Hypocrisy is all I see here... In saner countries, they create council flats to reduce housing shortages, but here, when they create housing projects, they make it unaffordable for the common man, now they're talking about exploitative landlords.

The only thing they should do is to make sure agents do not charge above 10% for their commission and they need to make sure "agreement fees" are not charged cos that's illegal. They cannot regulate any other thing cos they're not the ones who bought building materials for the landlord.

I paid N1.5m on entry. I renovated the place, changed doors and added other things, including POP and then landlady increased my rent to N3m after a year. How do you justify that?
