I am really interested in becoming an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with Engineering Council UK before moving to the UK as I believe this will enhance my chances of finding work when I get there. I want to go through the route of first becoming Associate Member (AMIMechE) with the IMechE and then proceeding to IEng. My questions however are

1. How easy is it to become AMIMechE and IEng from Nigeria as no Nigerian University is in their database on accredited or recognized universities?

2. How ease is it to find work in the UK with AMIMechE only as an immigrant?

3. How ease is it to find work in the UK with IEng as an immigrant?

4. I am also think of proceeding to becoming a CEng (Chartered Engineer), is this really possible without a masters degree?

Hello all,
Please pardon me if these questions have been asked before.

1. What is the conversion rate Skrill uses to pay to naira account? CBN rate or black market?
2. If I want to withdrawn to my dollar domiciliary account, will the 3.99% conversion fee still be deducted? I asked this because I sense they deal with Euro so conversion from euros to dollars will still take place.

This is from their website: "For transactions involving currency conversion Skrill adds a fee of 3.99% to our wholesale exchange rates."

This is my first time using Skrill and I don't want to take any chances because I heard they even charge you for failed transactions.

Invitation to join the SIRQ Groups

You are invited to join the above named designers/programmers think tank. This is a group
that focus on innovative solution to problems, interchange of ideas between members, and also
believe in the “start small, grow big” ideology.

SIRQ Groups was born out of the desire to give back to the society, and not just giving back
but giving back Sustainable solutions that is free of adverts at FOC, Innovative designs, backed
by a Reliable team that ensures Quality delivery in programming and designs.

The group function as a team where decision making is subject to all, where members can learn
from one another and give back to the society.

The group also operate as an “online society” which as no “physical office space” (at least for
now). Workgroups however exchange ideas and codes via online means that is convenient for
all within that same workgroup.

The group is looking forward to having designers/programmers from a wild range of languages
including but not limited to C++, PHP, HTML/CSS, javascript, Android, BlackBerry, iOS,
Linux, etc.
