The Wait
This was horrendous and painful especially when people who submitted same time or after I did started landing in Canada. I started following this thread in Part 2, submitted in Part 6 and was hoping and praying that my wait won't be this long but here I am in Part 9 sharing my testimony. So if you're like me and the wait is getting to you, don't be sad it'll come.

Congrats @pejuhazel. At long last.

Good day.
Please has anyone here used Qatar or Emirates to travel to Calgary before? How was it? Are there restrictions with regards food items that can be carried on and checked in different from others?
I got a very good deal and thought to let ET and Lufthansa rest for a bit.
Thanks!

.

BCS proved very useful for me. I wrote in March and got my certificate in June. It also improved my CRS point. Since I am above the age threshold, I am still writting IELTS hoping to get the highest CLB.
My point is, try to write BCS exams. It is IT based but very easy to pass if you use a tutor since I did not have an IT background. I am a graduate of Library and Archival Studies.
If you need further advice, you can contact me or visit their website.

Hello
Good day. I have sent you a mail and yet to get a response. I am trying to get information about BCS.
Thank you

Good morning all. Please I need your candid advice .

Am planning to move to Canada next year. In using EE I have used CRS calculator to calculate my point and I have up to the point that qualify me to get ITA. The problem to start the process by myself is POF. For now all my life savings is not up to the required POF.

In addition to this, there is a pastor I know and in the process of conversation I told him about my plan and he said his not an agent but he can help me out to get to Canada. He as helped one guy in the church to migrate to canny. This man said I should bring 800k for the whole process. This man lived in Europe before he came back to Nigeria.

Please I need your good advice on which part to follow.

Brethren, please save your money and heart the pain that come with such. What if you get banned? The devil is trying to play kalo kalo with your destiny through Oga pastor. Have you Asked any of your family or friends to assist? You never can tell where help could come from.
Whatever you do, don’t give pastor your money.

God has indeed been merciful. I did my ECA with ICES, only for them to tell me they are unable to verify my result from uniport after 10weeks, I bombarded them to refund my money so I can go through WES, God being so kind, they wrote back and inform me that they will go out of their way to verify my result through another Nigerian institution because I hold a doctorate degree. I sent them a mail praying for them and blessing them. Then my village people struck again. When the ECA came, it was PhD in Environmental science rather than PhD in Economics! Its like I praised them too much.

Hahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahhaha
Hahahahahahahhahahahahahah.
Thanks. I laughed so hard
And congratulations.
More wins for you

Just call back. It’s not out of the ordinary for calls to get disconnected.

You don’t get. I called and was told they stopped attending to PR matters over the phone.

Hmm.. You asked this same question about a month ago (see here) and I gave you the steps.
Are you having troubles calling?

I tried calling and was told that I won't be connected and that I could only send emails. Did I call too much and got blocked or its a general thing?

Guys, I got the Golden mail on Saturday morning

The Lord has been merciful unto me
ITA: Feb 20
AOR: March 7
Bil: April 25
PPR: 24 August

The Wait.
The wait was something else. I have never been that anxious all my life. I order GCMS note and received it on the 17th of July only Criminality and Medicals passed, Eligibility and Security not yet started. I call IRCC 5-6 times, the Last call was 14 August and status was eligibility and security still not started. I gave up after the last call that PPR is not coming anytime soon, only to receive the golden mail mid night 24-08-19.

Congratulations. Did you say you called them as at 14th of August? Does it mean i have been barred? Because I tried calling a few times and was told I could no longer communicate via Phone. Hahahahahahahahah

I've been reading for Cima but haven't registered yet. Should I write the Cima or wait for my pgd ?.Am worried because I don't know how long this Express entry is going to be on.Am Also yet to write Ielts. The Age is 27. Please forget cima since PGD is already in progress. You are still so young. Concentrate on ielts and getting proof of funds and other documents.

It is well. My application just crossed 12 months on the 26 July 2019.

I passed medicals on the 10 August 2018 and all has been silent on my application since then.

Two days ago, my application updated to "background check started" and I received a request to do another medicals.

The wait has been killing and no specific response from the web form. Nothing new on GCMS.

Has anyone experienced this or is this my village people at work.

When was the last time you called them?
What’s your visa office?
Have you mailed Ralph?

It took 5months to get the report. They have so many documents to evaluate that the 8 weeks does not follow. Sorry...but you have to wear patience like a robe.
Wow!
Mine took 10 weeks and I was so vexed. This was September to November last year.

Congratulations! However, I am willing to bet you didn't write your IELTS in Nigeria. If you had written it here, you would have had 997.56 just so they can get another £170 from you. Correct me if I'm wrong and you actually wrote it in Nigeria.

Liesss!!!!
I wrote and passed my first attempt with less than a week to prepare as I thought it was a walk in the park.

Hmmm. It's like my ancestors want me to remain team 9ja.
Got fed up with this country and my quest to get out with my wife and kid was born, did a little research and found Canada to be the dream place, and I also found this thread, asked questions and was given answers but when I discovered what it will take me as a pharmacist and the numerous exams, I threw in the towel even before I started.

Register a premise and use the money for your ECA. The rest will come one way or the other.
All the best.

If you think PEBC ECA is too expensive; although I do not know the cost, you can use WES for ECA. Then you proceed to do PEBC evaluation when you land in Canny if you are really keen on practising.

Don’t try it o. Your application may be rejected or delayed. My former classmate used WES and was asked for ADR because WES evaluates Pharmacy and some others as just Bachelors so she lost points and didn’t have required score as at her draw. Lucky her, she only had to get PEBC ECA result which took 2 months to complete before her file was touched again. That cost her double money and time wasted.
I know it’s expensive but my dear, it’s worth it.
