@Pic,. I think I looked slimmer than you when I was 70kg. Maybe it's because I'm practically boobless.
Or you probably had more muscle weight
So what steps did you take to get down to 60.

Good morning puffynana, I use this 60cl nestle bottle water. I fill them and refridgerate.
100cl is eauivalent to I litre
So depending on how many bottles of it I drink I convert to Litre and post
I don't drink water much so its mostly during eating or exercise I drink one of it

You have the right standing to apply for both MSc public health and MPH public health.

Your friend was not admitted because admissions was very strigent last year. Only about 10-15 persons were admitted. You first take a general postgraduate English test, then write the departmental/faculty aptitude test, then attend the oral interview.

Both MSc and MPH public health can proceed to doctorate. It depends on what your interests are.

Dr.PH (Academic) or Dr.PH (professional)

If you want to lecture, you can do any. Only notable difference is Dr.PH academic is somewat research based.

MPH is simply a professional masters degree and can't further to PhD because its not research based. I will advice you to continue with your biochemistry since you intend to lecture in future.

@Destinygrl, there could actually be a lot of reasons why your hair isn't growing.

But for starters, when is the last time you trimmed your hair?

And have you done a protein treatment recently?

The last time I was stuck at the same length I realized it was because I had lots of split ends and because my hair would just break off with any little touch. But after I trimmed my ends and did a protein treatment to strengthen the hair, there was a lot of improvement.

Hi everyone and Etinosajay, thanks for all the information you all have bn giving on the thread. I have some few questions pls
1. Please what are my chances of getting admitted to study Masters in public health at UI
I have BSc biochemistry. 2:1. A friend applied last year, she said her mark was above cutoff but wasn't given admission
2. Pls can you widen btw MSc public health and Masters in public health. I heard Masters in Public can't further to Phd(how true is this pls) while Master of Science public health can further to Phd
3. I really want to do public health and intend to further to Phd cos I have a lecturing ambition in mind
Am stuck btw choosing MSc in biochemistry and MSc public health because it seems the competition is much as well as the rumour about one not bn able to further with MPH
Kindly give your opinions pls

Took plenty tins today. Weighed myself first time this yr and it was scary. I will be stronger tomorrow..

Jogged my 1mile in 10 mins
Skipped 1050 in 28mins
Rice n beans for b. Fast
Bread for lunch
Wheat and fish for dinner
Had 2 bottles of beer in the noon also and a plate of catfish
shocked grin that's huge.

Have not being checking time till today. I started a new program and I did 1050 skips in 28mins (rest time included).

Started with 300, then 250,200,150,100,50.
Started with jumping then change to the normal skipping style wen tired or when the shoulders are weak. I try not to stop between the count though it's normal to miss footing a few times.

Way to go, am on a similar journey at the moment.. You can add metabolism conditioning to your routine ( see what Kate Henshaw is doing) extremely tough but highly effective..

Hi, My name is Miss Miracle. I currently weigh 70kg (was weighing close to 80kg as at oct last year, I lost motivation and focus, it seems the lost fat is trying to come back), my height is 5ft 7, and i want to lose 5 -10kg before the end of june inorder to reach my BMI and maintain it at that (so help me Lord)

I intend to achieve this by;
1.Cutting out soft drinks, biscuits, cakes, etc.
2. Cut out ALL sugar and unnecessary fat from my diet.
3. Cut out red meat consumption, replace with fish.
5. Eating healthy and not starve.
6. Eat more fruit and vegetables.
7. Give an update of my food log and excercise

Log for 1st May

600 skips, 15mins jogging
Breakfast: a cup of lipton with moimoi
Lunch: a plate of white rice and stew
Dinner: (meant to take cucumber and mango) was full so didn't. Drank lipton mixed with lemon and ginger instead

Total water taken for the day: 3L
