I really wonder how those men sleep at night

I long to see a corruption free Nigeria

Nobody should be above the law not to think of tagging someone as “the law” . Good God!

We need to find that works and will bring instant punishment to perpetrators. This inaction is killing us

We just need to attend to the situation of things in this country with all urgency

Now we only hear millions and billions flying everywhere and we have a leader o

The major two evil terrorising Nigeria, insecurity and corruption which was supposed to his focus still give us sleepless nights

Not to talk of the killings in the North and government is not even paying attention to it. State government isn’t doing much and federal is not asking questions.
Whose turn will it be tomorrow

What about these BH insurgents that was reintegrated into the society, can you just imagine. In the midst of us still battling BH insurgencies

We always choose to put sentiment in everything we do, if a politician steals you will hear people saying they should tamper justice with mercy for the sake of his children.

For every decision we make in life we must pay a price, but what matters is what we would gain from such decision

Good question and that is why it has to be a gradual process. It took a while to get bad, it will take a while to get good. Character change takes time.

We have even gone so far as to show to the world that can’t be trusted

One irony of employment in this country is that employees complain there are no jobs while employers complain that people are not ready to work and display lack of trust

Even we at the lower rung of the ladder do not trust each other . Personally I’m always on the look when dealing with my fellow Nigerians. Little wonder why Nigerian companies don’t allow relationships among their employees or employ blood relations
it boils down to trust issues

Sanity/ peppery functioning means you can’t bribe your way out of breaking traffic rules
Sanity means we pay bills promptly, I have experience of neighbors who don’t pay Nepa bills regularly and las las they moved out leaving bills for the next occupants.
Normalcy means no more tax evasion
Normalcy means everyone will be held accountable for their actions at all times
Are we ready to pay the price?

It’s a lot of work getting this county to function properly, another question is are we ready for what normalcy/sanity brings ?

I also have a former from DRC and the first day he got to Nigeria. The disorganization of the country was an anomaly for him. Other West African countries dont have the economy we have but character wise, much better.

yeah, even what we call smaller countries do things better than how we do here. I really don’t understand how we are not ashamed to be called giant of Africa

Many of us are deformed character wise, to get better as a nation we must start from there

Many Nigerians in private sectors don’t steal not because they don’t want to buy because that system is more regulated , if not they will steal from their employers

An average Nigerian is out to cheat the other person. Many of us cheat and steal in the little offices we occupy. Should we talk about civil servants? Talk plenty

Most of us are not better than our politicians. The system does not checkmate you. When you steal, the repercussion is not there. Like Jonathan will say, when you put banana where a monkey is. The monkey will eat banana.

true that many Nigerians are not better than our leaders, the only difference is that we haven’t gotten the opportunity they have. There’s need for character reform in this country

Just imagine this sort of drama happening in a western world, can you even imagine it

Ofcourse, in the West they do that. If you steal you will be punished. The former president of Egypt unfortunately died in prison before his corruption case could finish. Since these guys here have agreed to gang a play us drama. Let death come upon any one who still intend to steal and steals.
