Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha on Friday released the list of guests invited for the conferment of national honours on Chief Moshood Abiola, late prominent lawyer, Gani Fawehinmi and politician, Babagana Kingibe.


The event will hold on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Conference Hall, State House, Aso Rock Villa, Abuja at 10.00 am

A statement Mustapha signed said: “Accordingly, Ambassador Babagana Kingibe, the family of the late Bashorun M.K.O. Abiola and that of Chief Gani Fawehinmi , along with the underlisted key players of June 12 struggle are cordially invited:

Considering the roles played by Bashir Tofa and his running mate Sylvester Ugoh of NRC in the June 12 presidential election, I would Luke to advise the President and FG to please invite Alh. Bashir Tofa and his running mate as well as other NRC chieftains to grace the occasion slated for June 12 2018 for award of honour to Abiola and Co.

This is in spirit of National Unity and politics without bitterness.As this is no longer defunct SDP affair.
