horllamy:Thanks for the reply. But the screen is not broken. Sometimes when I power it on, it comes up normally but after a while, it goes dim again. |
Hello Engineers in the house. I have a problem with my laptop. Its a G40 Lenovo Laptop. The screen went dim and I cant see anything except when when I shine light on the surname and then look very closely. Pls someone with idea on what I can do should pls help. Or if you have had any similar issue... How did you solve the Problem. Thanks |
First, we have to realise that the word of God is inerrant. This means it is without errors or contradictions. Any contradictions we encounter then must be as a result of misinterpretation or misunderstanding. If you truly believe the inerrancy of the scriptures, you will not argue it. The Bible has records of people's good deeds and bad deeds. When Peter betrayed Christ, it was recorded. When he revealed Christ, it was also recorded. Now, you see, this is because the Bible is a honest book. Think about it like this, suppose you are a bible character, and the events of your life are to be canonised, both the good deeds and your bad deeds would be recorded. But does that license the readers of your account to commit the errors you committed which was overlooked? Certainly not. Now, this is my point. Abraham had been called of God to come out of his native land, just like we have been called out of our sins. But he still wasn't getting it right in terms of his relationship with God. The Bible recorded him lying and even bedding his wife's maid. All these he did. To show God's rebuke for his former style of life, God said to him in Genesis 17:1, ' Walk before me and be perfect Abraham'. As far as God was concerned, he hasn't measured up to the standard. And so God was telling him to leave those his self efforts and come up higher to a point where he could relate with God more intimately. After that Genesis 17, we never read about Abraham lying again. What we see is a man who can now speak to God as a friend. In the case of Rahab, she had never been a Jew. But she had faith in the God of the Jew, that when the opportunity came, she lied. That lie is symbolic. It was a lie to deny. She was denying her allegiance to the land where she had lived and done all sorts of atrocities. She was smart enough to think this way. What would she have gained if she didn't. She immediately asked that she be accepted when the Jews come to destroy the land. You too, what have you denied yourself of in order to gain eternal life. If you have known Christ, why would you have to lie to protect yourself. Is the Christ you serve unable to save you? It is your faith in Him that will make you bold for Him. That simple lie you tell in the face of difficulty can be a denial of Christ that you represent. #SinisSin. #NoGodlySin Thank you! |
ResponsibleThug:Oh really. Thanks a lot. I will check out for one around me. |

A private lesson teacher has a lot to do. I have been a private lesson teacher for some time now and I must confess there's so much to put in. I change my method of teaching depending on the need of the child. For the first week I try to understand the weak parts of the student. If he is doing bad in some topics, then I begin by picking those topics one by one until he has grabbed it all. But if I discover that the child is very poor say in that subject. Then I begin from the basics which will help bring him up as soon as possible. I will leave him with assignments which must be completed before my next visit. We discuss the solutions and then move on to the day's work. This has really helped to bring up my students and pupils as quickly as possible. And once this is achieved we run through a period of intensive learning to further solidify the concepts and basics which he it she needs. Then we move on to regular academic works which is same as what he does at school This really help to make him match up with his mates at school and sometimes beat the very brilliant ones in his class. But I must say that it will depend on the child. Usually within a school term we have covered the basics for the ones with very weak backgrounds. However, for the very brilliant ones, my method is to take them through regular school works in sequential order and within a few weeks they'd become very grounded in the topics treated. The problem with school curriculum is the order of arrangement. They are poorly planned and it eventually leaves these pupils and students confused. This has been my approach so far and I must say , the results have been impressive as my parents get surprised to see their wards doing well in difficult subjects that have been a concern to them. |

Pls everyone. I need you to guide me on the right career path to go. I love and studied Mathematics from a good university in Nigeria. However, I was not able to finish with a very good grade (first class) as I wanted though I made a good 2.1. While studying I was also working to pay my bills at school. I must confess, Maths is great. And I'm willing to take a career in it. I want to go for my Masters but the challenge I'm having is knowing which area to focus on. I really want a branch of Mathematics where I can be very relevant and where the prospects are brighter. Right now I'm considering the following areas: Operation Research or Algebra though I'm aware that there are other branches that I may not have heard. Pls house can you guide me? Also which schools do you recommend? I don't mind if you can help with any scholarship opportunities abroad that can be available to me. Thank you all!! cc: @tanimola22, nitrogen and others. |
