*Jessica Rene Tata, the Nigerian day care owner who escaped from America
has been jailed.*

http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2011/03/22/u-s-jails-nigerian-fugitive/jessica-tata-3/

Jessica Tata

She was escorted into the Harris County Jail yesterday in handcuffs
after she was re-arrested.

The 22-year-old Houston woman arrived about 1:15 a.m. in a convoy of
Harris County sheriff’s patrol cars and unmarked sport utility vehicles.

Tata, who was wearing a body armor vest, said nothing as she was taken
into the jail in the middle of a crowd of investigators with the Gulf
Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force.

Christina Garza, a sheriff’s office spokeswoman, said Tata will be kept
in a single person cell while at the jail.

“That’s for her safety,” Garza said. “The safety of any high-profile
inmate is always of concern to us.”

About 35 minutes earlier Tuesday, Tata arrived at Hooks Airport,
according to news accounts. She returned to U.S. soil shortly after 5
a.m. Monday when law enforcement authorities brought her to Atlanta,
Ga., landing at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on a flight
from Lagos International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria, according to the
U.S. Marshals Service.

Tata is wanted on 14 charges — four charges of manslaughter, six charges
of reckless injury to a child, three charges of abandoning a child under
15, and a federal charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution – in
connection with the Feb. 24 blaze at Jackie’s Child Care in west Houston.

While in Atlanta, Tata, a U.S. citizen born in Harris County who has
relatives in Nigeria, waived extradition to Texas during a hearing
Monday morning before a magistrate judge, Fulton County Sheriff’s
Department officials said.

She is accused of leaving seven children unattended and oil cooking on
the stove at a home-based day care at 2810 Crest Park while she shopped
at a Target. She fled before being charged in the case. The three
children who survived the fire were seriously injured.

The U.S. Marshals Service reported Tata was “captured” Saturday in Port
Harcourt, Nigeria by Interpol and U.S Department of State Diplomatic
Security agents. But the wanted woman’s brother, Ron Tata, 26, of
Houston, said Jessica Tata surrendered to authorities Saturday.

The family’s relatives in Nigeria reported U.S. Consulate workers in
Lagos traveled to Port Harcourt to take her into custody, Ron Tata said.

But a statement released Monday by the U.S. Marshals Service said two
Interpol agents based in Lagos arrested Tata.

“Based on these leads, the IP-Lagos agents were able to locate Tata and
take her into custody,” the U.S. Marshal’s Service news release said Monday.

Early Tuesday, Deputy U.S. Marshal Alfredo Perez, a spokesman for the
agency’s Houston office, said Tata was captured. Officials at Interpol’s
Nigeria office could not be reached Monday.

The day care fire on Feb. 24 killed 3-year-old Shomari Leon Dickerson,
19-month-old Elizabeth Kajoh, 20-month-old Kendyll Stradford and
16-month-old Elias Castillo.

The Houston Fire Department was summoned to the residence by a 911 call
at 1:29 p.m. that day. Arson investigators determined the blaze was
caused by a pan of oil that ignited after being left on a stove burner.

Surveillance video recovered from the Target store by investigators
showed Tata was not at the house when the fire started, a federal
criminal complaint shows. A witness at the fire told investigators that
Tata said no other employee was at the day care, the complaint said.

Gaming10 Cases Of Extreme Video Game Addiction by Mobinga(op): 12:03pm On Mar 17, 2011
Video games can be very addicting; in fact, some people accuse developers of making the games addictive on purpose. The following are 10 cases of video game addiction that get more and more extreme.

10 - Skipping School

I’ve skipped school before, but this kid takes the cake for the most elaborate excuse. A 15-year-old from Perth, Australia, skipped school to play online games for over 16 hours a day, over a full three weeks. How did he do this? Every morning he put on his school uniform until his mother went to work. As soon as she left, he would change out of it and started playing. His mother would return home after he was supposed to have come home from school. To cover for himself at school, he had informed the school he was having surgery. His parents finally caught on to his ruse when the school contacted them to check up on him.

9 - Teen Burns Classmate

How many of us have gotten into a schoolyard scuffle? We’ve all been there, but a boy in Beijing took it to the next level. Apparently having lost himself in the game, World of Warcraft, he “became” a fire mage in his mind, and set his classmate on fire. For those who don’t play World of Warcraft, I’m sure it’s fairly easy to deduce what a fire mage does by putting two and two together.

8 - Fifty-Hour Starcraft Session

I’ve pulled all-nighters before while playing games, but a man in South Korea almost pulled off three all-nighters…in a row. After a 50-hour Starcraft session, the South Korean man collapsed and died from heart failure. It was presumed that his death was caused by exhaustion, because he had only stopped to use the washroom and for short periods of sleep. There have been other cases in China where people have been playing anywhere from 3 to 15 days. However I chose to include this one because it received attention from a major news agency.

7 - Suicide over a Game

On December 27, 2004, Xioyi left a suicide note saying he wanted “to join the heroes of the game he worshiped.” The thirteen-year-old then jumped off a tall building after playing World of Warcraft for 36 hours straight. His parents are now suing the Chinese distributors of the game for $12,500.

6 - Girl Dies Because of Neglect

A three-year-old South Korean girl died of neglect when her parents spent more time raising a virtual girl than her. The game they had been playing was Prius Online, a game similar to Second Life where players work virtual jobs and well… live a second, virtual, life. The couple had left for a 12-hour gaming session at an internet café, leaving their daughter unattended. Upon returning home, they found her dead.

5 - Twins Die Because of Neglect

Similar to number six on this list, a man left his twins in the bathtub as he went to play on his Gameboy Advance. Gregg J. Kleinmark is facing up to 10 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter.

4 - Man Stabbed to Death

Qiu Chengwei stabbed Zhu Caoyuan to death after Caoyuan had sold Chenwei’s virtual sword in the game Legend of Mir 3. Caoyuan had offered the money to Chenwei, but Chenwei lost his temper and stabbed Caoyuan while he slept. While China has no laws to deal with the theft of virtual property, some countries (such as South Korea) have a section of their police force that investigates in-game crime. This makes it to the list because the murder was committed over some pixels on a computer screen. Chengwei has been given a suspended death sentence for his crime.

3 - Teen Kills Woman for Money

In Vietnam, a thirteen year old boy was arrested after he killed and robbed an 81-year-old woman for $6.20. The boy confessed that he had done it because he needed money to play an online game. He strangled the woman with a piece of rope and took the money from her, before burying her in a pile of sand in front of his house. This ranks at #3 because it involves someone of such a young age committing murder for a video game. [News article]

2 - Teen Murders Mother over Halo 3

Seventeen-year-old Daniel Petric murdered his mother and injured his father after they refused to let him play Halo 3. The previous entries and most of the entries on this list are related to massive multiplayer online games, but I chose to include an Xbox first person shooter game because of how he murdered his mother. Petric walked into his parents’ room and said “Would you close your eyes? I have a surprise for you,” before shooting his father between the eyes. This eerie line sounds like it came straight out of a horror movie.

1 - Shawn Woolley

This is the most controversial entry on the list, and it is the subject of numerous debates. That is why it ranks at number one. On Thanksgiving, Shawn Woolley committed suicide, and his mother claimed that it was over Everquest, a popular MMORPG. Sony Online, the game’s developer, says that Everquest had nothing to do with the death. Liz Woolley, however, disagrees. She suspects that something in the game had pushed him over the edge, either a rejection or a betrayal.

Why should I go further? I saw the beach in you when you put your picture on the internet (NL) trying to convince absolutely anonymous people that you are the finest on the site? Is that how a MAN should behave? Not to talk of what you write "real Man" ?

You are a disgrace. I don't even know how you are allowed to input the words "Real" and "Man".

@Rasputinn well said.

The Stephen Hawking dude is one unfortunate fellow. His Black holes, Cosmos-Intellect can't get him a new body and yet he says there is no God. He has said that over a million times, good, so shut up. Ironic how atheists are the ones who mention "God" most.

I personally think there are two kinds of men :

1 - Those who where intelligently designed by God eg Me  cool
2 - Those who evolved from Apes! eg Hawking

Little wonder why "Science" and "Scientists" have failed woefully in the area of brain transplants (simply put, Soul Transplants). The nerves are the weakest in man. And they say they evolved from monkeys??!! - Wow! Those things are not by "Chance"! No such thing as "Chance"

https://www.gearfuse.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/stephen-hawking.jpg

I've continuously studied myself to see If I have evolved to a higher specie, to no avail.  grin Ha!
Ok! On to the next one!

Anyone Know about Edgar Cayce? Yes? No?

Don't call me a conspiracy theorist, but, I watched sometime in the early years of this millennium circa 2001, a documentary on the End. Apparently Edgar Cayce, a sleeping-psychic who made predictions of - WWI and WWII which were both accurate, he said

Due to the shifting of the Earth's magnetic poles and natural disasters, dramatic changes such as this will occur:

"The Earth will be broken up in the western portion of America. The greater portion of Japan must go into the sea. The upper portion of Europe will be changed as in the twinkling of an eye. Land will appear off the east coast of America. When there is the first breaking up of some conditions in the South Sea and those as apparent in the sinking or rising of that that's almost opposite same, or in the Mediterranean, and the Etna area, then we many know it has begun."
