My dear, I'm so sorry I just replied your email now, but I'm not WhatsApp, please can you drop the info here or via email. Please, I'm planning to get a new phone asap, but I want to start the application now since it takes two months. Thanks for your help.

My questions are:

Is Sergionko Lawyers reliable??

Can I get a job related to makeup, cos that's my job?

Will the company process my Visa or just the work permit??

Will the company care for my accommodation, feeding and transportation??

How much is involved in the visa process? (Visa Fee, Insurance, miscellaneous etc)

How much is Flight Ticket??

How much should be in my account during visa application (Does it matter how long it has been in the account)??

How many pages should my cover letter be and how will I write it?

How will I fill the visa online application form??

My dear sorry for my long questions, this is my first time.

Thanks a lot dear.

Sergienko Lawyers is just like one of the agencies that helps in getting work permits documents. It doesn’t mean if they get you the work permits, the visa is guaranteed. They’re genuine in terms of getting you the documents to apply for visa. Getting the visa is left to you, the embassy and your God.

Makeup Jobs? Urmm Not really! But you can make your findings tho cause I don’t know everything.

You’ll be the one to process your visa. The company would only support you with documents and work permit.

Yes most companies provide accommodation and transportation from home to work. You’d have to take care of your feeding.

Visa fee is 80euro. Insurance fee depend on the company you’re using.

Flight ticket depends on when you’re booking it(prepare 350k for it)

Run your account properly, try and have at least 700k balance.

It doesn’t matter the how many pages the cover letter is , just write it properly and genuinely.

You’d fill your details on the visa form online and print it out for submission.

Everyone should read everything , I think most questions have been answered here now. No need for anyone to be asking the same again.

Good luck guys

Will like the OP to share his travel/living experiences so far.

Would appreciate some pictures as wel smiley

Will share pictures later...

But at the moment it’s crazily cold and freezing. Generally things are cheap tbh.
Most people are really nice and ready to help too.
So far so good

@Modupe please what are the most likely questions asked during the interview

Questions like...

Why are you going to Poland?
What’s the name and address of the company you’re going to work for?
Do you have accommodation in Poland? Who’s paying for it?
Where are you going in Poland? Why that city?
What’s the address of the accommodation?
What are you currently doing in Nigeria?
How much are you going to be paid in Poland?
What currency do they use in Poland? Spell it!
Do you know anyone in Poland?
What exactly are you going to be doing for the company? Explain in details your job.
What does the company do?

Just be prepared very well for anything. And finally....you need a God factor too. As a matter of fact , God’s favour is the most important thing.

I would suggest you fast and pray thoroughly, cause it’s not about any documents but by the favour of God.

Hello Modupe,
Thanks for sharing useful information so far. I have sent you a mail.
One question to ask: for a degree holder, what documents does he need to submit
should the documents be notarized at the embassy?
Also, aside blue collar job, it is possible to get a white collar job through those agents.
This is for a graduate

I’m not sure about notarising any documents for work visa, I think it’s applicable to students visa . If you’re going for blue collar jobs , your degree is not that important or necessary.

Yes you can get white collar jobs but very difficult.

Please how about language barrier, do they speak English enough there?

Not a lot . Some do and some don’t.

You’d be able to find a lot of English speaking people in places like Warsaw tho.

Which insurance company did you use and how much do they charge you? Any interview at the embassy?

Did you fill any form prior the appointment? Pls educate us..

Ì really appreciate your quick response. God bless

I used AXA Mansard for insurance.

They charged about 23k for one year.

Yes there was a short interview at the embassy when you go for submission.

When you get your appointment for submission, you have to fill your National Visa type D form on the Polish embassy website and submit the form online before printing it out.

You’ll then go with your form and your other supporting documents to the embassy on the appointment date.

As regard bank statement, please what's the ideal amount expected?

The visa process was 2weeks after submission

The work permit process shouldn’t be more than two months

what was in the cover letter and the bank statement how much is needed.

Okay.

Cover letter is basically you writing the details of your trip to Poland to the embassy and appealing for the visa to be granted.

My bank statement had 500k(with God’s favour)

I’d personally advise you have minimum of 700k please to be on the safer side.

congratulations brother.. have been waiting for an update from you.. congrats once more...
I think it high time I start processing mine too.. what step will you advice I take, should I go through Nigeria agent, or seeking for work permit online as you once said or you can be of help to me? ( By helping to get a job there,)

Thank you boss.

I think you should get a genuine work agency in Poland , that can secure a job for you in any company. They’ll be the one to help with work permit and other documents you’d need for visa application.

I’d have loved to help you get a job , but I’m still just trying to get into the system myself to understand how things work here. Maybe later in the future I’d be able to help people with getting jobs

@MoDuPe19201, please tell us the documents you submitted for the visa, how long it took before the visa was issued, your experience at POE. And how life is in Poland

I’ve listed the documents I submitted for the visa already.

It took exactly two weeks to get the visa.

My experience at the POE was very smooth. The immigration officer asked for my work permit documents and the documents from my employer. She also asked for my accommodation address. After about 5mins of check, she stamped the passport.

Poland is great so far, the weather is freezing tho. People are generally nice.

please don't let us do dm kindly list the process through which you did yours here so that we all learn. thanks

No worries.

Get an agency in Poland that can get a work for you in any company in Poland (You’d have to pay the agency for this process)

Or

Go on google and search for jobs in Poland, check any company looking for workers. Apply directly to the company and if the application is successful, they’ll process the work permit for you FREE of charge and mail it to you in Nigeria for visa application.

Oh nice. And it was extremely frustrating getting the appointment.

Just keep calling and you should try and get at least 3 different phones calling at the same time.

Documents I submitted:

Cover letter
Work Permit
Documents from Employer in Poland
Work contract
Bank Statement
Travel Insurance (365 days)
Flight Reservation (to And fro)

Please, what's the latest at the Polish Embassy In Nigeria?
The last I heard was that they were shutting down because of Covid-19 and more so, Polish government placed Nigeria as one of countries to be refused entry.

Please has the ban been lifted?

Yeah the ban is off.
