Nigeria has absolutely no right to arrest, try or prosecute anyone for forgery, identity theft and narcotics. It's a banana republic. Make we carry dey go since this is the kind of country we want.

The love of self makes mortal man to over-estimate himself and his worth. However in reality, man is but far far less than 1/100,000^100,000th in value to God. Self, like someone posted above is an enemy because it is the fertile ground for all the offspring and growth of the life of the natural man. This is the reason why Jesus said if "If any man must follow him, that man must deny himself" To "deny yourself" is to deny yourself all the natural inclinations, perks and source of power that flows through your human nature.

It is this over estimation of man and self that makes the Psalmist upon realizing the greatness of God and the uselessness of man say in Psalm 8, "What is man that thou are mindful of man or the son of man that thou visitest him?

This knowledge of knowing that we are nothing is the beginning of all spiritual knowledge as will be guided by the Holy Ghost.

Therefore, @OP keep probing and thinking deeply about life and the meaning of life, perhaps, God wants you to know something and come to a realization but you must listen and ask for his help to understand whatever he chooses to reveal.

@OP, your write up shows you are a deep thinker who thinks about the after life as much as they think about life here on earth. I'm that way too, in the end, we are all sand and dust and we must return to the earth no matter the beauty, affluence, wealth and lifestyle we display on this plane.

Your finding was Solomon's finding also that prompted him to write the book of Ecclesiastes.

Sister, flee for your soul. Homosexuality or LGBTQ is an affront on the design of God. It is intended to be used by higher wicked powers as an affront or a way to mock and insult God.

Sadly, many people are being willing tools. It didn't just begin today, it started in the book of Genesis introduced to man by the fallen angels. God is forgiving and slow to anger but his wrath against all wickedness and ungodliness is sure. And trust me, no one, not even the seas, hills and mountains want to be an object of the wrath of God.

Marriage between a man and a woman was designed and instituted by God to teach the fallen Angels lessons about Authority and Subjection but now they have corrupted it and selling it to men to practice in order to mock God. But God cannot be mocked.

Once again, I say Flee for your soul. Don't pray. Flee like Joseph fled from Portiphars wife. After you have fled, you can then begin to pray asking God to remove your friend from around you. Remember, evil has a much stronger power in this world and it easily corrupts good morals.

There is a time for prayer and there is a time to FLEE.

Shalom

@OP, as a result of the Cultist activites your wife engaged in while in school, all the midnite meeting sessions, incantations, violence and rituals, she has definitely introduced very strong demons into herself. Sometimes, the effects of demonic possession can easily be confused for mental cases. When they tell people not to indulge in Cultism they think its just the physical aspect you're talking about.

Hello guys, pls help me out, my wife applied to WES Canada to have her credentials evaluated. She logged into her account to check her status and it showed 'waiting for verification from institution'. Upon calling her school to confirm if they have received it they confirmed that it has come and that they need money from her to send the document back. They started quoting different amount for DHL, FedEx and normal courier. Pls I want to know if this is right or its just one non-academic staff trying his luck. I'll really appreciate answers. Thanks

Science/TechnologyCars of the future by MockingBird(op):
Electric cars could cut the UK’s oil imports by 40% and reduce drivers’ fuel bills by £13bn if deployed on a large scale, according to a new study.

An electric vehicle surge would deliver an average £1,000 of fuel savings a year per driver, and spark a 47% drop in carbon emissions by 2030, said the Cambridge Econometrics study.

The paper, commissioned by the European Climate Foundation, said that air pollutants such as nitrogen oxide and particulates would be all but eliminated by mid-century, with knock-on health benefits from reduced respiratory diseases valued at over £1bn.

But enjoying the fruits of a clean vehicle boom will require an infrastructure roll-out soon, as the analysis assumes a deployment of over 6m electric vehicles by 2030 – growing to 23m by 2050 – powered by ambitious amounts of renewable energy.

“There will be a transition in the next five-10 years but you won’t see a sudden shift to electric vehicles until consumers have got over their ‘range anxiety’ concerns and that will only happen with infrastructure spending,” said Philip Summerton , one of the report’s authors.

With recharging stations still relatively few and far between, the ‘range anxiety’ fear that battery-powered vehicles could run out of power has been a notorious deterrent for consumers.

Most people here on this thread seems VERY lazy to read. They come here making senseless posts and useless comments when
Soludo Succintly addressed almost all issues regarding the Nigerian economy.

Abeg ehn...If u know say u never click the link to read the FULL post just don't comment.
This class of discussion is not for little minds. Its not a crime if you cannot comprehend Soludo's brilliance.
Here is someone telling us that:

"My estimate, Madam, is that probably more than N30 trillion has either been stolen or lost or unaccounted for or simply mismanaged under your watchful eyes in the past four years. Since you claim to be in charge, Nigerians are right to ask you to account. Think about what this amount could mean for the 112 million poor Nigerians or for our schools, hospitals, roads, etc. Soon, you will start asking the citizens to pay this or that tax, while some faceless “thieves” were pocketing over $40 million per day from oil alone."

My God it was even many many times what Sanusi mentioned. I just Pity NOI for soiling her career. Very enlightening and funny article indeed.
My favourite part.

" You did not contest or contradict any of my points. Rather, what you see is that Soludo must be ‘looking for a position’. Pity! If I am looking for a position, I would be running around one of the candidates now just as you are busy dancing Atilogwu dance cheesy at TAN and PDP rallies, struggling to keep your job."

Soludo is truly one of the brightest minds in this country and I respect him as a fellow Economist.

We need change in this country and hopefully it will come by FeBuhari 14

The Panels need to be exposed to Sunlight at all times. They are what convert light energy from the sun to electrical energy you use in your home. No problem with rain. Infact, rain helps to wash the panels and keep them clean. The Panels last for upto 30 years.

Hello All,
Just barely few days after I asked for help on Nairaland, I've been able to crack the puzzle. Now I can call my Fiance for hours unending everday and pay next to nothing - 1k per second (N36) for a one hour call. Thanks everyone, both for the sensible and even the senseless answers given by some. Now my chick and I can REALLY talk. I even slept off while we talked one evening and appologised the next day.

Now my relationship can blossom, Who says LDR cannot thrive is not a problem solver and a thinker.
As my contribution to the growth of love in relationships, I am willing to share this to all who want to know.

Reach me on dreamakerresources@gmail.com
Pls note, its not free but I'm willing to share this with you for as small fee of N2k as I paid to get this information too. Thanks

Chatting is not a real time way of communication. Not even the best chatting app like whatsaapp or BBM can substitute for hearing someone's voice, besides I can't stand waiting for 2 hours for someone to read my messages. It has even caused issues before in our relationships when I knew she has come online on whatsapp or read my messages on BBM and delayed for minutes or even hours to answer it. So I had to uninstall my whatsapp and stopped using BBM.

Hello, Pls I need help and reasonable solution to reduce my recharge card cost to my girlfriend. I'm in a distant relationship and I need to be talking to my girl everyday as I'm in Abuja and she is Lagos. We are so close and so fond of each other that we can gist for hours on a stretch. Sometimes I end up borrowing credit from MTN only to finish it on her again, she would do the same until even her borrowed credit is finished too. This is straining my finances as I need to load at least N400 recharge card every day to talk to her. She also buys recharge card to talk to me constantly as we both are working.

This everyday buying of at least N400 recharge card is putting a hole in my pocket, so I was wondering, is there any way I can reduce my call cost to her. Pls note, both of us are committed to the relationship and we cannot afford to compromise on our everyday communication as this is what keeps us glued together. Pls if you have any solution out there I would be grateful to even pay for such. Thanks
