University education in the country has become a tall order. This is not so because of the quality of what one expects to get out of a university education, but a very misplaced understanding of the act of running a school system. One is often amazed at what comes out of our universities. What we see is a bastardized order laced with politics at worst. It has become a matter of regret to be registered in any of these schools as a student. If Nigeria is to be better than she is today, something must be done to stem the present rot. VCs sit in their offices doing nothing to repair the lack of synergy between the industry and the academia.

PDP still licking its wounnds after their first ever defeat in a presidential election, instead of getting together, rub minds, brainstorm and re-strategise for the future, members have started abandoning the party for supposed “greener pasture”. How pathetic can people be! These so called politicians only have their interest to serve, not that of those who elected them. No wonder politics in this country is far from being ideology based.....
