Kayode: A lot has been said about Foluke and I; but I must state that my first wife packed out of our home on her own volition. Foluke: Yes, and I remember I was introduced to his wife at the initial stage of working together. We were friends until he started talking about the problems he had with his first marriage. I didn’t know he had issues with his marriage but he is quite an emotional person and as a friend, he told me his experience. I understood the wife left him on her own volition and I knew he made attempts to resolve the problem. At a point, he told me to step out of the picture because he needed to sort out the problems in his marriage. Later, he called again and said we needed to move on.

Foluke: Don’t stop doing those things that attracted him to you. He loves my legs and I wear short skirts at home for him. Also, men should pay their wives compliments.

Are there pet names?

Foluke: I call him Ade mi (my crown) and Ayinde. He calls me Folu, when he is angry.

Diving guide Dave Marcel had been taking tourists out on Elbow Reef off Key Largo, Florida for years - allowing them to interact with the reef's wildlife including the 300-pound nurse shark.

These sharks are not usually aggressive, and love being petted.

Marcel would prove their harmlessness by kissing the sharks, and then allowing the tourists to do the same.

Until the day one of the sharks bit back.

The shark bite was caught on camera and aired on Discovery Channel as a part of this year's 'Shark Week.'

Marcel's key mistake that day was flipping the shark upside down before planting a smooch - something he hadn't done before.

Marcel didn't realize that since the shark's eyes are on top of it's head, it wouldn't see him and would assume he was being fed fish.

Instead of passively receiving the peck, the shark bit down with all 500 of it's razor-sharp teeth.

Once the shark realized it was eating human flesh and not fish meat, it lost interest and swam off.

'He spit me out. I guess he said I didn't taste good,' Marcel told the Discovery Channel.

Discovery Channel's Jeff Kurr also pointed out to the Huffington Post that while these sharks are docile, their anatomy is rigged to do major damage.

He said nurse sharks can suck a conch right out of it's shell.

Luckily for Marcel, the bite didn't leave his face deformed. But it still required 285 stitches. He compared the painful bite to a firecracker going off in his mouth.

Marcel, not about to let a shark bite get him down, was out in the water again three days later.

Lol Donjazzy is a character.So, earlier in the day, a twitter fan of former Nigerian Vice President, Atiku Abubakar asked him why he doesn't share recharge cards like Donjazzy. Atiku replied""Because I'm not as rich as Donjazzy".

On seeing the tweet, as a sharp guy, Donjazzy tweeted back at Atiku who is now following him back.He also dug up his children's handles and tweeted at them... who were amazed at the number of followers they gained just because Donjazzy mentioned them.
Here is the funny part, Donjazzy asked his daughter if their father was actually the one tweeting and she confirmed it......Lol smart guy..

""Back stage at the Rothmans Groove tour which held @ TBS in 1998, there I was seated with the likes of The Plantashun Boiz,Dr. Fresh,Remedies and more...I was just a young boy trying to weigh his options on what direction to go with his career as drumming,rapping,producing and comedy were few of my options.
That night was the 1st time I met Tony Tetuila, one of those humble guys you come by,he was warm and accommodating considering the obvious fact that I was nobody in the industry.
Fast forward a few months later, Comedy had won me over and in the course of my hustle and journey to where I'm yet to get to, I bumped into Tetuila in Festac, just about the time his single 'you don hit my car' came out.

We reconnected while playing catch up. We had common friends so 'bumping' into each other became a tradition. The 1st time he saw me perform @ a concert was at a gig The Plantashun Boiz used to host @ the Den in Ikeja.

I must have impressed him because not long after that night, I got a call from him asking that we meet up. We did and he took me for a meeting in Lagos Island (Shell Office). A director at Shell was retiring and a send-forth party was being held in his honour. My performance fee then was N10,000, Tony pushed it up and convinced the client to pay N30,000 which they paid cash. Prior to this, they had never heard of me and only used me because Tony believed in me and stood up for me, convincing them to buy in.

I was paid in full a week to the show.

After picking up the cash I went straight home. Now here I was, a young comic with his 1st major pay-out of N30,000. Considering the fact that my 1st performance fee was N300 (1%) of what I had in my pocket,I couldn't help but to thank God.

I got home,gave my mum N25,000 and kept N5,000 from which I bought a shirt,pants and shoes from Tejuosho market to wear for the event. Ready for my first big show..

I don’t read the news, I make the news. The thing is people tend to look for loopholes when they see you doing well. And since people feel I’m feminine in nature, then they think I’m gay. But the truth is I don’t really care about what people say because I’m not fashioned according to what the society expects. And also I think for my personality, if I were gay, the news would have grown from speculations and would have been in people’s face.
On the part of Charley Boy and me, I was not expecting the paparazzi that came with the picture.

So what was the picture about then?
I really don’t want to go into details, but it could have been a controversial agenda, it could have a been a publicity stunt, it could have been the real deal and it could have been photoshopped, but whatever it was, people should just go ahead and make their conclusions.

So why is Denrele still single?
I’m a hustler and I’m still trying to get myself together. When the time comes, I’ll get married definitely, but there’s no one in the picture now. I’m searching and ready to mingle.

Who is your ideal woman?
I like someone who would not try to change me and who would understand the complexity that I am. I want someone simple and absolutely free and not intimidated by what I represent.

See that? That face up there? That is the face of fury. At least that’s what Stella Damasus expects us to believe. Two days ago the singer/actress released a video on YouTube, supposedly in response to the #ChildNotBride controversy. I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting; something sincere and insightful, maybe? I can’t say, but what I wasn’t expecting was for it to devolve into an exercise into the kind of pointless histrionics the industry to which she belongs is currently criticised for.


It’s clear from the title “Stella Damasus Spits Fire!” - yes, complete with the exclamation mark – that she intends for us to believe she means business. Erm, okay.


The video goes on for 5 minutes and essentially sees her throwing out fancy insults for the senators (“randy old men,” in her terms) and saying nothing about nothing. Well, apart from herself, of course. She makes sure to let us know how “unafraid” she is – since, you know, making a video about a major Nigerian media phenomenon and uploading it to YouTube, is an act of bravery the kind of which strikes fear into the hearts of men everywhere – how other celebrities don’t have the balls to do what she’s doing, how angry she is, how loud her voice is, how many ways in which she can twist her face to portray “anger”.

Sigh. I don’t know. I just don’t know. It would be admirable for a celebrity to speak up in a sincere manner about an issue as important as this one but in this case, I just can’t take it seriously. This video Stella Damasus has made is a joke because it doesn’t say anything remotely insightful. It’s a perfect representation of the superficial and reactionary posturing that gets us absolutely nowhere.

Consider this; not once during the 5 minute run of this video does Stella Damasus offer any possible solution. Sure, no one expects her to snap her fingers and solve the problems, after all, she’s only one human being (albeit a very angry one) but what would be the point if we all went around screaming bloody murder instead of making an attempt to be constructive? It could be as simple as her saying “go sign the petition” – but no. She does an awful lot of castigation, though. She calls out Patience Jonathan, Senator Yerima, and other celebrities. Hey, that’s all well and good, but, again, what’s the point? If this video is addressed to the public, what are we supposed to do with it? Appreciate Stella Damasus’s anger? And then what? The only logical explanation would be that it was meant for the Senators themselves, which, paradoxically would be even more illogical. Let’s face it, are senators supposed to cower in fear at Stella Damasus? Are they even going to care at all what she says? I mean, will “shameless old men” who , as Ms. Damasus put it, are trying to “impose their evil desires on an entire nation,” give the slightest bit of a damn what an actress has to say? Will they even sit down to watch it?

I think otherwise.

When I was in my early 20's,(don't guess my age)my dad always said,"these small boys wont take you anywhere.They would just use and dump you. Besides,they aren't ready to settle down.Ït's not like I was dating any small boy.As a matter of fact,my then boyfriend was 9 years older than i was(He wasn't married).I was so comfortable around him as he led me on a journey to self discovery.

He was my mentor,friend,brother,father and everything you could think of.He made me believe all men were"faithful".He never cheated(for real).I tired all the tricks in the book to catch him because he felt too good to be true.
BUT,he was too controlling.Didn't let me out of the cage.One fateful day,he left the cage door slightly open,and I flew.I flew away so far that when he found me,he couldn't recognize me.I was no longer the dove he knew me to be(according to his expectations)I was now an owl.


  The thing with younger men is(when I say younger, I mean men who are not emotionally and financially stable to get married),a 26 year old girl is probably ready to settle down,have kids bla bla bla, while her male counterpart of that same age bracket is ready to keep 5 girlfriends,club hop and follow lilwayne on twitter(lol).He has no plans to settle down,talk less of marriage.He just wants to have fun.Except in very rare cases or with the intervention of TB Joshua,that guy would just be with you for a while,and dump you for a younger girl.
So,why waste time when you know,you aint going no where?
The older guy(probably mid 30's) has played life until life has started playing him.He is tired of the different women every night,he has probably seen it all.Its not about beauty now,he is fascinated by the character of whomever he hooks up with.He needs to get married.He sees the beauty in companionship and children.

At this point in time,he needs a lively lady, who makes him laugh(coz he's already bored ).Don't get me wrong,there are still some(hot heads)who would play till they drop.(I no send those ones jor).
Why do most ladies go for older men? Security.I don't think its just about financial security here.I mean,knowing your heart ,family and bank account(ofcourse na)is secured goes a long way in making a woman happy.On the downside,these men are too controlling.I wont mention names,just do a background check on all younger ladies who are married to older men.But,as a friend said Ï'd rather have a controlling older man as a husband,than a cheat,selfish and insensitive man who lets me fly".I think its a small price to pay for emotional stability.
No offence to guys in their teens and early 20's,but you just need to grow up some more.Its not your fault that you hop around from one lady to the other.You are just created to spread your wings at that age.
