Quite frankly I haven't heard of any other club that's interested in him. And following our hijack of Mariano, Mayoral may be a peace offering to Sevilla. Until he blows up and we go for him again...

Silva have already benched yedder, mayoral going there would see him become the club's third striker, which isn't good. It won't be bad if he goes to alaves, getafe or other la liga clubs who do not have much options in attack.

Challenge ke. Benz will play all the UCL and important La Liga games whether he is scoring or not. Mariano does not have the experience or ability to bench Benz. Mariano is backup for when we have to rest Benz or when he enters a goal scoring drought or if Benz gets injured.

last last, we might end up selling him(Mariano) next season just like morata. I just hope Lope gives him enough playing time, especially in the CDR matches and some of the CL group matches and maybe a super sub in the league. We need someone who can make an impact from the bench.

I get your point but I don't think it's just that.

You guys had Alves who had more assists than some of your midfielders. How many times have we seen Messi float the ball over the defense to an on-rushing Jordi Alba. Mendy has turned into some kind of wizard in crossing at Man City. Even Juve have Cancelo/Sandro doing major damage as RWB/LWB this season. Marcos Alonso, Alaba, Kimmich...

And about Ramos, Pique too goes forward many times than most defenders. In the modern game, defenders are becoming more of an attacking threat. They pitch in when they can, and so I don't understand why others can make it work and we can't.

our defence is sh*t, Girona would have scored 2 more if not for Carvajal's right foot blocking that dangerous shot and navas coming out of his line to play the ball out.

Imagine Ramos leaving his defensive duties just to go and score. I'm just glad we overcame this stone heads, another huge test for us is against athletic Bilbao, those guys messed with us real good last season.
