INTRODUCTION:
Leadership is one of the most misunderstood words in this universe. Because virtually every one of us under the sun believes he knows what leadership means and also what it is all about. I always place LEADERSHIP and LOVE at the same bag because love like leadership means different thing to different people. These two words are like that proverbial elephant felt by six blind men.
These six men have different thing this elephant mean to them all based on which part of the elephant they were able to lay hold on. Many time people say what they fill or think about leadership or love all based on their own “private” experience or experience of someone they assume they know very well.
What I have done over the years anytime I am invited to speak on LOVE is to first tell my audience that love is not a noun but a verb, I also dare tell them that love is not a place but a journey without destination. You know this always sound ridiculous to my audience especially the young ones who think they have arrived because they have found the “love” of their life.
Most shockingly to me, recently I also discovered that Leadership is not also a noun but a verb and leadership is not a place but also a journey without destination. Because I have found out that leadership is not about “just” what you do but a combination of who you are and what you do.

I go to an Endtime Bible believing church. I'm ok with every of their teachings. But I discovered that there is no iota of love and devotion in them. They preach the right WORD but no love for people. I need to leave there and go to where I will grow all round while running the race.

My advise to you might be strange but I will still say it anyway. Please don't leave that church. If the word of God there is good and sound. But i think God wants to use you to bring a change in the way they love.

What I am saying is stay there and teach them what love means. Because if you ho to another one, you will also discover their flaws. Any church that is been attended by human beings has its peculiar challenge.
Stay where you are and let your light of love overwhelm their lack of love

any times we tend to miss the answer to our prayers because of the little distractions that always occur between the time of our request and the answer to our prayers.
I won't actually blame anyone that misses it at that point because it is not always easy to wait. But experience has taught me that anytime we present our needs to God and God assures us of His positive response to our needs, it is worth it for us to wait.
God through His Spirit made me to understand that we always fall out because of distractions that we see when He is on His way to give us what we have requested for.
Let us take a look at Mark 5:21-42.
This is a story we all know very well. It about Jairus a leader of a synagogue.

HIS REQUEST:
Jairus came to Jesus Christ and requested that Jesus Christ follow him to his house to lay his hand upon his 12years old sick daughter. Of which Jesus obliged him.

I know that you who is reading this post or writeup has made many requests to God in the time past. I am sure that some of you just finished making a request to God few minutes ago before you started reading this. The way Jesus agreed to go with Jairus to his house is how He has agreed to meet you at the point of your need. In Jesus name. Amen.
Many of us always shout amen and jump up when a declaration is made upon our head from the pulpit in response to our prayer and heart desire. But soon we tend to become melancholic when we have not seen what we shouted hallelujah and amen for.
Our attitude at times makes it look as if God has lied or if the person whom He used to make that pronouncement is lying. But the truth is that God does not lie and the person whom God used to make that pronouncement didn't also lie.
The simple thing that happen is that the space between the time of our request and our actual receiving of our request is always filled with distractions. At that point we always lose focus.

BACK TO JAIRUS:

Success belongs to that person that understands how to do. I mean that person that knows how to take the bull by the horn without wasting anytime at all. That person that understands how to do what should be done and is ready to do it NOW. That person who does not put things off in the name of NEXT TIME. Because from my own findings I have discovered that there is nothing that keeps a person down at a spot than “I will do it tomorrow or the next day.” It is called procrastination. Procrastination drains our ability to succeed. Because it keeps us from doing what needs to be done, when it is supposed to be done. A wise man said “procrastination is a thief of time.” And this is very true. Procrastination stole the time of many parents. It stole the time of many people who are roaming our streets and path ways, begging for alms. And it is still stealing the time of so many young people today.
When I look around and see old men who are engaged in things like truck pushing, Motor cycle riding (Okada) or who act as gate men and other hard and tedious jobs, I always ask myself; why are they doing this now? Is it because they were once well-to-do but situation turned around and things became bad or is it because they fail to do what they are supposed to do at a particular point when they were in their young age? Are they into this because their parents were not able to train them in something better? Or is it because they lost TIME to PROCRASTINATION? These questions most times push me into action because one thing I dread so much as a person is living a sympathetic life when I will be in my 60s or 70s.
One day I was invited by a church in Lagos for their thanksgiving service. I got to the church late because I had another engagement somewhere else. So when I got to the venue, I stood outside not wanting to draw attention because I have been to the church about two times or more (I can’t remember now) as a guest speaker. As I was outside waiting for one of the Usher to get me somewhere to sit at the back. Something that brought tears to eyes happen. One old man who would be either in his late 60s or early 70s walked up to me and greeted me. I responded with a broad smile. He said, “my son I know that you don’t know me.” I was quiet and still smiling because someone who is in what I call “speaking business” can never know all those that know him or her. He continued, “my son do you know that at my age I practice those things you taught us when you came here the last time. They are what I am putting into practice now and they are helping me. I wish I had known them when I was younger, I would have been greater than what I am now.” All the while I was smiling but after the last line of his words, smile was drain off my lips. Because something pierced my heart and fear gripped me. Fear gripped me because one thing that is hunting many old people today is what they could have done when they were young that they didn’t do. Not because there were no opportunity but because something that is less importance took away their time.

The only person that has the full right to define you is the person that made you; the person that created you.

So many of us have abused our lives by the things we do with it. Some of us abuse our lives by the things we say about ourselves. Some of us have also abused ourselves by what we call ourselves. Many a time, we blame others for abusing us in one way or another while we are the greatest “abusers” of our lives.
You must dare to be yourself. May Sarton wrote, “We have to dare to be ourselves, however frightening or strange that self may prove to be.” Become whom God has built you to be.
What I want to tell you that read this piece is that whatever it is the world around you and you yourself have called yourself that is contrary to what your maker calls you will stop having negative effect on you after reading this write up. After reading this piece the pain and emotional pain and psychological defect which have followed you for sometimes will fly away with the wind, never to come back.

Hello guys, it another edition of the My Experience Segment on our Blog.. I was told this gist by a colleague, I managed to put all what I was told in writing just for you guys. Enjoy gist below.

This my colleague sister is married, she has two kinds, Twins. A Boy and a girl that are both 2 years of age. Her sister is in her late trimester so she need someone around to help her out considering the fact that her husband is not stable at home due to work. They decided to get a house girl. Someone referred a girl to them and they took her in as their own, also they quickly accepted her because they needed a hand to help take care of the twins because her sister will soon put to bed.

The house girl is a 10 YEAR OLD GIRL.. When she moved in with them, she always looks at her madam protruding tummy with an evil eye. The husband always notices this but he always wave’s it off. It is not as if her madam is wicked towards her. Her job is just to help bath the twins and keep them company because the woman is in her last month of delivery.

This my colleague sister gave birth to her baby and the child died. She was devastated, but God knows best. Anytime a strong man of God or someone that is spiritually strong comes into their house, they will feel the presence of a strange spirit in their home, immediately this their 10yr old maid will leave whatever she is doing and she will come to the palour to where they are, her presence will make those visitor to forget whatever they wanted to say about their strange feeling about their house.

One day the woman bath her twins herself, she dressed them up and told the maid to keep them company while she goes to get something across the street. Immediately she came back, she met the boy crying. She asked the maid what happened to the boy, the maid “Aunty I don’t know o, me I did not do anything o” the woman saw that her maid skirt was loosed and she asked “why is your skirt loosed?” and she quickly said “ Aunty nothing oh, I went to we-we”. The woman took her twins to her room, immediately she wanted to lock the door, this her 10 year old maid, quickly ran into her room and out of anger she slapped the girl, did I call you she asked her? She pushed her out of the room and then she locked the rom.

As a mother she then pet the crying boy and then she calmly asked him, “why are you crying? And the little boy said “Mummy my we-we is paining me” her mother was like “What happened to your we-we? Why is it paining you? Who touched your we-we? The little crying boy said “it is Aunty Blessing that is always playing with my we-we? The mother asked the twin sister, “Is it true that blessing is playing with junior we-we? The girl said yes. The mother became mad and then she asked her, did she always play with your own we-we too? The small girl said no. Curiosity and anger made her to pull off her baby boy trouser and she was shocked. The little boy small Pen!s is so swollen and red.

That was when she shouted for help! She quickly took the boy to an elderly woman across their street, when she got there, she was like “mummy I want show you something, she pulled down her little boy trouser and the elder woman saw that the boys pen!s is so swollen and red and she quickly asked, what happened to him? Her mother asked the boy in the elderly woman presence “junior, what happened to your we-we? And junior replied “it is aunty blessing that is always playing with my we-we?

That was when they started Beating the maid to tell them what she has been doing with the boys peni!s that made it so swollen and red. despite all the threat and beating, this 10 year old maid refused to talk. All she kept saying is that “if una like make una kill me, I no do anytin, I no go talk anytin”

While all these drama was ongoing, the boy’s father was not around oh. He was called on phone and he rushed home from work to see his house full. He quickly went to kitchen and carried a knife; he threatened to kill the maid if she did not confess, that was when the maid confessed. She said “I did not do anything to junior, I was only fucking him, I always Bleep him anytime I like” the whole house was shocked, they asked her how she manages to do that, she said “I will hold his pen!s and I will be chuking it in my bum bum” that was when they pounced on her again and started beating her. Despite all this beating, she showed no act of remorse. That was when people started telling her "Aje ni e" (You are a witch).

She latter started bleeding, they rushed her to the hospital… After a day at the hospital, she returned home and their family pastor came visiting. He wanted to counsel the girl. He was like “why did you do something like that? You are too young for this, this people take you as their own, they are planning to enroll you in a school next term” The ten year old girl interrupted the pastor and told him “What? Wetin I do?! The woman and her husband wanted to beat her again for being rude to their pastor, the pastor told them to leave her, that she is under a strong demonic influence.

All the people that took part in beating her were faced with one misfortune or the other. This my colleague that told me this gist had a serious accident on an Okada where her knee was badly bruised. She spent almost 2 weeks at home to nurse her wound. The boy’s father whom has never been sick before was faced with a strange illness that made him a vegetable for days. Other people that took part in beating her too either had an accident or fell sick suddenly or were faced with one misfortune or the other.

How I wish I can steal the pic of this entire gist from my colleagues phone, but she will have my head if I go near her phone without permission, also she won’t want to release the pictures to me because she knows my part time job is to do Amebo on my blog. lol

So as I was saying, the pastor did a deliverance session for the twins and the entire family but he refused to pray for the 10 year old maid. He told this my colleagues sister and her husband to return the 10 year old maid to where they got her from. The man took the maid to another pastor again and immediately that pastor saw the 10 year old maid, he told them to return the girl to wherever they picked her from too. That one too refused to pray for her. That was how the maid was returned to the woman that referred her to them.

Ha! Nkan Be! So my dear Twidas, Make una dey very careful o. The devil can possess anybody irrespective of their age or gender. If you are to pick a maid or any other domestic staff, do a thorough background check about that person before welcoming them into your home so that you won’t end up bringing Doom into your home.

Sexual intercourse is sacred and it is reserved only for married couples. Sex between married couple is fulfilling God’s divine plan and purpose for marital companionship. Sex in marriage is a way of living within the marriage circle. It is an everlasting obligation and not a sign of love. It is not a proof that you love your spouse. God designed sexual intercourse just for the two people who are duly married. Sexual satisfaction has nothing to do with two people who have not taken the oath or marital vow. If by omission or commission someone marries who he/she does not love he/she have to stick to him/her, until death comes in between to separate them. And if you are married to someone who because of sickness, age or accident lost his/her sexual potency...the bitter truth is that you must stick to him/her, and never to seek sexual satisfaction outside your matrimonial home. If you do seek it outside your home then you have committed the sin of adultery. The sin of adultery is a punishable offence.

Friend if physical reactions accurately define love; why are there so many divorces today? Sky-high divorce rate and brake up in relationships strongly indicates there must be more to love than natural short-lived emotional reactions. People have kept on failings in and out of love. Why? Because they have never really told “themselves” the truth. From my teen age I have always hated the word “Fall-in-love.” I discovered that people who always fall in love never take time before they fall-out-of love again.

I am very frustrated with the abuse heaped on the word “Love”. It is manipulated by the media (movies, soft sale magazines, Books on fictions) and use sloppily by nearly everyone else. Well I am not a follower of Cupid (Roman god of love) but I want to try in my own best way to set the record straight. (Someone would ask which record?) Funny Sirnoel…lol

Most “Lovers” have the chemistry thing working for them but they seldom remain together long enough to explore more into each others life. It would interest you to note here that I didn’t try to define love. I think I should live that for another day. Though I didn’t define love here as you already know, however, let me tell you the things love does and what love won’t do. Please remember that there’s nothing like TRUE LOVE or FALSE LOVE. Love is Love. (Anyway this is my own opinion, you can argue it; so don’t swallow it hook, line and sinker).

Before I round up this piece, you have to know that: (1) Love does not and can’t hurt. It is lack of love that hurts. (2) Love cannot be used to manipulate, if one person is manipulating another, then that’s lack of love. (3) People do not stay in abusive relationship because of love. They stay because they are scared, they believe they don’t have options or they have low self-esteem. (4) The power of love is always giving, expansive, joyful and creative. It is impossible to twist love into a negative purpose. Romans 13:10 says “Love does no harm to a neighbor.”
Therefore, don’t blame love for the problems you are having in your relationships (Marriage & Courtship).

The root of our (human) problems, all of our problem is lack of love. You may hardily believe this, but it is true. War is not about territory or resources or power or control, but war is of fear, and fear is a product of lack of love. My good friend, build your love, stray out of the line of fear and manipulation. Well...

Who do I hold responsible? This question has always come to my mind any time I look at myself with critical eyes. And I am sure that even you also have asked yourself this same question many times too.

Who do you hold responsible for the way your life has turned out to be right now? Will you say it is because of how your parents brought you up or will you push the blame to your friends? Humans are naturally infused with the spirit of blaming others when things go wrong along the line. In the Christian Holy Book, The Bible, it is recorded that when Adam the first person created by God made a weighty mistake and God came to meet with him as usual. God didn’t see him at their normal meeting point. God tried to find out why Adam was not where he should be. Adam told him that he(Adam) ran away when he saw Him(God) coming. God asked him why? He told God that the woman He (God) gave to him deceived him (Adam) into disobeying God. This is the same being that when Adam saw her for the first time he shouted at the top of his voice and was so excited that he gave her a name without thinking about it twice.

So it is a natural thing to blame someone when you didn’t get the expected result or make the expected impact. But life experience has thought me that it is only those that do things that are not very natural that become outstanding in this life. This means that before you could be able to get to where you have dreamt all along to get to; you must stop the blame game and take hold of your life and your dream. You must go the way of the unnatural men to achieve greater success in life.

Steve Goodier wrote, “The day I realized that I am in charge of how I will approach problems in my life, that things will turn out better or worse because of me and nobody else, that was the day I knew I would be a happier and healthier person. And that was the day I knew I could truly build a life that matters.” Therefore to experience a better life and to experience a dream(s) come true. To be where you ought to be you must put blaming others aside and know that whatever happened, happened because you permitted it to happen.

Opera Winfrey said “you are responsible for your life, you can’t keep blaming somebody else for your dysfunction.” Because you are responsible for your life you have to do what Bradley Whitford said, “ Infuse your life with action. Don't wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen... yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.”

Two points you have to mark very well in what Whiteford said; number one is “Honor your CREATOR and the second one is “by doing what you can to make grace happen.”

Do not play God always remember that there is God somewhere above the sky and everywhere. Honor Him in everything you do. As much as you are asked go into action, never ever get involved with anything that is anti God. Do not look for success in a sinful way. Do not do drug. Don’t get involved in financial crime or cyber crime. There is nothing God cannot do if a man is ready to act upon God’s word. Do not stay idol waiting for grace to manifest. Go ahead and manifest the grace by doing what you have not done before.

I will like to tell you this in conclusion; “the end does not justify the means.” The means justifies the end.

lolzzz u r actually living behind walls. NTA has over 10 different stations or should i say channels. I watch NTAi, NTANEWS24, NTA IGBOEZUE & NTA E most times.
