Search for your preferred type, hit the agent or landlord up via email and explain your circumstances that you are an international student coming in for the first time.

You'll typically need a guarantor to getone though but you can still make pre-atrival plans to get somewhere on the interim.

I have a friend who just graduated from Sheffield though but trust out naija people have showed him so it is difficult to recommend to him for help now. His family usually house new arrivals for a while till they find their footing.

I'm considering that option but the policy is with effect from the 22nd of this September.

Yea, I plan to fly on the 25th or 26th so that should work. EgyptAir is the cheapest available option.
