ALLOWING TINUBU TO RIG HIMSELF BACK INTO ASO ROCK WILL BE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE NIGERIANS WOULD MAKE IN THEIR LIFE TIME. If you are not planning to Jappa or cannot even Jappa in the next 1 to 4 years, then take this election like your life depends on it cause it literally depends on it. If you like collect 10k on election day and vote APC, body go tell una for the next 4 years. See anyone campaigning or intending to vote for Tinubu like someone threatening your existence on earth. I REPEAT, ALLOWING TINUBU TO RIG HIMSELF BACK INTO ASO WILL BE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE NIGERIANS WOULD MAKE IN THEIR LIFE TIME. |
Omo, reading through this story is scary. I was beginning to miss Naija but reading through this story and seeing how young folks embrace suffering, I ain't coming back to Naija anytime soon. I hate heat, I can't stay without electricity, water, fast internet and I certainly can't stand stupid people in extremely large numbers. I once told my wife that if I was to still be in Nigeria, I will be very depressed and I don't want to be when I come back cos I know things are worse. Make una enjoy una Tinubu dey go. If una like make una vote am for another 4 years. Just so you know, more than 60% of the deaths in Nigeria are avoidable if we were to have working emergency services and a good healthcare system. May God bless the country that open its door and heart to me and God open a way for every sensible Nigerian to leave the country. |
SmartPolician:All what you wrote up there is nonsense. Let me debunk them one after the other. 1. Affordable housing What makes it affordable? Houses where you have light 2 - 3 hours a day, no pipe borne water, and soak away fills up regularly. Bros, abeg shift.2. Extremely cheap medical services Have you gone to a private hospital to treat yourself before? Government hospitals that are dilapidated, insufficient beds, no electricity to run the hospitals and where doctors jappa from every day?3. Cheap foodstuffs Where are the jobs to give people the earning power to buy the food stuffs? Are farmers not afraid to go to the farms so that fulani herdsmen and bandits don't harrass and kill them?4. You don't have to deal with racism What about the tribalism between Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo. Abi you never see Yoruba landlord saying I don't rent my houses to Igbo people and vice versa. Tribalism in Nigeria is way worse than racism in the west.5. You can commit crimes and get away with it Lets not even talk about this one. Nigeria is a lawless country where evil thrives and good people suffer.6. You are not worried of environmental disasters like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, conflagrations, etc. ? What about flooding during the raining season along states Kogi, Delta, Edo, Benue, Lagos and the others.7. You don't have to struggle living in a very cold weather. This right here is the only thing going for us that is positive. Our weather is friendly all year round. But the heat can be so discomforting without electricity and an AC. 8. You live a balanced life, not work, work and work all time. You visit your village, hang out with friends whom you grew up with and go to church. Well this is also another positive thing going for us. Our communal lifestyle is admirable as opposed to the individualistic lifestyle of the west. However, crime and insecurity is robbing this positive away from us very fast.8. On a lighter note, you have access to any women of your choice grin Nonsense talk. Women are everywhere. Moreso, unemployment and poverty in Nigeria has created a huge immoral industry where sex is a commodity. |
OP has reached his breaking point. I reached mine sometime around late 2020 and early 2021 and finally jappa in 2023. Staying in Abuja, I remember buying Mai-ruwa when PHCN refuses to give us light sometimes for 2 - 3 days straight and we couldn't pump water. Neighbours who had Gen were doing shakara because I was using inverter and had no Gen. Repairing my car shocks, inner cup, stabilizer linkage and suspensions made spare parts sellers and mechanics at Apo my friends. Damn...Nigeria was hard then, I finally knew this was no way to live and I had to escape. All these was then o, under Buhari. Now, I can only imagine what the misery and hardship is like with fuel at N800+ @OP, draw up a solid one year plan on escaping Nigeria because if Tinubu returns for another 4 years, the experience you've just narrated will be good compared to the what is to come in his second tenure. Let him that have an ear hear. On another note, I hope you were not one of those who campaigned and voted for this current disaster. |
budaatum:I really do like your approach. Getting them off screens is usually almost like a fight many parents are not willing to start or sustain. And when you do, you almost notice withdrawal symptoms similar to addicted drug users going through detox. Nowadays in church, teens no longer bring paper bibles to church. Its all in their phones. Meanwhile, even though I have a tablet and an iphone with several translations on it, my big KJV bible must follow me to church. I recall sometime late last year sitting next to a teen (he should be between 15 - 17 year old) in church and dude had an ear piece on and was navigating between Instagram, TikTok and Facebook all through the service and pretending he was following the sermon. I wanted to report him to his mum but wifey advised me against it. Weeks later, another woman mentioned it during a departmental meeting that all teens and young adults should bring their paper bibles to church and their parents were to enforce it as what she experienced sitting besides one was exactly what I experienced too. |
HacheNoire:A 10 year old which you said is already doing wonders on python, Java and html is still a child whichever way you look at it. While it may appear great now, I assure you it is not. Now he may be spending upwards of 5 hours everyday coding and staring at screens, taking gigs and thinking of money when he should be interacting with his peers and learning social skills he will need later in life. If he picked this skill up early and relatively effortlessly, he still needs to be guided, monitored and mentored with his screen time regulated. |
I look at the generation of my kids and I feel sad for them majorly because unbeknownst to them, I think technology destroyed the fun of being a child for them. A few days ago, a report came out that the Gen Z’s are the least intelligent generation who couldn’t do better than the immediate previous generation. This report shouldn’t shock anyone. Today, fun for kids is all about screens – they literally get lost spending hours without end on tiktok, youtube, Instagram, facebook, snapchat, AI’s and many other social vices. Back in my days, our best bet at screens was watching Ninja movies or wrestling on black and white TVs through the windows of neighbours. If this was not the case, we were outdoors inventing plays to keep our minds busy with games like War Start, Police and Thief, Monkey Post, Cover bottle Soccer played on smoothly cemented floors, flying kites on the street, riding wheel with clothes hanger, playing skipping ropes, building cars with woods and cartons, shooting rubber bands, hunting lizards with catapults, or if these were not the case, we were playing ‘mama and papa’ play with girls our age and cooking play food with tin tomatoes containers as pots…damn, recalling and writing all these brings smile to my face. What a childhood we had! Today, the above is not the case as the average 4 to 25 year olds are hooked on screens all-day-long. Take the screens from them and they are completely useless to themselves and the society. I really don’t envy this generation even though I would do all I can within my power to snatch my kids from the technology ruining the childhood of today’s kids. For this very reason, I will be delaying the age when my kids would have a phone of their own and even when I do get them a phone, it will be a basic phone like an old skool Nokia phone where the most advanced game they can play is snake and the rat while I train their minds and bodies with games like Chess, Scrabble, Badminton, Table Tennis, Swimming and Soccer. What’s your take on this, would you rather be born in the Gen Z era or you are ok with your generation? |
I'm a Nigerian and I currently live in one of the coldest provinces in Canada with no plans to return back to Nigeria any time soon as it is clear that Nigeria has become over 10 times worse since I left Nigeria about 4 years ago. The current average life expectancy of Canadians is 83 years versus 55 years for Nigerians. The question that begs for answer therefore is that what are the factors that are responsible for this great difference in average life expectancy. I may not be able to point to all, but from my close observation having lived in both countries, I have noticed that one major reason for this is DIET. First thing I noticed is that Canadians have access to lots of fruits and vegetables and these are not just for a select few but they are available and affordable to everybody in the society. It might shock us as Nigerians to know that even though banana doesn't grow in Canada, Canadians eat way more Banana that Nigerians do. Banana (whether organic or GMO) is available to Canadians every single day of the year. Same with Plantains. As a matter of fact, I learnt how to bake Banana bread because often times, you may have over ripe bananas at home which may not be edible but could be only be used for one thing - Banana bread. So without learning how to bake banana bread, you will have lots of banana getting rotten and thrown away at home. On the flip side, as one who stayed in Abuja, Nigeria and driving through Berger I remember buying Banana from women and girls hulking banana around the Utako market. Back then it was usually for around N1,000 to N1,500 for a decent bunch. I don't know how much they may be now with the worsened state of the economy. In Canada, you can buy one or two fingers of banana if that is your wish. In Nigeria, you dare not as you will immediately be cursed by the sellers. There are far far more fruits and vegetables that Canadians eat that Nigerians would have no access to. The second reason I think Canadians have better health compared to Nigerians is because of their access to proteins compared to Nigerians. By proteins, I mean eggs, milks, chicken, meat and fish. Their milk here is majorly a sugarless liquid in 1 to 4 liters compared to the sweetened powdered and tin milk we have in Nigeria. The average Canadian drinks milk like water compared to a Nigerian and you can be sure of the nutrients in the milk as their dairy industry is heavily protected and regulated with price ceilings specified by the government. My summary therefore is that nutritious food availability is one of the major reasons why a resident of one country may live longer compared to a resident of another country. What do you think. Let me hear your thoughts. |
jchioma:This should tell you something. Its a spiritual issue. The people have become docile and insensitive like sheep taken to the slaughter. Its almost like someone has traded the lives of citizens to an evil entity or deity for political power and now the entity is taking what has been offered to him. The physical playout being carried out through crime by kidnappers or terrorists is just an expression of a spiritual transaction concluded long before now. If you are in Nigeria, make sure you are spiritually standing strong in Christ in your personal lives and not just with mouth - I am not talking going to church o because that is what most Nigerians equal Christian spirituality to. Study your bible personally hard and Fast and Pray and live righteously before God in your heart. Proverbs says "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the LORD will not hear me". So don't even think that you can think/do rubbish during the day and kneel down to pray at night and God will hear you. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Emphasis on "a righteous man" The summary is that - A strongman has gripped your country. So men ought always to pray and not faint lest you become a victim. Selah |
Medicine after death.... I strongly believe the entire Nigeria is under a strong spell...Death, Suffering, Misery and Poverty everywhere. Who shall deliver Nigeria? |
Officiating is obviously very very poor in this game. |
More emphasis on Riches and Poverty. I find most of Pastor Chris' message to be for spiritually immature Christians due to his ministry's emphasis on prosperity. Jesus Christ did not come to make poor people rich, or to relieve oppressed citizens from the bondage of their governments. He came to deliver mankind from the power of Satan, death and from the bondage of sin and to invite us to be his disciples by daily taking up his cross (denying our soul-life) and following him. |
Reading through people's comment here just made me smile. It truly shows that over 95% of Nigerians are financial illiterates. No wonder the country is the poverty capital of the world. First of all, she made the best decision anyone could make. Do you guys even know what an annuity is? Do a research and find out the average life expectancy of a Canadian woman. This works out to be 84 years. So if in the next 20 years, she cashes out $1m, she still has another 44 years to earn $1k per week. Mind you this is not Nigeria where average life expectancy is 54 years and where Kidnappers, armed robbers, car accidents and literally 1,000 ways to die exist. Also to note that while death is certain for everyone there is a probability that she may also die before the next 20 years but this probability is low because of the country where she lives and there is also a probability that she may also live to 95 or even 100 years. On the flip side, if she collects the whole lump sum today, taxes will probably take 40% leaving her with circa 600k. Statistically, it has been found out like someone mentioned above that over 90% of lottery winners go broke after 2 - 3 years. Being a woman, after taking the lump sum, she might immediately find a "new handsome boyfriend" as the love of her life who would drain her or she would personally make one or two reckless financial decision which will take her back to square one in about 5 years time. Some persons talk about buying a house and renting it out which is not a bad idea but what if your tenant moves out and you can't find a new tenant fast, have you considered what property taxes are? have you considered repair and maintenance cost of a house? If she buys the house outright, it will be an asset but if she uses mortgage, a house is not an asset - the bank is your new landlord until your pay up in 25 years. Lastly, some persons talked about the company folding up in 2 - 5 years time. Canada is not Nigeria where companies fold up anyhow. There are companies in Canada that have been in existence for the past over 130 years. Besides, the investment would not be tied to any company but in trusts and government funds. Too many Nigerians have a mentality of get-rich-quick but this is not how true wealth is built. True lasting wealth takes time to build. See Dangote, Jeff Bezos and Warren Buffet as examples. Theft of the collective wealth of Nigerians through politics and corruption has destroyed our perception of wealth. In summary, the lady in question made the best choice as she can afford to retire from work anytime she likes knowing her financial future is settled until her death. |
Pastor Chris has successfully created a cult for himself out of Christianity. What a shame! Followers of Pst Chris, be very careful..you guys are already on a slippery slope. And the worst thing is that you cannot come out of a cult when you don't even know you are in a cult in the first place. |
MadamExcellency:I believe you were offended mainly because your church or dear "MOG" was mentioned. You know, I was part of the system too and now I can't just believe how I was ignorant and deceived for sooo long. Sit down at home, get a king James plus 3 other simple translations of the bible and take the reading of your bible seriously and prayerfully. Perhaps, light will come. Leave Nigerian churches and their doctrines alone. If you find like minds, meet in your sitting room and share the scriptures for one or two hours once or twice a week. |
Every sunday without fail, millions of Nigerians troop to churches in the southern part of Nigeria not out of their love for God but mostly out of a search for hope to survive a failed and broken system characterized by greed, lust for power, insatiable appetite for money and a desire to be a 'lord and master' over others. It is no longer news that Nigeria is a failed country. This was evidence in the recent outburst of President Donald Trump calling Nigeria "a now disgraced country" Now the question that begs for answers is "Why has Nigerians not revolted and protested against the inhumane treatment from their government? The answer stares you in the face - "The Church". The first thing we must note is that churches in Nigeria unlike the first century church is run like a business enterprise using the franchise model for expansion. Their main goal is to sell you HOPE while they milk their congregation from their hard earned money in the form of; 1.) Seeds 2.) Offerings 3.) Tithe 4.) Partnerships 5.) First Fruit 6.) Building Project 7.) Pastor's birthday Popular lines from most of them are: " "This week is your week" "I see somebody returning next month with a testimony" and the whole congregation shouts a thundering "Amen". "Celebration will not leave your house" "Doors of favour and opportunity are opening unto you" "You will receive that call this week" "That person owing you money will call to return the money" "You will not have an accident this week" On and On and On the false prophecies and prayers go with the congregations charged as they shout "AMEN" For millions of Nigerians, they see this false hope as a supernatural intervention in the form of an escape from the woes and failures of their government forgetting that God will not do for man what man can do for himself. Since the corrupt government has silently learned of this powerful psychological means of controlling the population, they have now befriended and induce many of the popular Pastors/GOs and their 'sons' and 'grand sons' in ministry to keep the people continiously hoping for a better tomorrow which will never come while they loot the nation's treasury dry and share the crumbs with these so called "Pastors" who in turn milk their congregation. To buttress my point (at the risk of offending many of you) imagine the millions of people being indirectly influenced from Aso Rock using your popular Pastor and their sons. Imagine the millions of people being indirectly influence by; David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel Enoch Adeboye of RCCG Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy W.F Kumuyi of Deeper Life Jerry Eze of NSPPD Paul Enenche of Dunamis David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministries Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christian Church Paul Adefarasin of House on the Rock Daniel Olukoya of Mountain on Fire The Anglican Church The Catholic Church On and On and On the list goes.... Now make no mistake, even though some of these Pastors openly speak against the government from the pulpit, they have a back door relationship with the Politicians and government to help keep the people from protesting and rioting - reason I call them hypocrites. My understanding and theory therefore is that if the restraint - (the corrupt church pastors) is taken off, all hell will break lose leading to a revolt against the government and the liberation for Nigeria will come quickly - howbeit, not without a price. We must note that the north is already a boiling pot and the muslims have no problem whatsoever with a protest. Their only problem is illiteracy and lack of critical thinking. See these failure below: Insecurity, Kidnapping Terrorism Low life expectancy Poor Healthcare Poor Roads Road Accidents Power Failure Unemployment Inflation Poor Education... Every one of the above are man-made problem and God will not come down to solve it for any nation. He already gave us intellect to use. So when next you hear a call for "A national day of Prayer to pray for the Nation", or a cold silence from your dear MOG, know you are being indirectly influenced by the government to be docile. Let me hear your thoughts in the comments below. |
Mathewrichard99:Not true, there are still true Patroits but their numbers are so small they are almost negligible. Maybe like 5 out of every 10,000 which is 0.0005% Nnamdi Kanu is one...You can't buy that guy even with 500 billion naira Peter Obi is another...That's why he is called Okwute. Patroits have hearts of steel, you can't bend them or break them. They would rather die than go against their principles. I left Nigeria during Buhari's administration after the endsars protest of 2020 when it became clear Nigeria is doomed. Personally, if I was to still be in the country, I'm sure I would have been arrested and locked up because of my refusal to keep quiet. I would be against everyone and I would have been sad and depressed like the prophet Jeremiah. |
DSS1335:A country of hypocrites. As VDM always say "You all gonna learn the hard way." Street Hawker - Hypocrite Restaurant Owner - Hypocrite Civil Servants - Hypocrite Small Business Owners - Hypocrite Pastors - Hypocrite Bishops - Hypocrite Imams - Hypocrite Ward Councillors - Hypocrite Local Government Chairmen - Hypocrite State Commissioners - Hypocrite Governors - Hypocrite House of Rep members - Hypocrite Senators - Hypocrite Ministers - Hypocrite VP - Hypocrite President - Hypocrite |
jerryunit48:No offence o but if you are a man, I need to ask if you are normal. How can a man sit down and pee? What is wrong with you? |
When evil calls evil evil... If you know, you know! The thief cometh not but for to Steal, Kill and Destroy. |
And yet some people think Jappa is all about making money. I laugh in french. The peace of mind and sanity of living in a decent society far trumps the money you hope to make in Nigeria. |
"You must prize the Word of God above all else because there’s so much you will never know or understand otherwise. Focus on what truly matters—your study and meditation on the Word and your fellowship with the Holy Spirit. It’ll keep you always on the path of ever-increasing glory, victory, success and prosperity, and you’ll live a life that truly pleases and honours the Lord." Everything preached is correct but you see the bolded part above, that is what is wrong with this and many other of Pastor Chris' message. People want to follow Jesus Christ not because they love him or his Kingdom but because of Success, Victory and Prosperity on Earth, all of which Jesus never promised. If you are of this world, the world would love it's own. But because you are not of the world, the world would persecute you because you are not of the world. If your Pastor is fraternising with the world and enjoying all the pleasures of this world using this wealth of this world - think again, Jesus was modest and was not wealth flaunting. Note: I was a Christ embassy member in PH under Evang Eddy way back, in Warri in under Pst. Siji way back, in Benin under Rev Tom way back...so I go wayyy back with this ministry before God opened my eyes. |
Ronaldo is just unfortunate to have been born in the same generation with Messi. Just a 20 years before or after Messi and he would have been the best in his own time. |
In whatever you do as a christian, always remember Colossian 2:8 "Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ". |
Back then in Uniben, me and one of my guy tried starting up a campus fellowship. We called ourselves Pastors and used lecture theatres in Pharmacy and Medicals for fellowship meetings. We usually rented speakers, microphone, keyboard and some students joined us. I think the maximum number we got then was around 30 students. After service, we usually went back to our hostels tired and shared the offerings and tithes between ourselves after removing the money for renting of speakers, microphone and keyboards. If we had grown the fellowship and became GOs, imagine the stream of income it would have become today. I stopped within a year after my conscience pricked me. So what Abel Damina is saying is 100% true....I subscribe to giving offerings which is a free will thing but you see that tithe thing...Pastors should tell me if they are levites. |

Let's get some things clear first and foremost - The "gift" which is the gift of divination which the OP has is clearly not from God as God doesn't operate that way and allows people see into the spiritual perpetually at will. If the "gift" is not from God, then it is from the other side, and the other side doesn't give gifts. If they give anything, it comes with a huge price. The OP may have done absolutely nothing to get this, but her ancestors (grand parents and great grand parents or even farther down the line) definitely had a transaction with the other side. Then the OP said she has black smoke just as she has noticed even children and babies sometimes possess black smoke. So it means that black smoke people who are rare are not really bad in themselves but perhaps someone or something otherworldly has put a tag on them - more like an ownership tag. The OP said she doesn't notice the smoke around dead people which only means one thing - the soul has checked out. Anyone who doesn't have a smoke can thus be deduced to have no soul or it's also possible that the spiritual entity powering the gifts in her is lying (we know who the father of lie is). Now as strange as all this might appear, it is as well scary to believe. But things are what they are. Lastly, I don't subscribe to the idea of asking the OP if you or the pictures of others have smokes in them as that could have serious spiritual implications. I don't have enough information from the OP to discuss about the Orange coloured people but I must admit I am intrigued at the black smoke people and the no smoke people. |
So I have carefully followed this thread from the beginning and I have my theories. By the way, the OP passed a test by acknowledging that she has a black smoke herself. So here's my theory, its drawn from the bible. The bible is actually filled with ALL truths if we probe carefully. Let's start with the soul of man. What is the soul? According the Gen 2:7, God made man from the dust of the earth which is now our earthly bodies and then breathed (introduced his spirit) into man's nostrils and the man became a LIVING SOUL. Thus, the soul is a creation that came into existence when the breath of God (spirit) mingled with the earthly dust that God formed and man became a Living soul. This soul is now the true man as it takes on a personality of itself and it is this personality that Jesus said we should hate if we want to keep our life unto the coming age. At death, the spirit (breath of God) returns back to God, the body goes back to the dust and the soul to await judgement and give account of itself (the parable of the rich man and Lazarus is a pointer) Now, Jesus said something striking in the parable of the sower. That while men slept, the enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat. The angels wanted to remove the tares but the master declined and said no, let both of them grow together until an appointed time. Parables use symbolism to reveal deeper truths. Wheat and Tares are two types or symbols of people. From what the OP has narrated so far, those without smoke, are like a glitch in a computer system, they were introduced without the permission or authority of the creator thus, they could not have his stamp of approval - the soul. It is a sad reality because I have known that many of these creepy beings are among us now and will only multiply according to the parable of Jesus. Without the OP saying much, I knew that the footballer in question was Messi cos I have once questioned myself if that dude was a human. The Entertainment industry is where most of these people have found a home. I also have creepy feelings when I visit Instagram, watch "E" in DSTV and know for a fact that many pornstars don't have souls. These are not things your pastor would preach or things you hear in church, you find them out for yourself. |
Goldensword:No she didn't. She carefully avoided the question multiple times. And this could only mean one thing - either both of them are black smoke or one of them is. |
superCleanworks:When Mohbad died, y'all knew the way to the streets to Protest. Keep waiting for me to tell you where to go. |

What makes it affordable? Houses where you have light 2 - 3 hours a day, no pipe borne water, and soak away fills up regularly. Bros, abeg shift.
