torres2: School fees ranges from around 80k to 135k, about installmental it is NO, though the school just approved it but I don't think it will work(best reason known to me). Highest fee: college of medicine, I think lowest should be Art.

NB: school fees isn't stable as it is subject to alteration everyyear. #datzall

Well said. Some art courses are 70+ sef.. If they finally implement d installmental payment,it wld most likely be in two instalments.

Anuoluwap: Eksu palava can kill someone. So this is the almighty UNAD of all unis. Back then I fell in love with the school cause most people would want to go to UNAD as in it was so popular and much respected back then. What happened to my UNAD? Glory lost? *cries* right now I look up to God & #AAUA. Eksu's admission is as good as HBP

Lol,it is well. I think its just d slow calendar due 2 strikes and all and d merging of 3unis 2geda 2 form EKSUthat affected d school.. If they actually merge d new intakes,u dnt have to worry bout d school calendar. I pray u gain both admission so u'll be able 2 make ur choice.

The merging tin ehn,I doubt if its possible cuz NUC has a regulation for the maximum no of students a university can take,no of students per course/class limits,and d no of students they can graduate. The rumours are so strong,so I'm thinking nw it might actually happen,bt u guys shld pray it doesn't,its like 3/4 ppl fighting 4 a seat meant 4 1person,u can imagine how tough it will be till u graduate. The facilities r not enough 4 d present ones,nt 2 talk of adding others 2 it,they v said it all above in previous posts..+when u guys are graduating,it will be a big problem,esp those of u in professional courses,nt to talk of NYSC posting(there's a limit also).. I pray this merging tin is nt true,cuz it will actually affect all students both old(100-400)and new,bt I knw most new intakes want it 2 happen so they dnt have 2 wait @ home.. let's see what happens when ASUU finally calls off their strike,hopefully next week.

I replied some post,bt to the general matters arising...
1)There's no school hostel for nw,u have to get an accommodation/hostel off campus depending on what u can afford,they v covered d locations in previous post already.bt b4 deciding 2 stay sumwere,ask those who have been living in that hostel/area before u conclude.
2)The school calendar is actually very slow,we are way back now,bt we can't be too sure of what will happen nw till after the strike. There v been various rumours,the major ones being the school restarting d session afresh,and d merging of new intakes with the present 100L.the school restarting d session is very possible,bt will be bad 4 u new intakes cuz u ave 2 wait an academic session b4 getting.

Cutiemercie: Biko I'm worried. Is eksu a good school? The school fees is too much,the school's academic calendar is somehow......the students love to fight.....goin on strike is like a normal holiday to them. Pals,i need help. Tell me your personal view bout this great school. A friend of mine who is a student said the school is not so good yet their school fees,the accomodation fee and the acceptance fee are even enough for a student to go to a private university.

"Good" is relative. All nigerian unis have their issues,so it depends on how u r seeing it. they fight,steal and strike in almost all government unis. All the fees u'll pay wen u resume isn't yet up to a private uni's school fees,u can't spend anytin less than 500k in any private uni,and government schools are more respected than private schls in d labour market. My personal view,the school isn't d best,bt not d worst either. If u have another admission 2 any reputable uni presently,u might go 4 that bcuz the school calendar is very slow here,and most procedures here are slow,they waste time on almost everything(that's the major problem),bt its developing,tins r changing,the school is still growing. If u can afford d fees,and u r already admitted,jst chill n resume here weneva d new students do and cope with it..except u wanna go thru d stress of jamb nd admission wahala again. There's no assurance that going 2 another school will be better 4 u than here. God's will is the best,so if u have 2 make a decision pray bout it.

OAU is very slow also,bt its a federal uni,its an old uni,and it has "name"(yeah,as much as most ppl dnt wanna believe,"schl name" matters in d long run). They sure have more facilities and staffs than EKSU,u can't compare both. About unilorin PD,unilorin is a good schl,dey dnt go on strike,bt they rush them and its really tough there,unilorin's admission is also very competitive. U knw what they say bout "a bird in hand"...no nigerian uni is "really good",evry1 is jst coping with wat dey get in2.

Check d current jamb brochure,and look @ eksu's general requirement for the course u r applying for.

Azukam1: Pls my score was 31 nd i choose accounting as my field of study using direct entry. Pls want my chance.

Direct entry admission is tough in eksu(except they changed this year's admission process),ur chances are slim.

koolet: yea its a v.rare occurance bt same thing happened to 'miss lade' then she had no choice than to take the school option....

I was actually able to change my course l8r to what was in my jamb admission letter through the school's change of course,but its a very stressful procedure,I won't even lie 2 u.

Hi peeps,its been a while,bt I'm here now. Congrats to all those that v gained admission,and 2 those still waiting,don't loose hope. I didn't get admitted until december last year,even though I passed very well and chose d school as my 1st choice,I also knw sum1 got admitted february this year after she thought it was over,so don't loose hope!

If they v concluded d pume,then they v written d d.e exam also. If u r given admission,u'll see ur name on d admission list when its out.

Feb or march is even early,cuz we were supposed 2 finish this session feb,bt d calendar will change nw cuz of d ongoing ASUU strike..dt + d compulsory 2months break I'm hearing d govt will give 2 all schools in d state nxt year cuz of d elections(I dnt knw how true dis is tho).. We myt nt rily start new session fully till may.

Yes,d.e candidates write post ume. I sent my transcript last year,bt its nt necessary in eksu,I'm sure they didn't use it..it prolly got lost sumwere in d admin block sef.. Don't stress urself bout that. When u v gained admission,during reg..u'll be asked 2 get a verification 4rm ur school thru ems.. That's what they really need.

Yes! We wrote last year,and they didn't even announce it or indicate it in d school portal. U jst have 2 get d form like every normal person if it isn't too late nw.. All direct entry candidates wrote on the same day last year after all ume candidates were done with d pume(like ume went 4 a whole week,d.e exam was d next mon),nd sum pple didn't come cuz dey didn't know they were suppose 2 write d pume also.

Ermm,I'm nt one to discourage or so.. But predegree applicants should try 2 have other options,except u r so bent on studying in eksu,or it is ur last resort.. I'm saying this basically bcuz of how slow d present school calendar is(nt 4getting d ASUU strike,and d coming 2014 elections in d state).. Pls its just an opinion,nt an advice sef.. U don't have 2 agree with me,I'm just saying.

I got some useful info 4rm dis place last year,even if it didn't help me per say as a d.e applicant(cuz no1 rily had d right ansas 2 my questions).. I got admission at eksu 2012 buh after a year I had to change to a private uni coz of all the irregularity that is associated with eksu..the slow calender..the cult ish..the poor academic performance of d student..etc, the skul is just confused..I pity their students

We know eksu has issues. Just as that private school also. No nigerian school is good enough,there's always 1 fault or the other. We don't need ur pity,thanks. @ least we r in school,and we'll graduate 1 day,millions of nigerian youth r looking 4 dis opportunity.

I just finished my ND lastyear and my result is still awaiting although as @ the semester before the last one I was maintaining a distinction. Pls Miss. Laspotech is recognised,I know sum1 who got in with their ND/HND(nt so sure) this year,and ur grade is good enough so far ur result is out before d postume/admission period. But,DE admission into eksu is very very stressful,I repeat DE admission into eksu is very very stressful. And there r very slim chances of getting admission,only bout 50 was admitted this session out of almost/over a 1000 that wrote the exam. My advice,if u have anoda option,pls change d school. If u insist on eksu and u r ready 2 face d odds,den u have 2 pray well,nd ur "leg" must be really long. To be honest with u,d.e admission isn't rily bout merit here,its bout who u know. U just might be lucky+things change every year,bt v tld u all I know and I'll advise my own frnd. D.E students pay same school fees with 100L,which is bout 100,000 or more,depending on ur course. Wish u all the best.

Then,I went 2 admissions office 2day,nd saw d notice "admission for 2012/2013 closed" on the door. I'm not discouraging those dt r still waiting,I'm only writing what I saw. Wld advise ny1 still waiting 2 get jamb form,jst incase,so u dnt loose on both sides.

Yes. Faculty of arts,agric,science,nd college of medicine were d only ones dey attended to 2day. Other faculties can check on wed nd above. If u aint in school nw,u dnt need 2 panic,u can get it whenever u come. Reg is 25th feb-28th March. Bt note dt clearance slip is jst d 1st step,nd there r still bout 8 other strenuous steps..so d earlier,d better.

I submitted my admission letter,waec print out and scratch card as we were told to submit on d first day of d clearance wich was tuesday....d nextday, i got to find out dat d acceptance e-transact has bin added to d list of wat we r to submit for d clearance....i got 2 find out dat mst pple dat submitted diers d first day had simillar problems....hope dis wont affect my clearance ooo......kinda scared..its better 2 knw my fate dan to keep mute.

U r safe. They didn't request 4 it on friday,nd even this monday.. Only ur olevel,admission letter,acceptance form,nd waec scratch card..

Ah!.. No..no.. Schools dnt give matric numbers early,its way after resumption. Till then u'll keep using ur reg no. Nobody will ask u 4 d real matric no now,nd weneva u wanna fill sumtin nd see matric no,put in ur reg no till matric day.
