ramdris: Abeg how? The Peoples Democratic Party , PDP, has accused the governing All Progressive Congress, APC, of double standard and insincerity as the party that once chastised immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan for seeking regional cooperation to finding solution to the challenge of insurgency is now hailing President Muhammadu Buhari for toeing the same line. alfred5: Hypocrisy is when you are adamant about finding the missing girls, but now, you do not seem to care anymore
Hypocrisy is when you occupied Nigeria to perpetuate the petrol subsidy thing but now,you want it gone.
Hypocrisy is when you castigated him for seeking assistance from neighboring Chad and Niger republic, but now,you are also seeking help from the same people.
Hypocrisy is when you tag his party corrupt but now, more than half of the membership of your own political party is made up of the same people whom you tagged corrupt.
Hypocrisy is when you removed your intellectual garb and called him all sorts of names but now,you want us to be constructive in our criticism
You now preach ethics and decorum but, you were preaching fire and brimstone a few months ago.
Hypocrisy is when you celebrated every bomb blast that took innocent lives and now you want us to consider the fight against Boko Haram a national fight
I have got news for you, intellectualism can only be practiced mutually for it to have a true meaning.

I promise to apologize profusely and openly denounce my belief in Buharism on May 29, 2016 (God willing) if Buhari fails or makes any effort to be 50% as unassuming as the past President Jonathan! I can't help but agree with you. |

barcanista: I agree with you. You know a Saraki victory will give PDP control of the Senate ditto Dogara victory in the Reps. Their defeat will though still cause a crack in APC but will be a major setback for PDP in the power play of 2015-2019. It will mean that the PDP will work harder to stay relevant for 2019. That's why we can't afford to lose Should they lose, a revolt by Saraki and Dogara loyalists would equally be good. |

Politics › Re: Open Campaign For The Adoption Of Sen Saraki And Hon Dogara As PDP Candidates by Mogidi: 11:14am On Jun 07, 2015 |
barcanista: The Secret ballot I believe will be used so as to avoid victimisation of those that voted against the eventual winner. My brother, we shall cntinue to campaign. The PDP has a lot to gain and to lose in this political power play. A Saraki victory will tilt us closer to resurgence. Bros PDP is in a win win situation here no matter the outcome. A Saraki win would be good and a Saraki loss would equally be good considering the bad blood that would ensue from such a scenario. Did you notice how fast the Dogara and Saraki camp quickly released press statement indicating their displeasure at events? PDP would be the winner in all of this no matter the outcome, its a win win for us. |
Politics › Re: Open Campaign For The Adoption Of Sen Saraki And Hon Dogara As PDP Candidates by Mogidi: 11:07am On Jun 07, 2015 |
barcanista: Ofcourse we are. The APC will definitely implode via this crises. The emergence of Saraki as SP will mean annuling the political calculation of APC. This will breed distrust and will affect 2019. I have my strategy(plan) laid down for PDP to takeover in 2019(I won't type it here for safety sake). But I tell you that Saraki's emergence will be a BIG win for PDP. Should Yakubu Dogara emerge speaker, it will mean that PDP controls the full NASS by default. We must be prepared for serious politicking I wholeheartedly concur with above analysis and predictions. |

Bayswater: Secret ballot won't benefit them in the main election. What the PDP should kick against is the use of electronic voting. History is being replayed here, the PDP has more to lose, many people won't understand this. Why won't secret ballot help them considering the party's hierarchy won't know who they voted for? If you were an APC senator backing Saraki, would you prefer an open ballot or a secret ballot? |

APC Senators backing Saraki explain boycott of party’s mock election A group of Senators of the All Progressives Congress backing Senator Bukola Saraki for the presidency of the Nigerian Senate have issued a statement explaining their boycott of a mock election for the position organised by the leadership of their party.
In a statement early Sunday, the group said the open ballot system adopted for the mock election was primitive and undemocratic. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/184477-apc-senators-backing-saraki-explain-boycott-of-partys-mock-election.html |

Bayswater: I am hoping they see reason with the knowledgeable ones amongst them. The election will probably be secret ballot and it won't be electronic, so there's a possibility some will sell out. Secret ballot would help the opposition more, that was why APC hierarchy decided to conduct their mock election using open ballot. Check @saraki's timeline and you'd see what I mean. |

Pls refer me to any authentic Christian authority e.g. Bible or Sacred Ruling/Teaching that standardised or set the minimum age for marriage for Christians to 20 years. [/s] I don't know any variant of Christianity that allows for the betrothal of prepubescent girls, if you do please let me know. It only happens in certain religions. |

barcanista: Thank you my brother. Is it not the same Buhari Spokesman Shehu Garba that said... “President Muhammadu Buhari has declared his assets to the Code of Conduct Bureau as required by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If anyone is interested in knowing details of his asset worth, such a person can avail himself or herself of the use of Freedom of Information Act to seek the information from the bureau.”
They are deceiving themselves. Let's await the details Barcelona playing incredible football damn!! You people should have been 2 up by now. |
