.... Reload operating system/change hard disk drive. It could even be your hard disk drive drifting from the connector.

You just collected an/a image/music/video file from a friend and realize the image/music/video won't open.....

This strategy, on few occasions, works for me.

ADD .JPEG OR .MP3 OR .MP4 AT THE END OF THE IMAGE/MUSIC/VIDEO NAME RESPECTIVELY!....
Eg: 6564_201712image11dec201714325_jpeg54 transforms to...

6564_201712image11dec201714325_jpeg54.jpeg. You may, for convenience, change the name to something shorter, like 2goats.jpg
