If you have the knowledge and skills that can get you a better life in countries that offers a higher quality of life...go for it. I earned $$$ while in Nigeria and still relocated out of Nigeria, earning more, the best decision ever. |

Brendaniel: The funny thing is sometimes these things can be sttled with smaller amount of money at the initial stage, but somehow their management sometimes start acting stubborn, before you know some lawyer activist will pick it up and start supporting the person and boom, they are paying hundreds of millions..
Imagine if they approached her with like 50 million and tell her based on their records and calculations, and if she is unwilling she can head to court, it is very likely she may have accepted and let things go. She and her legal team actually requested for N50m but Airtel ignored them. |

ultraviolet27: so they even earn up to 800k in a month and you still refer that to as peanut? even their teachers who made them in secondary schools never even earned up to that in a year Omo Teachers just come this world come suffer! funny enough even if they jakpa I don't think they will end up earning 800k after all the tax deductions any doctor who wants to jakpa is free though, they were never in it for the passion and humanity before only for the money the last set of Doctors who are passionate in their job died in the late 70's
How much did they even spend in the institutions to acquire their medical certificates? You are joking, right? I am a Clinical Practitioner, working for a borough (local government) here in Central London, 36hrs a week. My net monthly pay is many times that N800K. |

Putindbutt: Must everybody become a doctor?, why didn't you also come to my field?.
How many times has the President told you he went abroad for medical?. Most times, it's even doctors themselves that refer you abroad. Everyone will not become a doctor and Nigerian doctors should be well paid for the skills and services they bring to tablet not the peanuts they are being paid while politicians get hugely paid for being incompetent. A doctor earning N800K in a calendar month, is just peanuts and Nigeria will continue to lose healthcare practitioners to foreign countries. |
