Thanks so much boss. I appreciate! IYGEAL: For every unit of the stock you hold at current price of 34, you shall be paid a dividend of 2 naira 50 kobo.
Ignore the statement ordinary share of 50 kobo. 50 kobo is the nominal price for most listed stocks.
Meanwhile, withholding tax is 10% of the total sum of the dividend. So assuming that the dividend equals N100,000, you shall be paid only N90,000 while government takes N10,000; if withholding tax applies to your stock, which is most likely the case. |
