@cute. I believe they have special cut-off for them,because I can still remember I saw some students who score 55,54.on the merit list last year while I with 61.4 was deny admission into accountancy simply because they are from the northen states, (Names like Mustapha)

@val you should first wait till the cut-off is finally published in their site,with that you can assess all the curses along side with their subject requirements;it is then you can come up with a choice.I believe by tomorrow it will be released on the site;but for now exercise some patience.

@val i wasn't replying to your post but I'm writing to supporting mayoks.but@val I really must be frank with you.The probability of getting admission from change of curse is 1/4,except in education Faculty.

Not really, but you can't really use that to determine what this year cut-off will be.like I said earlier,the cut-off will be determined from the aggregate performance of all the candidates in the department;if general performance is low,then expect a low cut-off;but the reverse is the case if the aggregate performance is high, anyway sha.BEST OF LUCK.

@all prospective economics students:YOUR CHANCES DEPEND GREATLY ON the aggregate performance in your curse.@val. It is good that you're from one of the catchment areas,that means you still have an edge.Keep your fingers crossed till the release of the cut-off marks.

Considering the basis of apportioning cut-off;I have come to the realisation that you're good to go, Even if your cut-off is 66;which is unusual,you will still have your way since cut-off for catchment is at least 2 lesser than the general cut_off.So rejoice my friend you're in but don't forget to back your effort with prayer, BEST OF LUCK

@cute.I hope you have gotten a print out the 1st time you checked your result.That's been the general problem;it is believed that UNILAG,have not activated the usage of the card more than once.EVEN if you try from now till tomorrow the same thing will be repeated.GO make a photocopy of printed one.you would need four copies for reg. Procedure,

@chaf,what matters now is this;if you know you score high in your result,then waste no time on trial!go purchase another card.YOU MUST HAVE A COPY OF RESULT EVEN IF YOU ARE ADMITTED,FOR REG.PROCEDURES.

@bak,your chances depend solely on God and catchment area.I hope your state is among the state enlisted in the so called catchment and less previlleged states.Because over the years you hardly see UNILAG put cut-off below 60,for causes in the faculty of BISADMIN.Nevertheless best of luck,

Guys I must cofess my dissatisfaction at the announcing of the cut_off.As far as I am concerned,this will not promote the admission of more candidates but would definitely increase the revenue accruing to the school boards.It would also worsen the competition at universities at the expense of poly. and col.

Post-UME exam is now a thing of the past!!!No more postume EXAMS.UME score will be used as the only basis of admission into institutions.

Since the board approves awaiting result candidates to write its exam.I see no reason for you to panic cause they have their way of arranging the whole set-up.Panic not man!
