Politics / Re: NERC To Consider Changes In Inflation, Exchange Rate & Gas Prices In Review by mindtricks: 11:11pm On May 04, 2021
ceaser:
These 1diots did not even mull a single word about distribution of prepaid meters in all the nonsense they wrote up there.

Well, when there was no inflation, people were already unleashing their angers on them. Now that everything is tough on Nigerians, be ready to be accosted by "unknown attackers" in every home you take your 5tup1d estimated bills to.

I've been on 100% alternative energy for six years now. I'm free from the encumbrances of PHCN but I can't bear to see the cheating of Nigerians by these inepts.

You should consider riding solar. Now that you have prepaid meter, it will be easier for you to have alternative energy installed for your home. You can start little and alternate between solar and PHCN, thereby saving yourself more bucks spent on epileptic PHCN. With time you can increase your own capacity of production until such a time that you will totally jettison PhCN or use it for only heavy works such as ironing clothes.

I'm 100% solar, powering all moderate home gadgets you can think of. I still like to connect to the national grid but not until I'm able to lay my hands on a prepaid meter. I have been chasing BEDC for prepaid meter for 3 years now without getting anywhere with it. The woman in charge of BEDC - that former first bank MD - is touted to be the devil behind non-issuance of meters to customers. A woman fah!

And someone will be singing all over NL that "the future is female"

What a pity.

Nothing much to analyse there really. One man's comfort is another man's lack. DSTV premium subscription for a month is about N18,400.. Some people subscribe it and still add extra money for other package such as hdd/extra views for their other room and even French or Asian and on/ touch extra packages which could amount to about N24,600 while others use GoTV & startime then subscribe minimum (GoTV) and some do not even have any cable TV at all yet they are comfortable with the situation.

Some people go to Buka in Transcorp Hilton, Dunes, javenik, etc just to take breakfast, lunch or dinner as it pleases them while others are ok with mama Chidinma N300 per plate or small roasted yam. All of them see it as comfortable accorfing to their pocket.

Some people can make do with Aboki bread of N100 and be ok while others are not even ok with normal family loaf but instead will go for fruit bread.

To still burst out bubble as desirable as private schools seem these days, government schools are still filled up. Infact lots of them still requires good grades and strong connections to be admitted.

People leave in an environment where they have their own duplexes house about 16 ACs or more washing machines, Electric Cookers and other heavy appliances in their house with at least 30KVA gen and above.. you can imagine the Electricity bills and diesel bills. Some may only afford a 1,2 or 3 bedroom.

People build it 1,000 sqm in maitama, asokoro, Wuse 2 ,Katampe Extension, wuye , guzape etc... While others will enter mpape, Orozo etc to build on 200sqm.

Bills most times comes to you as the society and people around you sees you.

Also, do not underestimate the power of contribution for those that believe in it. In civil/public service a lot of people with meagre salary and without means of looting/stealing still achieve things with it.

Many people did not just get married and start having children before work or immediately they get employed. Some would have designed a pattern to save and invest with their salary no matter how meagre and getting a head way before marriage.

So, that the loud majority can not cut their coat according to their cloth does not mean people are not achieving more with little...

My bubble truly bursted!

Don't worry.

you can make use of Nairaland, twitter, Habari by gtb jiji, jumia and Konga to push your market by all means necessary.

Just remain focused and dedicated to your craft, one love.

Let me give you a brotherly advice, and I hope you work on it...
First of all I counsel people and I have done that on nairaland for a while... I have met great and good guys...
I dropped a story about my experience teaching in two schools as a corper and would not mind partnering with schools in abuja, but some accused me of looking for teaching job... Never ever mind what people say...
Back to the matter...
As a graduate, teaching and earning 15k, e no bad... But once you have a good (android) phone, go to any car stand of your choice around your area... Listen well, any good car stand and ask to see the manager... Tell him you want to help him market his cars and get good buyers... 90% of car stand managers will sign u on... Tel him you will be paid a small commission after sales...
Pick up your phone, snap as many cars as your phone memory can take, open a dedicated twitter ac, IG ac, Facebook ac, WhatsApp ac, ac etc... Take out time to post this cars, make sure you have the actual prices of this cars... You can add as much as #250k on it... Bring down the negotiations to as low as making #50k if need be just so I can sell. Set your monthly target... I assure you, if you get I client in a month, u make around #100,000k once you start growing, you can get as much as 5-10 client from all over the country and that hits you over #1m for just helping others sell their cars, Note all you invested was your time, energy, phone and data... No big financial capital...
Do not restrict yourself to cars, go for industrial machines as well, caterpillars, mikano gens, any thing, then you look for those big companies that need them and try to call their attention to it or market it to them... You may not sell in 3 months but when you manage to get a client to buy just 1 caterpillars, my brother you will instantly forget that u suffered before...
A friend of mine was marketing a silo for a local wielder, he received a call all the way from kebbi state, the purchase was made in Ilorin, he made #1.8 mil from buyers and #400k from seller... He still got a referral from that deal. Wake up bro...
Within a month or two, come and pay (tite).
I drive uber/bolt in abuja, market cars, sell commodities such as beans, maize, wheat, ginger, onions, name it... In bags and tonnes
And I make nothing less than half a mil monthly...

Affordable megatron 50,000mah powerbanks with 4 output units, type c and normal usb cord. payment on delivery within Lagos and Nationwide dispatch

Wisdom.

Typically Nigerian, always bringing bad name to the law abiding ones.

For your information, it is against the Facebook Community Standards to maintain more than one personal account.

To run your business on Facebook, there is something called Facebook business account. You will open it with your Facebook personal account. It is more like a business page where you should carried all business related transactions. Off course you will need a valid ID to be able to use the full features. Luckily for Nigeria, they currently accept the NIN ID card.

General notice:
Please let's always abide by the rules and regulations of various online trading platform. Always read their terms and conditions to be sure you are on the right track.
Never scam anyone online or offline. These things bring bad names to Nigeria and our country usually get blacklisted from some trading platform that could create more employment opportunities for us.

The Government is already fxxking Nigerians in the ass. Let's stop fxxking ourselves in the ass.

How Dare You Remi Tinubu? How Dare You?
Her Toxic Utterances shows the true mindset of most of them in this present day Clueless Political Class existing in Nigeria.
Take for instance how sluggish they've been in implementing the Meager #30K MINIMUM WAGE!
How hurriedly they pass bills to buy cars and renovate structures they use.
It's pathetic to think some youths still support these wicked and greedy politicians online & off-line.
As a youth how do you expect someone that has enjoyed their youths and have lived their lives to plan and put in place policies and structures for your future? Very illogical reasoning...that's why I'm an advocate of Voting for only young visionary leadership.
Come 2023 if we want a solution to the monstrous challenges we are facing as citizens we need to vote wisely(vote young visionary) leaders.

Lolz.....She messed up big time.

LAS VEGAS -- A British man who sold all his possessions, including his clothes, stood in a rented tuxedo Sunday surrounded by family and friends and bet everything on a single spin of the roulette wheel.

He won't go home empty handed.

Ashley Revell, a 32-year-old Londoner, sold all his possessions in March, took $135,300 to the Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas, did some low-stakes gambling and then placed everything he had left on "red."

The wheel was spun, a crowd of supporters including his Mum and Dad from London went wild, the ball bobbled over the slots and landed on Red 7 -- and Revell walked away with $270,600.

Me sef bet 300k (Naira o, I never see dollar before o) on 2 odd game some years back, I won! wink
