The accused who happens to be the uncle of the little girls usually go with the girls to the bush where he claims he wants them to assist him in fetching fire wood for their mother and then takes advantage of them, according to a report by Idoma Voice.

It was gathered that the mother of the girls, who is also a nurse noticed changes in her children as she examined them to know what has happened to them after which the girls revealed what their uncle has been doing to them.

The family of the accused according to the local community security, said that they just want him to be thoroughly flogged and then sent back to his village in Ado local government area of Benue state.

It's a sad moment for family and friends of Mr. Nnamdi Obasi, the second son of Vice Chancellor of Imo State University, Prof Adaobi Obasi who died early on Sunday (yesterday) of complications arising from a recent surgery conducted by a hospital in Owerri, Imo state capital. The father of one who got married less than two years ago, was reportedly seen full of life during the inauguration / lunching of Elfreeda Foundation recently in Imo State.

His friends have taken to their Facebook walls to mourn the deceased. May his soul rest in peace.

16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?

22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?

23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.

24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

I agree with you that faith without works is dead but need i remind u that the saying 'heanen helps those who help themselves' is not scriptural and does not apply in all contex.

There is nothing to learn. Nigerian men can only attract old white cargoes because the young pretty white women will not look at them and their chauvinistic nature twice. White women tolerate no disrespect from men talk less of African men. Go and see how Naija men abroad carry all the shopping bags while the white wife just strolls on the street. If it were a Naija woman they married now, they will treat her like one glorified housemaid to be maltreated and cheated on because Naija society condones such behavior.
