Life is give & take... No one can build something out of Nothing.... Breaking down walls & bridge building anyday anytime will make anyone's path easy!! No matter how talented anyone is, they still need inputs & coperation of/from others to attain their full potential, bad attitude will wreck chances of greatness & bitterness does nothing but to poison & destroy its vessel. Humans are more emotional than pragmatic... They follow their hearts dictates 10x more than what is right / logical, even kindergarteners know wheedling will get more than what tantrums could ever hope to achieve... Na cane sef tantrums dey invite.... People achieve more by endearing themselves to other people.. When some think their heads are too strong, don't think deep, retrospect and logically conclude that civility & humility don't correlate to servitude, their journey go longggggggg & they may not even get to the "promised" land (pun intended ) Do the right thing & things will fall in place... *Modified* Fyi... Those wailing down below.
Permit me to correct the erroneous assumption that I care about your utopian never to be land... I do not care one way or the other.. cross my heart...
The objective of the thread is to highlight the truth which is that... "The renewed agitation is a direct fallout of loss of face & squandering of "political stock" not cos of any genuine or pure desire!! QED... |

Chidiebube Okeoma
Politician and businessman, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to stop treating the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kalu, as a hero..
Iwuanyanwu advised President Buhari not to treat the IPOB leader as an important personality by keeping him in detention for months but to quickly try him in court.
Iwuanyanwu, who spoke on Friday at the National Executive Council meeting of the Nigerian Union of journalists in Owerri, the Imo state capital, said Igbo desired to produce the president of the country and not to separate from it..
He said, “Igbo people are majority tribe in Nigeria. We are everywhere and doing greatly.”
He urged the President to quickly summon a meeting of elders in the country in order to find a permanent solution to the Niger Delta problems and insurgency.
Iwuanyanwu also berated the Niger Delta militants for blowing up oil pipelines, describing the act as stupidity capable of hindering the progress in the region.
Also, the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, who spoke at the event, said the country’s unity was non-negotiable.
The governor vowed to do everything to keep the country as one.
Okorocha said, “I see myself as an unusual Nigerian. While Igbo parents gave birth to me, I was born in the North, went to school there and even married in the North there. I was empowered by the West. For me, there is no better place to call our own than Nigeria. We must do everything possible to protect the country from those who seek its downfall.”
On his part, National President of NUJ, Mr. Waheed Odusile, said the union was happy with the ongoing war against graft, urging the Federal Government to allow journalists practise without restriction.. http://punchng.com/igbo-want-presidency-not-biafra-says-iwuanyanwu/Mynd44 lalasticlala |

The chances that ANY of our lawmakers' decision or choice of action is altruistic is one in a trillion.
You can always bet your life savings on the fact the self serving insatiable glutons will always put their stomachs first and be rest assured you wont lose it.
What a darn shame. Gist is that some of dem lawbreakers are owing banks as much as 2-400m in actual loan and interest accruals that keep growing by the day.. Funds they expended on party nomination & bribes with plans o short span recoup & endless balling....They will be regretting their decisions now..... some may likely have their properties foreclosed on soon... Vanguard learned from authoritative National Assembly sources that the lawmakers were upset by the non-release of the sum of N100 billion, which the Executive had approved for the lawmakers to execute their constituency projects barely a month to the end of the year... Like we didn't know that's the reason they've been kicking against the Executive's loan plan & what not.. yeye people. “As far as we are concerned, the Buhari administration does not just want to release the money for us to take care of our respective constituencies, apparently to put us at odds with our people. Which constituency are they talking about? Teenage girls and other people's wives/gfs most likely. ....are also unhappy with the Buhari administration for not consulting them before making major appointments in the country.......rendering them irrelevant politically unlike in the past when such appointees were largely nominated by them. These people fit arrange killers if e possible, especially the ones with crippling bank debts expended on election matters... . To think some got in cos of APC/Buhari SAK. |
