What are you saying huh You don't even understand the ceuxbof the argument, the family was compensated with cash, that is not in question...

Former President Goodluck Jonathan rejected calls to sack Moro but offered jobs to families of the victims close to the March 28, 2015 presidential election, which he lost. cc:pavarottii, ; I'm only doing this to help you with that which is beyond your understanding.

Conduct a verification & confirm if Jona's order was effected.. If the people protesting are the ones who suffered & ask yourself if it's fair enough..

Well i know someone that her bros got injured & the leg hasn't returned back to normal despite Rehab (family's expense)& what more only got to hear about the recruitment in the media despite documentation..

As i will always say, anyone is free to hate any govt they choose to , it makes no difference, PMB is there & nothing can change that before 2019..

These ones are relatives of ogas at the Top that were hurriedly fixed in in the twilight of Jona's govt.

No sir. He acted like a rogue Lawmaker. CCT is a judicial body of unquestionable jurisdiction in public officers assets declaration cases. Saraki is 'supposed' to be the Chief Law-maker and hence Chief Law-respecter of the Land.

Instead of facing his charges he was running round to stop proceedings. if he had nothing to hide he should clear his name before the CCT; after all, he has opportunity to appeal any undesirable decision by the CCT.

The same Saraki has, twice, ignored court summons in a different case brought against his Senate ; he did not send in lawyers nor give any reasons for his absence. This type of personality cannot continue to sit as the head of our nations highest lawmaking body.
I get all these, the question was a rebuttal to the other gentleman's claim that Saraki didn't act quickly enough..

Let's leave political affiliation aside, I'm not condoning his actions from june 9 till date, I'm talking survival instincts...... He definitely sought to protect his interest by going to the FHC but his "enemies" are stronger, so his not acting quicker is what i didn't get & sought clarification on.

Speaking on the outcome of the caucus meeting, an APC senator who preferred anonymity, said: “We are determined not to allow the PDP stop the confirmation of Amaechi. We are determined to ensure that he is confirmed because there is no reason for him not to be confirmed.
“Ameachi contributed a lot to the evolution of APC. He suffered a lot in the hands of former President Goodluck Jonathan. Wike wants to continue and we will not allow it.
“Given the way people have been mounting pressure on us, the public is in support of Amaechi; even outside the country, people are in support of him.
The text in quote is what Pro PDP folks have refused to understand, not that Amaechi is the cleanest, brightest, or sweetest of them all but APC will never ever allow his enemies to make mockery of him..

Call it bankrolling the Campaign, betrayal, whatever but the fact still remains, he is facing this much angst is due ONLY to his role in the ousting of Jona...

Read one of the houses Saraki declared in 2003 was purchased from El Rufai in [b]2007[/b & maybe El Rufai being PMB's godson felt he had to step up....

It's difficult to understand the inner workings of anyone's mind though, we can't know for sure if SR's reportage was a pre emptive strike to skew public opinion or there was actually a grand plan to buy judgement for Saraki..

Indefinite adjournment however does Saraki no good cos he can't go to the supreme court & he is at the mercy of the CCT..

IMHO,he acted the only way open to him, which was approaching the FHC to question the CCT's jurisdiction.

Or is there another angle? Kindly expatiate.. thx.

Great observation..
Just like I made an example to someone, an artist was paid 16m. For xmas party & 12m was kicked back to ogas.

We know no musician costs that much but try to argue it when All the fees was paid directly into his account & when the kick back I can guess would have been paid into the ogas' wives or children' accounts with fictitious names.

They think EFcc just arrests cos obj used it to fight his political enemies.. Akpabio & Odua's cases are different cos they never envisaged that PDP would crash & Fashola being in the opposition would have done a neat Job.

I'm a realist..Law is not Morality.

What's really a pity here is you mixing up 2 different issues.

She broke the law while Fashola did not break any law and if he did, please explain to us what law he broke.

Oduah was indicted by the Nigerian senate and the presidential panel set up by GEJ himself and even the same GEJ's presidential panel advised GEJ so sack her which he did.

Get some education before mixing apples and oranges.
Why are you trying to educate that waste of space who resorts to abuses when presented with a superior argument...

Knowing someone is guilty & proving guilt are two different ball games entirely!!!

Moreover why would I get into an argument with a ninny whose parents failed by not teaching manners or given a sound education & writes breaded instead of embedded or foul as fowl.

Not only fowl, it's chicken or turkey.

I usually don't pay them any attention when they show up in my mentions; my mama did a better job than theirs & 90% of the time they take leave of the insignificant commonsense they managed to possess & begin to belabour one with sentimental crap, so I leave them to their ignorance.

You may be referring to Fashola and not Fayemi. However, it seems a petition with convincing evidence was also submitted against Fayemi but the EFCC seems to be looking the other way. But they have rushed to investigate Akpabio. Seems like selective anti-corruption crusade by Buhari.
Did you check the date that Fayemi's petition was submitted to EFCChuh

september 2014!! & who was president then?

The people trying to score cheap political points know nigerians don't read!!

I don't support corrupt practices & god forbid I lose my dignity & make excuses cos I support pmb but as someone who knows a thing or two about govt office, civil servants & politicians are so skilled in "stealing" that it will take the grace of god to catch them..

Explaining away the borehole was what you saw at the screening, did I not know something fishy went down? Of course I do, proving it is a whole different ball game..

There is no morality in law unfortunately..

Akpabio's case if I may recall from what I read is that his aides made cash withdrawals from the state account for special services??

You may be as emotional about this as much as you want but there is no appropriation for this iunlike fashola that will be able to bring in experts & even the contractors to vouch that the job really cost that much..

Hope you understand my point now?

It is shameful and unpatriotic that people no longer pay heed to the financial crimes of officials. It is more disappointing that the Buhari-led administration is leading the charge in this new trend of prosecute their thieves but reward our own.

Was almost suckered into thinking oh, barca is trying to be objective till i got to the bolded...

It's just another attempt to hack a bit out of the anti corruption tree that PMB represents.... with the plan that since it's difficult to cut down an iroko , every little hack rremoves something no matter how little...

We can see through, the exercise in futility..

& leave that story about being disappointed in PMB, you withdrew your confidence long ago, so leave that part to the folks who reposed theirs in him...

Finally, continue with trying to pull PDP from the belly of the ocean & let PMB make an effort to correct the damage PDP left..

Is he perfect??, hell NO .... but he means well....

He still has 3yrs & 7 months of grace which is insignificant compared to the grace PDP "got"/ "rigged" from Nigerians..

Government office is the bedrock of corruption, proving it is always the issue..
