Errm,this isn't a sure info..bt,1) I dnt tink unad accepts lower credit,bt since its hnd,dey myt consider. 2) I think all their direct entry is 4 200L.. Lyk I said this isn't a sure info,bt u said "anyone with any idea".. U can check d jamb brochure 2 be sure.

Like I said earlier,d school v nt resumed yet 4 a new session. They r still in d 2011/2012 session,nd presently d school is closed down. They v nt said nytin bout nxt session,nt even date of reg 4 new intakes.

Rumours have it dat d school is reopening nxt mon..nt sure of new intakes/new session cuz dey v nt even done 2nd semester exams...bt even if reg starts late this year,lectures can't start till january..

Oh,now I get. Sorry 2 break it 2 u,bt she lied! 1.the school is closed down 4 nw. 2.They v nt written 2nd semester exam,nt 2 talk of resuming new sessions. 3.The school fees 4 100level isn't 250(even 4 med students)all courses r bout 100k(+ or -).even d main tuition fee is 50,000,its other charges dt made d money up2 100k. Ask ur sister her source of info,thanks

Yh,even wema bank here said dey r only accepting school fees nd acceptance fees. Get sum1 2 hlp u buy 4rm inside school when its calm. Go 2 jamb office(its @ ikoyi),nd buy e-facility card 4 1,500 2 print ur original jamb result.

Hmmn,it shld be written on d admission letter if there is a deadline,bt u shld pay asap so as nt 2 forfeit d admission. I think d school fees is 100+.then since he has gotten d admission,all he need 2 do is chill till dey annouce d resumption date nd get all d screening documents ready. U may need 2 knw dt eksu hostels r run by private individuals,nd d price ranges 4rm lyk 25k-120k.. Maybe sum1 else can hlp u with more info.

Aprt 4rm dat, I am conversant with medicine admission.
Oau admit more abt 100+ a year. UI with d largest approved quota from
NMDC & NUC is abt 140+.
Most state universities(whether partially or totally accredited admit
50+ medical students like AAUA,ABSU,OOU and likes). As sucinth as
possible, Lag,ABU,UNIUYO admit 100+ medics.
With a view to finding d exact medics eksu admit, I av made some
findings with medical student, the faculty officer for MBBS)... The F.O
said eksu will admit only 50. A medical student dia said eksu will admit
more dan 50 cos she will send some medics with deficiencies to other
departments like agric,MCB if dey fail one course, there4 still abiding
with the approved quota.
Medicine cut off for non-indigenes is said to be 73 and 64 for
indigenes..

I am convinced beyond any iota of doubt dat few names will be released for medical aspirants with hot influence and connection.
Also, d rcn for asking when d d exact date for the rlis of d supp list is to know wheda I shud keep my finger crossed or grasp d pd admission b4 d deadline.
Apart from God's grace, gaining admission to study medicine in eksu is possible through d supp list but it depends on d person running it for you. Underline my words.

Personally,I'll advise u 2 get d pd form.@ least u aint paying d school fees yet,nd if u l8r get d admission u'll jst forgo it. 4rm d look of tins,d nxt list wld be mainly 4 pple who did change of course,nd maybe few additions 2 d remaining courses,lyk 1 or 2 pple. Remember medicine is d most competitive course in most schools,nd dere r still many pple with "longer legs",nd higher scores dt were nt given admission too..u nt being an indigene makes it difficult also,cuz if deres 1 spot left nd deres an indigene with a lower score,dey'll pick him/her over u(long leg or nt)! Its state schools policies.. Besides,"leg pass leg";evry1 is putting in all deir efforts nd connections nw.

Hmmn,with all these facilities.. I wld honestly say d houses there are cheaper than most schools,@ least d lowest is 25k and highest is 120k.. Wat I wld jst advice pple is 2 consider long term expenses,convenience nd environment b4 choosing ny hostel.. Dnt just rush anywhere cuz its cheaper.

torres2: About accommodation I just want to advice you on somethings probably necessary
we have five main areas
iworoko: bike money everyday whether you had your lecture or not. To and fro about 60 to 80 everyday
osekita: trekable but a little bit far from school just 12minute walk but light condition as at no very poor
school gate: in front of the school not far but no adequate security as big boys live there not adviceable for girls because it as recorded the highest number of rapping and assault but light condition the very best. you must not walk after 9pm or else at your own risk.
satellite: around the school, very lively, light condition okay but not up to school gate, not far from about 8min walk but hostel are expensive
for prices
iworoko the cheapest ranges from 30 to 40k per year
school gate: cheap and expensive for a room with public toilet and bathroom 25k. For those with private toilet and bathroom(self contain) 45k to 65k as the facilities depend also in other places i have mention but just that accommodation in satellite is very expensive self contain cost around 45k to 90k some even 120k
not saying it a fixed price but to keep you inform so that you don't make wrong decision and start preparing for money depending on where and type to live. Thanks and God bless

Cool,thanx 4 d info.. Stayed with a frnd wen I came 4 d exam. her place had water+gen facilities 4 60k(self contain)..anoda frnds place had water+gen+security 4 70k,self contain also.. Both satellite,d place is very okay n close 2 school.. Jst dat dere was no light..@ all!.. all thru my stay dere(3 days)..
