Did you guys hear of the EVAL company thats going to open up in Egede near ninth mile?

Your so riight about the building. I hate how theres no creativity with the buildings. How can u build a school to end up looking like a house? Same goes with the way most of these hospitals are built. And i dont get why its all littered around like that. But i love what they are trying to do.

As much as i dont support tribalism and all that. I think ur being a bit too naive. I wonder if u have been around nairalans at all and seen the type of insults and name calling that are being thrown at igbos. People make threads claiming its for the interest of igbos(that arent event igbo) and start accusing igbos of one thing or the other. Even alot of threads about biafra wasn not created by igbos. If your really trying to be fair, do ur judgement right. Igbos face more discrimination in nigeria than any other tribe.

I guess to you theres nothing wrong with too many hotels littered around owerri (no offense meant) but now i see why you have issues with people here.I used to think you were unjustly attacked. I wonder if your eye sight is clear.. owerri dont need thousands of hotels before its known that its a "showbiz" place. Even if rochas wanted to make it so wgjy hotels? Why not Venture into things like amusement parks, resorts, etc like that, that will generate money .Calabar and Uyo that have more money and are nice too dont have industries but they worked on making their state not just beautiful but also a nice tourist spot. Honestly ive given up hope on imo. I use to think Rochas was that man that would turn things around, obviously not

@abagaworo what are those unfinished buildings at the back of the 2nd pic and what is that tall building in the last pic.... Hope its not hotels.

Some of those roads are ok but they really need to be marked and from the pic it looks like theres traffic lights in some roads. Theres need for more cus owere is jam packed and that may help in regulating the traffic. Also new roads need to be opened up and owerri need bypass nd bridges too in order for drivers to have alternative route

Your right mr. Cj but i think hes also trying to revive this thread. Its not moving like it use to. It was like a thug of war for it to get to this page number. We shouldnt let this thread die. I will try to get some pics i saw online and social media uploaded here if i can.

I dont think people know the difference between hating and constructive criticism. Thats what always causes all these fights between ppl from different states. We need to be truthful to ourselves, and stop all this dumb fights over what state is better, developed etc. The problem with the imo thread is basically from the fact richas is an apc man etc and the other things wrong in the state, but the fact that any picture posted in that thread never suits anyone is something else, even mr. Spyder that was trying to help out by posting is now being questioned, i just dont get it. For once we all need to come together and stop these unnecessary accusation and childishness. If a state is doing something wrong say it in the most mature way and not go on bashing etc. As for guruguru Whats he doing? Because tbh all ive been doing is readung headlines what his plans, though i applaud him for the roads thats being constructed etc.

@Cjrane2 Wow i dont know anything bout any of that but if thats true, thats very bad. As a state governor he should think for the state and not for a particular section. I used tp have so much fate for that state until like a year or two ago .And youre also right about the repeated war going on with the two names you mentioned, its so childlish. I think chino is the one that keeps escalating it. If Abagaworo(though i think he also gets attacked unnecessary sometimes) is said to be what he is, why cant he just ignore it and stop taking it out on the imo thread? But ive witnessed so much disunity going on amongst us igbos. I cant believe the amounts of hate speech etc i see on the imo thread. Its really bad, and it hurts please @spyder @cjrane etc please help. All i see is attacks being made at imo ppl. Even if rochas is seen as a "nonentity" to certain ppl, thats no reason to sprew hate on the state. Im not going to mention names but its always a paticular 2 or 3 ppl that always try to derail that thread. Same happened on the anambra thread( until lately), the abia thread, etc.
