Safe to say? Despite his consistent pronouncement that he doesn't have a preferred candidate? Despite his advising the party to let the NASS choose their leadership?

How can you guys be satisfied really?
Choose their leadership by intervening? I saw your earlier analysis regarding "interference and intervention"

He intervened but failed.

Did Buhari tell you his preference at any time?
Gbajabiamila is the preferred candidate of the establishment, its therefore safe to assume Buhari being the head of that organ won't be happy with the result.

bros believe me , apc is gradually slipping away from the grips of tinubu faster than he thought. Buhari seems to have renege on his promises just like oba akiolu warned some few weeks back that all isn't well between buhari and tinubu. The way it is now ,tinubu faction is now in the minority . Atiku ,kwankwanso, david mark, akpabio and co now call the shots . The northern apc has 16 state govs while tinubu south west has just 3. Tinubu no longer controls the senate nor the house of reps as far as politics is concerned ,tinubu seems to have finally outlived his usefulness.

not only on gbaja but even on buhari. Buhari no longer needs tinubu now. He has to move with the new power blocs in the senate and house of reps . Tinubu is only left with his 3 western states and the ministerial slots buhari will give him. This seems to be a coup by the northern caucus of apc against south west apc controlled by tinubu .
GBAM!!
The CPC wing of APC are now in complete control.

Court Approves Re-commencement of Suit Against Tinubu Over Murder of Funsho Williams
A Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday granted an application to re-list a suit seeking the prosecution of National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu and others over the gruesome murder of late Funsho Williams.

Williams, a former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State was murdered at his residence in Lagos in June 2006.

Trial judge, Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia had earlier struck out the suit which was filed by a former detainee in the Williams’ murder, Bashir Junaid.

The judge had struck out the suit for want of diligent prosecution. But on Monday, the judge granted an application to re-list the suit.

Junaid had gone to court seeking for an order of mandamus to compel the Inspector-General of Police, to re-open investigations into Funsho Williams murder.

The motion to re-list the suit was filed by the applicant’s lawyer, Tunji Adesheye.

Arguing the motion, Adesheye informed the court that his client had effected personal service of the concurrent writ of summons on the defendants that reside outside the court’s jurisdiction.

Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia, had earlier granted leave to the applicant to effect personal service of the concurrent writ of summons in the suit on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) by substituted means.

Other defendants affected by the court’s order included former IGP, Sunday Ehindero; Attorney General of the Federation and the PDP.

In the suit, the applicant is praying the court to compel the Attorney General of the Federation, to direct the appropriate organ in the Criminal Justice Administration in the country to commence prosecution of the alleged suspects in the murder of Engineer Funsho Williams.

He is also praying for a declaration that all defendants in the suit should pay him compensation for his illegal detention and the psychological trauma he suffered for a period of over one year under the unmitigated actions of the defendants both jointly and severally and for their acts of commission and omission over the said illegal detention and his unlawful incarceration over the murder.

Besides, Junaid is asking for a claim of N5 billion as both compensatory and exemplary damages against the defendants for their actions or inaction over his illegal detention and dehumanization over the murder of the deceased.

Listed as co-defendants in the suit are the Inspector-General of Police, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Sunday Ehindero (former I.G.P & I.P.O. of Funsho Williams’ murder case), Attorney-General of the Federation, Modupe Shasore and the PDP.

Others are Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Muiz Banire, Babatunde Edu, Dele Alake, and Henry Oladele Ajomale.

The matter has been adjourned till September 29.

Politics › Re: OPINION: Why Saraki's Victory May Be Nullified. by Mogidi: 12:37pm On Jun 09, 2015
koboko69:
The constitution of the Federal republic of Nigeria clearly states;

(1)The quorum of the Senate or of the House of Representatives shall be one-third of all the members on of the Legislative House concerned.

(2) The quorum of a joint sitting of both the Senate or of the House of Representatives shall be one-third of all the members of both Houses.

Nigeria has 108 senators. Going by the constitution before any sitting can take place, one-thrid of members of the senate or house of assembly must be present.

By this, before the elections can proceed, 72 senators must be present.

Going by reports, just 57 senators were present today, which made the election unconstitutional.

Any contrary opinion is welcomed.

Politics › Re: Saraki To VP: "I Cannot Be Summoned By A 'Mere Commissioner" - SaharaReporters by Mogidi: 8:13am On Jun 09, 2015
Sarahareporters lied as usual.

Saraki's statement:
The attention of Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki’s media office has been drawn to a publication by an online tabloid which insinuated that “Senator Saraki Boycotts APC Leadership Meeting To be Chaired by VP Osinbajo”

We wish to categorically state that up to this very point 10:50pm, 8th of June 2015, senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki is yet to receive any official invitation from His Excellency Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria or through any other source for any meeting; political, social or otherwise.

Understanding the importance of last-minute consultation required for the inauguration of the 8th Assembly, Senator Saraki has been attending to meetings with colleagues and friends on the program for the 8th assembly.

Senator Saraki having been in public service in different capacity knows the importance of respecting the office and person of the Vice President. And therefore advise those spreading false news to cease and desist.

Senator Saraki therefore, uses this opportunity to assure His Excellency, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Federal Republic of Nigeria of his highest regards.

Signed:
