Nigerian sportmen and women, taking up other country's citizenship to further their careers is well justified.

Be assertive and DRAW THE LINE.

You have no business giving her your used joggers nor buying her a new one, such conversation is inappropriate as it should be with her husband.

UK works better for those with real skills that are in demand.

I am a permanent staff with a London borough (local government council) in central London as a professional in children services and the opportunities I have, I can never get it in Nigeria, in the next 20 years.
Travel › Re: Japa Reality Check: Why Nigeria’s Graduates End Up As Care Workers In The Uk by Mindlog: 9:07pm On Jun 24, 2025
Many who came to the UK through the study route, did not research well and many of them ended up with some care jobs where they are being exploited in exchange for certificates of sponsorship, they also paid for after graduation.

Was in a bus yesterday morning on my way to work, sat beside another Nigerian and we got talking. He shared he came this February and attending a University here in London while his wife and kids are back home in Nigeria.

I asked him the course he was studying and the fees, he said international business management and tuition is £18,000....he is yet to earn up to £1,000 from part time work since his arrival in the UK and presently jobless.

By the time I got off the bus at London bridge, the guy realized he is wasting resources on a worthless Masters.

Same certificate you can declare missing and swear an affidavit to it.😂😂😂

A lot of gaps in the story.

If the story is true, resilience is far from the guy and should be back in Nigeria by now.

I wish you people were men, then you'll understand. While you're out there trying to stack up so your family is secured, your family other key component besides you is drilling pipes
You can "stack up" for your family and still visit your home to see your family, more frequently. By the way, I have lived in Countries and seen where Nigerian married men who are "stacking up' for their families in Nigeria, are living with their side chicks in those Countries.

The guy in the story if true, suddenly had the funds and immigration status to travel back to Nigeria because he heard of pregnancy.

E don happen, e don happen....the best he can do is end the marriage.

The man being unfaithful abroad isn’t a reason for the woman to be unfaithful while the husband was away
Is she carved out of wood and expected not to get sexually aroused?

The guy in the story if true, suddenly had the funds and immigration status to travel back to Nigeria because he heard of pregnancy.

If that marriage ends, the man still has to be making provisions for his 2 biological children while they remain with their mother.

He was convicted on an 18 count charge and the sentences will run concurrently, which means he may not serve up to 6 years in prison, depending on the charge that have the highest jail term.
I know it runs concurrently, he will likely be killed in the prison by fellow inmates.

That right there is failed parenting. If the child should stretch his hands for a shake, I will pointedly ignore it. I'm conservative like that.

I don't know what all these 21st century parents are teaching their children.
How many you go ignore....children and teenagers dey stretch hands to greet, na normal, normal for them...with time you go collect the handshake.😂😂😂😂

I passed by one of them two days ago and asked her "how are you?". She had the temerity to answer "good day".

I looked at her askance. Just negodu this kid o. Fine, she's in her mid-twenties but she's still a kid to me. Wtf
I guess if you find yourself in Nairobi, Kenya and you see a 5 year old walk up to you and stretches his/her hand for a handshake, asking you "how are you".....u go feel like drilling the kid into the ground!😂😂😳😂

Please read to comprehend, Akpabio etc...
There is nothing like "Federal Government officers"....Akpabio is the Senate President, if he feels anyone defamed him, he sues the individual or group. It is not the responsibility the Federal Government to sue on his behalf.....once. again on what ground, is the Federal Government suing on behalf of Yahaya Bello?
