This figure is based on the number of people who collect their drugs from the state and does not necessarily refer to indigenes of the state only.

In fact most people come from neighboring states to collect drugs there just so no one in their state accidentally run into them queuing up for drugs.

PoliticsRe: Professor Dora Akunyili's Last Public Speech (Madam Honesty) by MissDetermined: 1:46pm On May 23, 2015
"Late Prof.Dora Akunyili

God bless her soul ,I admire her strength, passion and enthusiasm! She
came up with the "Nigeria,Good people, great
nation" slogan, she believed in a better Nigeria and
demonstrated that through her actions...its sad
she's not here (and never will be).

I remember the last I saw of her,a picture
she snapped during the national conference and I remember saying this can't be Dora! She was just a
shadow of her old self...I silently prayed that
whatever was eating Dora up will stop already but
Alas!!! My prayer was late....

A lot of people will remember Dora for different
reasons,I know I'll always remember her as a
woman who stood for what she believed in,who
worked hard and left her footprints on the sand of
time,I'm indeed lucky she graced this earth during
my time ...she was a heroine and a rare
gem...she had family, career, wealth and fame! Yes
she had it all!...so the next time people who write
"pathetic stories" of women who supposedly didn't
have it all,I hope they'll be kind enough to tell
us about Dora, Dora Akunyili who had it all...rest
on mother!"

She Lives on...

I haven't forgotten you guys, had a few challenges last month, right after posting the last chapter, I lost my dad two days later on Easter sunday.

Had to make burial preparations and all that plus had to grieve a little also. Anyway, all that is done and I have begun with the next chapter, just quite slow about it.

So pls hang in there, thanks.
Sorry for your loss Repogirl, the Lord comfort your heart.

U r welcome. Most attimes when the company does not have vacancy there will refer u 2 another coy. What did u study?
I studied Accountancy(plus have other basic skills). And as a fresh graduate with no work experience(have done a couple of voluntary work, but sadly,it landed me in teaching, not exactly the work experience I was looking forward to)I'm not looking out for the pay but for an organization that will make me work really hard(preferably in my discipline) and challenge my knowledge of Accounting.

Tried submitting photocopies of my credentials at 3 banks but was turned down with the excuse of "we are not recruiting yet"

But henceforth,I'll try your method and see how it goes.

Still a serving corp member though.

Please let nobody deceive you or tell u there is no Job for graduates in Nigeria. There are a lot of Job opportunities for graduates especially in Lagos, the challenge is that most people are not informed and so don't know how to go about getting interviews and securing a Job.Most Companies don't advertise their Job vacancies, there do low key recruiting. So the best bet is to list out all the Companies in your field of profession,go to their career page and apply.Believe you me,if you do DAT for say 30 Companies, before 2weeks,you will get several invites for interviews and all.....Knowledge is power and Note, there are a lot of Jobs in Nigeria especially Lagos...Cheers
I really needed this! I need a little clarification though, can one apply even when the said company/organization isn't recruiting as of that time??

Hello!
I'm still a student at the moment. I don't intend to look for jobs when i'm through with my NYSC but internships. I'm studying biochemistry an I have questions I wish I can get as much answers as possible from experienced people.
1. How do I make my CV very attractive? What interests intern seekers in CVs?
2. What organizations do you know that accepts interns, paid or unpaid? And would it make sense if I had internship in a bank or other unrelated organisations to my discipline, as a biochemistry graduate? I want experience first before landing a job, that's why I want an internship.
3. Apart from GMAT, what other material can I use to prepare for tests and exams?
4. What mistakes did you make or inadequacies you think you had that made you not to be picked in some of your interviews?
5. What makes interviewers interested in an applicant during an interview?
6. Which is a better plus? A masters degree or internship experience?
7. In general, what would you suggest I do during my NYSC days and after if I don't get internship?
8. How true is it that one must have connections before getting employed?
Thanks. Its not compulsory that you answer all tho.
I'll suggest you check this thread

www.nairaland.com/1576265/achieving-dream-career-story-lessons

I believe your questions will be well attended to there seeing this thread is more of helping job seekers.

With regards your second question,I'll strongly advice you look for an organization related to your field, that way, you'll get work experience which will be a plus to your CV.

Just take time to read that thread,I did and I'm yet to regret that decision.

Something about this man! Whatever charm it is they are using, its clearly working for them! So cute!

Love they say isn't Romeo and Juliet who died for each other, its Grandpa and Grandma who grew old together!

Will gladly vote this man for president someday,he's got charisma!
