had 2 opportunities to relocate to Dubai as a registered pharmacist, I turned it down because of man. The man has relocated to Abu Dhabi working for an oil and gas firm as an engineer and making big bucks. He blocked my number before leaving and no! I didn't do anything to deserve it. All that was in 2017. Now I am praying to leave for Canada before the end of March. You better pack your bags and not let devil use woman yo set you up. Bye! Terrorism: Hi everyone, I have been a Nairalander for over 9 Years now and I have gained immensely from this forum, thank you so much for making nairaland fun.
I am a man in my early 20's, I am into cinematography and video editing, I all also a staff of a global Christian missionary University with over a thousand locations around the world, God has been good to me this year, even though there are times of lows, but God redeemed me,now here is my the challenge I am facing right now.
I am a diploma holder in mass communication,I offer my cinematography services to a church as a part time staff in Lagos, the job requires me to be present during the 2 church service times in a week and 1 extra day for not more than 2 hours, translating to me being present 3 times in a week, the pay, which is 40k,to me, is averagely okay for the job as #500 takes me to the church and back, from where I live, additionally,I also freelance and work for various other media houses, I have been offered employment by some but I am not into this everyday Job thing where I will be insulted, so I prefer to be my own boss,I stay alone on the Island in a relatively good area, I also work with a big missionary organization with over 1000 locations, which affords me to staff in any of their locations of my choice around the world, last year,I felt it in my spirit to go to the German location of the organization and work there,by the way,the work is completely voluntary,no pay is offered, you just have to give 5 hours of your time to the work and can take as much day off as you want, I applied and did every process required of me and I have been sent an invite, fastfoward to late 2018,I began to feel like staying back in Nigeria and starting up a business of my own,I am thinking about poultry business for now, then I met this cacausian lady I really do love, and she does love me too,we see a future together and most tines, share jokes about how we will live after marriage, she was offered an admission in another state after waiting for years for it but she is reluctant to take it as it will take her far away from me even tho I have promised to visit her often, she is bent on staying back in Lagos.
Now,meeting this lady has also influenced the urge to stay back and start up something in Nigeria, but I also really feel like the grass will be greener over there as I have been told by friends over there, that IT and any technical experience pays well there as there are opportunities.
Please help me,should I stay back or should I leave?
I am scheduled to leave in June 2019,please ignore any typo or errors. |
