You guys had Alves who had more assists than some of your midfielders. How many times have we seen Messi float the ball over the defense to an on-rushing Jordi Alba. Mendy has turned into some kind of wizard in crossing at Man City. Even Juve have Cancelo/Sandro doing major damage as RWB/LWB this season. Marcos Alonso, Alaba, Kimmich...

And about Ramos, Pique too goes forward many times than most defenders. In the modern game, defenders are becoming more of an attacking threat. They pitch in when they can, and so I don't understand why others can make it work and we can't.

Madrid are always most vulnerable when
losing possession. Due to full backs pushing forward and Ramos bombing
forward + Kroos's generally lax attitude when jogging back to help Casemiro a
single ball behind the defense or a single bad pass/interception can lead to a
chance at goal. the coach need to iron out these defensive frailties soon as
defense wins the league.
